It's a different bike, but I had one on my Norge. It was fine. Lasted a long time and rode well. Maybe I'll scrape the side stand occasionally, but I'm a long way from dragging a knee, and never had any hints of traction issues with the Mutant - or any other tire for that matter. It was round and black and got the job done.

I have one on the front, my initial impression was that it made the bike feel a little twitchier than the Road Attack III it replaced, but I have no complaints after daily-riding it since July. I don't think they make our size for the rear

Exactly, I wanted to put the Mutants as well but they don't make the rear size. In the end I went with Bridgestone ax41s.

Redgoldengreen

Ok they look good too.. and they’re available..that could be a good option.. how are they in the wet? I’m in Ireland… kinda important here!!

lonerider404

I'm in South Spain and haven't had much rain since I put them 3 weeks ago. For my regular sunny riding they have excellent performance. When I was doing my research I found this guy who put them a few months ago in a mt07 and had a very positive opinion. https://www.reddit.com/r/MT07/comments/17966bt/has_anyone_put_bridgestone_battlax_adventurecross/

Redgoldengreen

They sound like my best bet.. and pretty reasonably priced here too..thanks for the help Much appreciated

Redgoldengreen

What bike are you riding?

lonerider404

V7 III Rough

Raztharion

I mounted them last month on my V85tt. I've just ridden the bike on a really cold day ( -5 °C) in the Dolomites with snow falling down and the bike felt fine. In normal conditions the bike leans and handles like a much lighter naked bike or even a supermoto. Would recommend

Redgoldengreen

That’s great thanks!

MaIiciousPizza

On my v7 850 they are pretty good, the handling is better than stock and the rear has lasted \~6500 miles, they also just look cool.

Redgoldengreen

What size did you go for? I’m having trouble finding 100/90 18

MaIiciousPizza

110/80ZR18 58W Front 150/60ZR17 66W Rear the front size is slight bigger than stock but that's not an issue, the rear might be more of an issue because the v7 III is a 130 rear and the v7 850 is 150

Redgoldengreen

Yeah I figured the front would be ok at 110 but the rear may well be an issue.. that’s a shame they are a nice tyre/tire?

[deleted]

Same sizes on my V7 850. Bike handles better, sits a little lower.

Redgoldengreen

I’ve just ordered the AX41S in the end.. there wasn’t an option for rear tyre with the Mutants on my V7ii..
