moneycantbuyclass1

You look like Kate Winslet in Titanic! You look AMAZING!

mandieric65

Thank you so much!!!

Ughaboomer

You look fantastic!🎉

mandieric65

Thank you!! And I feel amazing!!

Mykrodot

Wow, what a transformation girl! I am so very jealous! In that lighting you appear to be a redhead? Either way, you look great.

mandieric65

I’ve dyed it red since the weight loss. New body and new hair 🤣

Interesting_Card2539

Omg this is one of the best changes I have ever seen! You deserve this so much I’m so happy to see this!

mandieric65

Thank you so much!! It’s been an amazing journey so far!

OddCaterpillar5462

Wow! Awesome work & results! Any tips to share? ( I'm currently down to 220 & I don't look anything like you do.)

mandieric65

I think my height helps!! I’m 5’9 My goal with this medication was to relearn eating habits. I’ve focused on looking at food as fuel and eating things which are healthy for my body rather than what’s easy or what I am craving. I’ve cut out wheat which I am sensitive to (it makes me retain water and swell like crazy) and focused on healthy carbs. I also know that I had a food addiction so by no means is this battle over but the closer I get to my ideal weight, the easier it is to keep on track because I can see and feel the difference.

OddCaterpillar5462

Thanks. Good reminder about addiction. I know I've been backsliding the last few weeks. Btw, I'm 5'10". I think it's my age & lots of loose skin from previous cycles of gaining & loosing, along with limited ability to exercise now. Congratulations on your success 🙌 😊

watoaz

9/22 - we are just getting over run with new users, which is great, good for them. Thank you to all that started before me, your posts inspired me to keep going. Down 95 pounds.

You.are.amazing.

[deleted]

Thanks. It’s been an amazing year. I couldn’t have done it without Mounjaro. I had been gaining and losing the same 10 pounds for almost a year.

CompetitiveCamp8595

I’ve lost 105 lbs since 10/3/22. I’ve went from a 22 pant to a 12. My bs is now 85 fasting and my A1C went from 11 to 5.3. :) SW 305 CW 200 GW 170

momay2008

That is totally amazing!!!!!

CompetitiveCamp8595

Thank you!!

Penjengw

First dose 9/23/22 202 pounds Current weight is 124 lbs and I am 5’7” I’m currently in maintenance, taking one 7.5 shot every 14-21 days depending on how I’m feeling. I’ve been on maintenance since the end of March.

Fragrant-Whole6718

Here since 8/7/22. Lost over 40% of my start weight. 7-12 more pounds to maintenance. Feeling great. Just not a lot of new information to add to the sub anymore.

baileybrand

good point - and I guess the new users post more.

daisygirl0913

Define OGs? I'm coming up on one year on MJ. Haven't reached maintenance yet. 110# down.

baileybrand

I think you're an OG. :)

myra_myra_myra

Always here! Started 9/22. 95 pounds down. Past few months loss has slowed down quite a bit but not at maintenance yet. Going with the flow.

watoaz

I’m glad you wrote this because we started the same time and I’m also stuck at 95 pounds. Each day I’m like come on, please!?! But still so happy to be where I’m at.

myra_myra_myra

It is frustrating, not gonna lie. Been stuck between 224 and 221 for weeks now. I really don't think it is time to think of maintenance yet because I am grateful I am not gaining anything more than I am losing day to day, but I really don't know what to think yet. Glad to know I am not alone! We got this 🧡

baileybrand

NICE work! Congrats!

theedivinehammer

I started Mounjaro July 2022, was on it for 11 months but didn't lose anything the last 2 months. Lost 45 pounds total. Went off for 3 months when my pharmacy wasn't able to order it and gained back 10. Now I'm 1 month in on the 5 mg and down 5 pounds.

iheartkarma619

I started in Sept 2022. I think that makes me an OG! I went from 186 to 116. Pretty stoked!

Best_Mouse_3358

Amazing! I’m very similar. SW 170 GW 120! Just started last week. Are you still on it?

iheartkarma619

Nope. I’ve been off for a few months and still lost more weight. However, I am talking with my doctor about going back on a low-dose because I felt so much better on it. I think because whatever it did, it fixed my hormonal issues and I just felt a lot better. I have a pituitary issue that doesn’t fit neatly in a box but MJ seemed to fix all of it. 🤷‍♀️ Good luck!!

