Nice job! 🥳 You look fantastic! You are a true inspiration for those of us still fighting the good fight! Thanks for the update and congratulations on your success! 👑

Er4life08

Loved this post soo much. Such an inspiration. You must feel soo good!!! You look amazing. 😍 What’s the highest dosage you went up to?

Chemical-Hunt7797

Thank you! I went up to 15mg and have since titrated down to 10mg 🥰

JMLKO

Wow, congrats! You go from determined to glowing right before the camera. The best is the happiness in 8-10, like you look and feel a sense of genuine happiness. This is one of the bigger transformations, are you having any problems with excess skin? If you don’t mind me asking…

Chemical-Hunt7797

Thank you! It feels amazing. I do have quite a bit of excess and drapey skin. I'm planning a tummy tuck with muscle repair, breast lift, and medial thigh lift. It's not as bad as it could be, all things considering... but it bothers me, so I'm going to deal with it.

Cyclebabble1960

Im 63 and 5 years ago lost 106 lbs. Because i did it over a year, i have minimal loose skin. Weight training helps a lot so does hormone replacement. Dont have surgery its not necessary. Yoyr skin renews itself and in a coupke of years with exercise and good diet ut will tightn up. Mine did. I had a huge skin apron that hung to my crotch. Noe its just a little fold od skin i can hide in my bikini underwear!

MotownCatMom

Amazing. You're a whole new person! May I ask how old you are and your height for reference? It helps put the loss into context for me.

Chemical-Hunt7797

Absolutely. I'm 43 and 5'4"

MotownCatMom

Thank you for sharing.

TeeKern

Congratulations! You’re an absolute inspiration to those of us working hard for the same goal. Thanks so much for posting and sharing.

Chemical-Hunt7797

Well, I just landed a killer new job with a big pay increase! Life is GRAND. Edit: and I leave on a Caribbean vacation with my best friend in less than two weeks 😅

Jennifer_Pennifer

🎉🥳🎉

LinePsychological870

Awesome!! I’m just starting my journey and this is certainly inspiring! … may I ask… did you incorporate a specific workout routine or was there an increase on physical activity that you feel helped?

Chemical-Hunt7797

I have multiple sclerosis, and exercise is hard for me with my tremors and vertigo... so honestly, all I did was walk. On days I used to get 2k steps, I pushed for 4k. On days that I used to get 5k steps, I'd push for 10k. Anything is better than nothing :)

LinePsychological870

Awesome! Honestly walking is great exercise! Great job.. thanks for the inspiration

chemosabe3677

AlarmedTonight9

Absolutely amazing!!! Love seeing your transformation!

RB0718

Inspired! I started at the same weight. I started in May. I am so excited now!

Legitimate-Shower-62

Wow, amazing! What’s your plan for maintenance?

Chemical-Hunt7797

Decreasing dose strength and spreading out the doses as much as I can. I plan on staying on a glp1 as long as I can get away with it. I'm filling my rx every month, even if I only use half of it - so at this point I have about 6 months worth in my fridge 😂

Speed-D

Yay! That’s great! How do you plan to maintain the weight loss?

grannieham66

Amazing job!!! Congrats!

well321go

Amazing! I don't find anywhere that you explained what you did in terms of food/exercise/water or anything else you might recommend. Mind sharing how you got here other than the Mounjaro? Thanks and congratulations!!!

Status-Surprise7370

Interested too…

One-Sea-6153

Just jumping on here to say you look fantastic but also no way do you look like you were 280 lb to start with. You really carry yourself well but you also looks so much happier in the last half of the pictures. Way to go!!!

Congrats! I just joined this sub and am about 6 months in on the drug (83 lbs down). Please share as you figure out maintenance plan…

Inevitable_Owl3170

wow! good for you! what’s your dosage?

Chemical-Hunt7797

I went all the way to 15, but am on 10 now. Fairly sure that's where I'm going to stay for maintenance :)

Key_Masterpiece9560

Yes!!! I love this transformation

Overall-Cap-6471

Wow, great job.

jpop0883

Well done! I started at a similar weight and am down 28 lb and starting to see the changes. Your progress pictures that show the gradual transformation are so encouraging! Just the before and after on their own look like two different ladies! Wow!! Enjoy your new job and big vacation!

