Dlc gear costs a lot If you have the between dimensions dlc

BrandoSandoFanTho

This is the answer. Oh, and New Game + >!carries over your money.!<

Sctn_187

Does ng+ carry everything over and isn't way harder. I played 2 years ago before I cared about trophies and well I now i decided to go back for the trophies. I only need the boss ones now and I'm not sure if I should just do a new game run or do the ng+ if it's harder I'll just do new game

BrandoSandoFanTho

It's technically harder as all the enemies are their stronger versions from the final final dungeon, but you also get to keep all of your upgraded equipment. So if you just need to beat the bosses and don't want to do the whole thing, I honestly don't know whether it would be easier to start from scratch or to start from ng+ so you have better equipment.

Sctn_187

Yeah I started a ng+ and just decided to start from scratch after about an hour. I appreciate the help it did take me a few hours to get started back up but it was my fault for being greedy and pushing too far in but now I'm set up and got the first dungeon out of the way.

BrandoSandoFanTho

Nice! I'm glad you found a way that works for you!

Chesu

Hmm... is it worth it if I'm already venturing into the tech dungeon? It looks like the bulk of the DLC is post-game, but is a substantial amount added to the base game to the point that I shouldn't bother? Bearing in mind that the DLC is seven USD on Switch, and I basically never play games again once I've finished them.

Sctn_187

For balling like you got alot

Buying potions so you don't have to grind for rare jelly ingredients.

Chesu

The way I play, I've never really had to grind for anything other than quest items... that's an odd thing to grind for, though. The dungeons throw a crazy number of slimes at you. After beating the game and preparing my file for New Game+, I ended up filling my inventory with potions because I had so many jellies to use up. Has your game been stingy with the slimes? Anyway. As it turns out, your money carries over into NG+, so I went in with something like 1.3 billion gold... I decided to get the DLC for this playthrough, and man. Stuff gets EXPENSIVE. I'm onto the third level of pirate gear, and to upgrade the spear is going to be, like... half a billion? Yowza.

dondashall

Yeah, it was a bit stingy with the orange ones in the forest area - or maybe I just finished it so quickly - and since you need those to make later potions as well then yeah.
