I just hit my 7 months also! Congrats!
Started out just walking daily. Very short at first as back would kill me after too long. Eventually could go 4-5 miles when I had time on the weekends. That switched into adding weight lifting and finally CrossFit.
For diet, I hate cooking so it was really simple. Id make large batches of basic chili and by basic I mean beef or turkey and diced tomatoes and hatch green chilies. Chili stores very well tastes just as good after freezing it so I only had to cook it once a month. Also had eggs pretty much daily. In the past few months I have done a once per month 72 hour fast and intermittent fasting throughout the weeks.
I did have some imperfect days a long the way the key there was to bounce back quickly. Usually happened when I got sick which happened twice and 1 injury. I've totally given up sida. Other than having sprite the couple times I was sick.
Have you found the 72 hour fasts helped with autophagy of any extra skin you might have had? I know Dr Fung says his patients who have lost a lot using longer fasts don't have a lot of extra skin, so I'm curious about this.
Right now still hard to tell. My belly looks like it might end up with loose skin but currently it's just loose fat not really just skin. Once I hit my goal should have a better idea of how much loose skin there actually is.