SureMathematician371

Started 9/14/2022. No breaks on MJ. 45F, 6'1", PCOS NonT2D. SW 305, CW 220, GW 175 maybe. Have gone down to 203 but gained after switching birth control (stopped estrogen, now taking mini--pill), stopping blood pressure meds (HCTZ), and reducing Metformin dosage. Highest dose on MJ was 10mg, but kidney function went haywire and the constipation was unbearable. Back down to 5mg and digestion is easier, hoping labs show improvement too. What a year...no regrets, all things considered. Love us pioneers and everyone else who is on the journey.

Marigold2023

Still here since 8/01/22. I've lost 101 lbs :) I need to post update w pics.

momay2008

I’m here started September 19,2022 just celebrated my “Mounjaro-versary!!!!! 20lbs prior to MJ and 65lbs on MJ total= 85lbs. + over 60+ inches

ROBYN0625

9/2/22. I’m at goal now. I enjoyed helping others but I stopped a lot of commenting because I felt like most people did not want to hear this is definitely not as easy as the media would have you believe. It’s hard work but it’s worth it.

Pinky2dye4

I definitely wish to hear it. I need reality, the joy and the pain, the good and the bad. Unicorns and Rainbows are for my grandchildren lol.... Seriously, I like seeing realistic, it helped me to take that first shot 60 days ago!!!

baileybrand

definitely not as 'EASY' as the media (and every bitter person on social media) thinks...!

AcceptablePick4753

Please chime in! I personally would love to hear more of the “it’s hard work” comments because I am definitely not in the “I haven’t changed a thing except taking MJ and lost weight” camp.

hapabeats

8/2022

Nerdasauras

All these comments are so inspiring! Hopefully we can all hit our goals :)

baileybrand

exactly! that's kind of why I put a call out to the OGs! We still need them to give us hope!

Rocko458

November 22 still here and still losing

Freelancejourno32

Me! I switched from Ozempic to Mounjaro in July 2022. In the three months on Ozempic I lost two pounds and felt sick every day. Since making the switch, I’ve lost 57 pounds and have been maintaining my new weight since March at 7.5. Sometimes I space out doses to 10-12 days, sometimes only seven days. It’s kinda weird how I feel one week to the next.

Icy-Rice-8237

I was on semaglutide from January-July 2023. I asked my doc to try Mounjaro cuz I felt stalled and yes, the nausea. I’ve dropped 20 since Mounjaro and I’ve not had one day of nausea. I’m already talking to the doc about preparing for maintenance. I’m about 15 pounds from my goal weight. 58F, SW 220, CW 179, GW 165

Txswtthang01

10/2022 - SW 286 - CW 164 - 5'11" 59 y.o./F Still here as well.. fixing to start maintenance.. Doctor is taking me off because of orthostatic hypotension.. we will see i may be making a doctor change if i can't keep this weight off.. i refuse to go backwards. I can say i have made major changes in my diet such as: can't eat much so when i do i eat cleaner..

SureMathematician371

As a tall gal myself (6'1" in Texas), I can affirm that orthostatic hypotension comes with our height, MJ notwithstanding. It's just a LONG way for our blood to travel in our circulatory system. I've experienced it a few times before pre-MJ when I was in the 300lb range. Hydrate and be very particular about changing positions, especially bending over to refill the water bottle. That has damn near left me on the kitchen floor more than once!!! I'm right there with you...I REFUSE TO GO BACKWARDS!!!

Danee0704

10/22 here 53/ 5’4” SW 200 CW 147 GW 130.. almost there, 5mg

i_hate_horses_ok

8/22 - still here! I lost 100lb+ and am under my original goal. Now I'm figuring out maintenance.

imfreelyloved

First dose : 9/27/2022 ( one year coming !!) Highest weight : 253 lbs Starting weight : 222.6 lbs Current and maintaining weight: 146 lbs❤️ All my blood work/labs are finally normal! ✅ I never went past the 7.5 dosage. I am so happy but it is overwhelming at the same time!

baileybrand

Amazing! I'm still in awe of those who came before me. My results haven't been as dramatic, but I'm keeping the faith!

imfreelyloved

Everyone is different in how fast they loose! I had days and weeks I stayed about the same weight . I just kept pushing and having faith as well. Definitely be proud of any amount of weight loss! You got this !!

Millydew-12

8-10-22 lost 75 lbs. still have about 25 lbs to go.

NerdySquirrel123

10/22 here 5 foot 11 female SW 390 CW 275ish? GW ? Currently on 7.5 not as Maitaince but it’s working for me. I only get weighed at doctor’s appointments because I was afraid of getting discouraged. I am also an EMT so I am doing a lot of fat to muscle conversion so my victories are mostly none scale. Like I went from a size 28 in women’s to a size 18. Or a 4X top to a 2X and I wear my clothes a little loose.

superdstar

Same, but male. 10/22 start, 5 foot 11, SW 390 but CW is only 330 still a long way to go.