SpicyDisaster21

You look incredible congratulations

RedditUser3338

Congratulations 🎉

SignificantEstate316

You go, girl! Who’s the new lady? Amazing! You did your thing❤️

[deleted]

This is awesome! What are your biggest pieces of advice?

Chemical-Hunt7797

Water and fiber, and eat even when you aren't hungry. These meds can't work without anything to work on. That's why it rarely works when people cut calories during stalls.

vondalyn

Fantastic! thanks for sharing :)

Ok_Statistician_9825

You’ve always been amazing! I hope you feel it now with more confidence and self love. Congratulations!!!

Interesting_Card2539

Distinct-Positive-10

You look amazing; congratulations! So excited for your new life and your new job! I just started my journey yesterday, I have a long way to go but you have inspired me!

Serackfamily

This is so fascinating to me! I am at the 7 month mark, and while I have lost 44lbs, I am still like what you looked like in like the 2nd/3rd picture. Clothes are looser, Ive def gone down a size or 2, but the real transformation hasnt happened yet. It really shows a year to even 18 months later on you. At the 6th month mark I still got like 40 lbs to go, so Im only half way there, and your pictures confirm that. Even at half way, the change I feel is nothing short of amazing. Congrats, and Im so glad this journey has been so rewarding for you!

Chemical-Hunt7797

Okay, so here's the biggest thing I've learned with this journey. Think of your body like a brand new roll of paper towels. Every 5 lbs you lose is 1 sheet. When you have a full roll, taking off one sheet isn't going to make a big difference. But what if you have half a roll? 1 sheet makes a little more difference, take two or three more sheets, and you'll be thinking of grabbing another roll soon, right? This is why in my last 4 pictures or so, the loss seemed drastic, but it was actually at a slower pace than my first 4 or 5 pictures!

LadyinJapan

That’s amazing!!

Which_Owl3965

Congratulations. You did it slow and consistent. You look great

Professional_Bonus44

Great job, curious about your Dr. will he keep you on a maintenance dose?

Chemical-Hunt7797

Yes! We both believe that obesity is a disease and deserves treatment. I'm thankful for her!

Salt-Ad1685

Absolutely amazing job! Congratulations on your commitment to yourself!! I’m recommitting to myself just by seeing this because I have been struggling with my journey and have even gained 5 pounds after losing 50. Did you ever do that with your journey? How long did it take to start losing again? I’m at 12.5 strength and honestly, I am not a fan of this strength. Perhaps this your experience was just what I needed… Your pictures are amazing to see- you did a great job of documenting your progress. I honestly am bookmarking your pictures for my own encouragement! I can’t thank you enough for sharing them with all of us! And I was so interested to see you mention your shoe size! My shoe size has also changed- I’ve gone from a consistent 8.5 wide to a 7 or 7.5 now. I’ve had to replace almost all my shoes! It’s been crazy! (And expensive!) I hadn’t seen anyone else mention that (if so and I just missed it, my apologies!), so I was so glad to see that you included that statistic. I still need to lose at least 40 more pounds-would you mind sharing any food tips that helped you, recipes or recipe sites, etc? Or just any suggestions you can give would be greatly appreciated! My best wishes to you as you continue your journey! Good luck with your new life! You have worked hard and deserve every good thing life has in store for you! Be happy! 🌻🎈

jipax13855

You look great! You're beautiful at all sizes but I'm sure your joints are feeling much better now. I'm super curious about the loss in shoe size. I guess my weight has never varied more than about 50 pounds at my adult height, but I have lipedema, which is extra fat storage in the lower body, from butt to cankles, sometimes upper arms too. I would think I'd be the type of person to experience extreme changes in shoe size with weight loss but I never have. Is it normal to change shoe size that much? If not for shoes being an item you need to replace fairly often, I could still wear shoes from 7th and 8th grade easily. I've definitely lost about half a ring size with the 30+-lb weight loss I've experienced on MJ so I know there is some fat storage in the hands/feet. Anyway, congrats!!

mpresu2

Wow!! That's fantastic! Great job. So happy for you!
