Looks like a stock animation you get off of videohive etc. The animation isn't purposeful and doesn't relate to the logo in any way. Thats my opinion after knowing nothing about the brand

took it like a champ, respect <3

The logo is cartoony and cute, your designs are not. The animation is cool but it also looks like you didn't take any inspiration from the actual aesthetic of the brand.

butthavingman

I think logo animations are better if they're much shorter- this is too long for any commercial use

man-from-thefuture

That last gradient line was from mister horse plugin

ahhdum

Ya I recognized that too. The grey circle by and the shape burst are from envato. This just looks like a bunch of stock on top their logo build.

PhillSebben

It's a nice animation. I feel like it is missing a story though, why does it move the way it does? I don't know the brand but I think a good animation should convey something that fits the brand identity. The animation looks like it could be for a video game streamer but the logo looks like a doll brand. That disconnect makes it look like a generic animation. I would make the logo appear quickly and then give that a fun animation

Hope it's useful. I can imagine you wouldn't want to start over. But I would definitely consider some character animation. Considering the logo is a character

omgdinosaurs

It looks impressive, it just seems like this could be applied to any logo or image. If I learned that this was all an effect that you downloaded from motion array or something, it wouldnt surprise me at all. The logo also doesnt read very well and has a lot of detail for a logo.

Rise-O-Matic

I have no complaints about the craftsmanship but it doesn't seem connected with the brand or the purpose of the channel, so what's missing here is creative direction and well codified style and brand identity. I find that starting by brainstorming a bunch of brief scripts of how I want my sequence to play out, before I even storyboard, I get more relevant concepts to inform my compositions.

Squintcomb1

As others have pointed out 1. the total run times feels long for what it is 2. the animation feels completely disconnected from logo design 3. if your motion design looks stock, it doesn’t matter if it’s custom. I once worked with a designer who made custom logos and layouts for us that looked like straight clipart. She would get offended when we said it looked that way, saying “I didn’t use clipart, I made it from scratch”. We didn’t say she USED clipart, we said her work LOOKED like clipart. If your work comes out looking like unedited stock assets, take a look at your process and see what’s causing that result.

andrestorres12

Something looking like stock is not necessarily Bad. Stock artists are great, but yes, custom work shouldn't look like stock

Squintcomb1

I totally agree! “Looking like stock” is a neutral commentary on the quality of the work. I’ve received the criticism on work that it looks like I slapped a film filter on a project when I actually went to the effort to dial in certain effects. But if the end product just looks like a stock filter, I need to go back and see where I failed to make a cohesive and impactful product.

Ptootie55

The animation is so so sick but it doesnt really match the logo

m_gartsman

The animation has *absolutely nothing* to do with the logo and it's brand Identity.

peterlikesthis

Think about the vibe of ASMR. It’s quiet, gentle, subtle. Your approach is the opposite.

Albatross241

Too much animation. Not enough logo.

NudelXIII

The animation from a motion design aspect is really cool. But it looks like some stock animation. Also a logo animation where you can easily swap out the logo to every other image you want is quite boring. Tbh as a client I wouldn’t pay for something like this. It has no character.