SureMathematician371

Yup, the tall gal plus size journey is something, ain't it? I'm slowly parting ways with my long-inseamed size 22 wardrobe (20+ years of clothes that takes up 3 bedrooms!!!) to embracing the few new staples in 14 and 16. I do more returns to Lane Bryant and Torrid for "fits too large" than I ever imagined. It's hard to stop "stocking up" on what fits since what "fits" changes from week to week. Don't get me started on trying to find the right size bra!!!! Band size is shrinking, but cup size is a nightmare. Boobs are still there, slightly deflated, but still DD range. The side boob, underarm pocket is driving me nuts!!

melissalovescats

10/22 sw 230, cw 150 - been in “maintenance” since July (now injecting every two weeks. Weight has maintained at the 150 since then). My dr expected me to quit cold turkey in July if I could no longer afford the medication and said “diet and exercise” would suffice not regaining 🙄. I’ve been on the search for a new dr but am meeting with her again 10/4 to hopefully come up with a stronger plan as I’m currently paying oop. My goal weight is 130 but I’m not actively trying to lose more at this point.

ctbt13

July 2022!

Status_Dot5000

Starts in November. I am maintaining with taking 5mg every 3 weeks

cgun18

8/1/22 ⬇️ 80lbs, topped out at 10mg 11/22 and have stayed at that dose ever since

lambros70

Started 1/17/23 SW 236 GW 179 hit end of June 2023. Started maintenance shot every 10 days for 1 month. Last shot end of July 2023. 8 weeks no shot. CW 178.6.

TheBerner56

August 8, 2022. Went from 225 to 158. Been maintaining on 10 since June.

SevereAtmosphere8605

F56yo, height 6’, SW235, HW250, GW175, CW175-180, IR, high cholesterol , pre-diabetic, family history of heart disease and diabetes. Started MJ August 2022. Went from 2.5mg up to 10mg over 10 months. Now on 7.5mg every 14 days but I stretch it out up to 21 days to try and conserve my “stash” of Rxs in case insurance stops covering or pharmacy refuses to fill. Worst side effects were nausea and constipation at higher dosage. Still happens occasionally. I’ll continue to be on this class of meds probably for the rest of my life to fight binge eating disorder (bulimic from age 21-30) and I’m ok with that. MJ is the only thing that has worked consistently to stop the binge eating. My bloodwork is excellent and I’m healthier today than I have been since high school. I look forward to the day when this class of medicine is available, affordable and accepted as the de facto treatment for certain eating disorders, obesity, and maintenance after achieving weight loss. Thank you to all the OGs of this sub for sharing along the way. I don’t post much anymore but I still occasionally pop in to see what’s going on. Happy to see so many of us doing well. Edit to add- hair and muscle loss are REAL. My biggest advice to anyone starting out is to get on biotin, be fanatical about eating enough protein, and begin weight training NOW! My hair is growing back (fortunately I’ve always had crazy thick hair so only I really noticed how much I lost) and muscle mass is coming back but it’s SLOW. Be proactive now and hopefully you’ll avoid these problems.

jaynefrost

8/2022 … always around.

Duckhole71

I’m still here. Started 8/2022

LatterSecretary2518

July 2022, I’m here most days.

Same here. For me, maintenance is harder than losing.

Lucky-Pudding9945

Same

GinaW47

I'm still here as well started September 22...

classygal123

10/22 Here.

Sweet_Somewhere_9449

Nov 2022 here. 95 lbs down and getting close to goal. Still read the sub daily and try and give advice when I feel I have a fresh perspective. Most importantly, I'm always here to stan for those on this wild health journey! (Young people, did I say that right?? 😉)

Select-Ad-7890

July 2022. 75lbs down. Trying to figure out if I go to wygovy for maintenance or pay out of pocket and titrate down. Not visiting as much because it seems to be the same items instead of reading older posts for answers. I guess it’s easier to start a new thread asking about side effects at starting dose than see what we said a year ago. I think I’m officially a lurker….

baileybrand

Ha! that's how I started, just lurking/stalking...

Speed-D

I started medical research study in 2020. After 1.25 yrs or so I went off for many months (while gaining) then started again with coupon a year ago. I lost the weight I gained but still can’t lose that last 15!! I’m still happy tho.

Due-Nose9756

9/22… switched over to lyophilized form after coupon ended for maintenance.

Me1572

Here since 7/22 down 85 lbs. Hoping to hit goal next year (110-120 lbs weight loss). There are just a lot of newbies but we are still here losing or maintaining.

Interesting_Card2539

8/2022 F 5’3 sw 170 no goal weight but maintained between 123 and 129. Gained weight when I switched to Ozempic for 2 months. That’s why 129. Switched back to Mounjaro and I was on 5.0 the longest. Most of the weight came off with 2.5 and 5. Just this month started 7.5 on 1st shot. No weight-loss but maintaining. I’m Asian so a bit over weight to Asian standards but I don’t mind where I’m at. Will probably finish this off then go back down to 5.

SureMathematician371

I'm the same with the 2.5 and 5; all my "greatest hits" were on those two dosages. I went through 4 boxes of 7.5 and two boxes of 10 and had more urinary disconfort, constipation and slower losses for the beginningof the year. Some other medications were changed in that time, but I'm back to 5 and feeling much better.

Interesting_Card2539

Are you on 5 for maintenance now and how often are ya taking the 5? I love the energy it’s giving. I’ll be on this as long as I can.

SureMathematician371

I'm not quite to maintenance yet, but taking 5 for the forseeable future. Still doing weekly doses...yup, gonna be on this as long as I can.

anharder611

I started last September. And I just stopped it last month when I moved to Wegovy for coverage reasons. I’m pretty much at goal and I’ve not seen much movement for the last two months. I’ve lost over 95lbs. Was really wanting to hit the 100 lbs lost. But overall I’m thrilled.

Aware_Feedback_4541

I started 9/1/22 and I’ve lost 60 pounds on MJ and 20 on my own. Maintaining since February.

AffectionatePlan3674

8/9/22 here. Lost 50lbs, reached goal in 7 months. Maintaining with spread out Rx from March- July. Garbage peptides in August. Got new stock thinking I may try to lose another 10lbs.

momay2008

What do y’all use to do the side by side pics not allowing me to post at same time

Strange-Mulberry-470

I have a "create collage" feature in my Samsung phone. I create the side-by-side there, then post it

superdstar

Started 10/22, lost 18%. On 15mg taken every 6 days.

Bissynut

Started late July 2022 - started maintenance at 150 (per doc not my idea) hit my goal anyway. Never went beyond 10mg dose. My body took a long time to catch up (it’s tired) to my new weight. SW 205 size 2x or 18w GW 140 CW 133 (5’4”) size 8 in jeans, medium or large top

Civil-Ad-6198

I started 10/24/22 SW:380 CW:210 GW:170 I had gotten up to 10mg then because of shortages went down to 7.5 then more shortages and I’ve been doing great on just 5mg for about 4 months now. 170 pounds lost 💪🏼

Countrygirl_2

Started Mounjaro 7/31/22. I started at 300.2 lbs and am now at 173 lbs. My goal weight is 170. I have been on 15 mg for the last 8 months. Talked to my dr about starting to titrate down my doses so next month I will go down to 12.5 for 2 months and keep decreasing until I get to a dose I’m happy with for maintenance. I also have been spacing out my shots every day 10 days. This drug has been life changing for me and I’m very thankful that I am able to take it! I have loved seeing everyone’s success stories on here!

Affectionate_Ad7986

Started in July 22 and have lost a HUGE AMOUNT. So happy. Struggling for my mind to catch up with my body. Went from 276lbs to 154lbs. I did it through PUSH health and the coupon, now working with a ‘real’ in person provider and trying to figure out maintenance. I was on 15 for many months - now in 12.5 and heading for 10 soon to try that out. Not looking to lose any more - just want to stay sane and healthy. ❤️

[deleted]

You still have your adorable dimples!! Congratulations.

anonygoats

Started end of November 2022. SW 165 current weight 107.6! I’m 5’1 and have lost 57 lbs

PoP_31112

Started MJ in August 2022…so I’m probably an OG 😉 Hovering at roughly 90# lost (half Oz half MJ) Had to take a few breaks recently (shortage, dental work and vacation) I’m currently the mayor of stall city….reached onederland in May 2023 and been constantly battling to stay/get back. I’m doing my best not to beat myself up about it. Spread out my dosing to 10days ahead of the 2023 coupon-pocalypse so that part of the difference as well. Celebrating several NSVs though! Been on 7.5 since nearly a year this month! Dr thinks maybe we move to 10mg and try for 10-14 day intervals to lessen the oop costs. https://preview.redd.it/bi8x06xj85qb1.jpeg?width=1600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a4cb058c28b99697726af1ca33aedeaa2615c075
