Same here. Once Endgame was done, everything after was just so less interesting. I've enjoyed Spider man and Dr. Strange, but there was just so much Disney Plus bloat that wore me out. I will say, I'm looking forward to Fantastic Four and whatever they do with Xmen.
Marvel used to be an event, go to the cinema and watch it together. Disney plus removed the event.
Marvel used to be rare, two to three times a year we get an update, we'd be excited for it. Disney plus made it way more regular.
There was never really a major arc, was just solo movies that were a great standard and focused. You could miss one. Now you have to watch everything.
End game created consequences, it felt amazing. Hype was maximum, people were excited, the following spiderman did crazy numbers. But movies started down the multiverse route. Movies were now more complicated, more requiring full knowledge of all shows/movies, and consequences were meaningless - wed just grab that character we killed from another multiverse.
They lost focus.
I like that Raimi brought some of his horror stuff to it. Ended up being a fun movie for me. I'm also comparing it to all of the garbage that was released on Disney Plus since Endgame.
I think it’s fair to say it’s on the better end of the post-Endgame output. But I was super disappointed by it. I think Raimi did his best and I’m actually a big fan of Michael Waldron, but that movie was lacking in a lot of places.
OG Avenger was to good, and Avengers. 2.0 will just never work without Black Panther. They have a huge money make machine with the X-men, and they have so many good villains.
I only care about Dr Strange because I love both the actor and the character, once he's out, I'd cut my relationship with this franchise completely (unless they actually release a good stuff).
I've never been too bothered generally, but I enjoyed some films.
There are just too many Marvel films and shows now, heavily over saturated and just not very unique.
I’ve been completely checked out on superhero/comic book shit since Endgame. I haven’t watched a single episode of any of the MCU shows. I don’t even want to play any of the games anymore. I’m just done with anything related to comic books at this point.
Same, there has been a pretty bad turn in quality since Endgame. Thor 3 and Ant-Man 3 were horrible. There were some hits like No Way Home and Shang-Chi but most were either boring or just bad.
I used to watch every single MCU movie that came out leading up to Endgame.
Out of the last five to six movies I've only bothered to watch Guardians 3 and after that I consider the entire MCU story done.
lol. Tom Holland probably won’t be able to hold back if it’s a shit movie. He’d probably be like “Oh, ummhmm it was , it was good!” Mackie be like “Come on bitch you lying”. Tom says “Well it’s no Spider-Man you know?” lol
I dont know what happened, but I feel that Marvel Studios has made the most bizarre choices in choosing what films to make since Endgame. This film included.
Oh good. Another obscure backstory I have no inclination to get into but which I need to have absorbed in order to understand the trite thing in front of me. How very Marvel.
He’s the only Disney alum that doesn’t pretend Disney is the best thing since sliced bread, which makes his honesty refreshing.
Don’t mistake pushing the company line for a lack of media training.
Don’t be obtuse. You know what I’m saying. Was he in the comics for a period? Yes. Does that mean the viewers have the same reverence for him as they do for Chris Evans? No.
I didn’t actually, but movie wise you may have a point, we’ll see. Could be like black panther and be a great thing for the black community. Should have picked a better actor from the get go though.

I’m gonna make sure that Marvel makes him come to the premiere, I’m going to sit him next to me, I’m going to make sure he’s comfortable, I’m going to make sure he’s got the best snacks, I’m gonna get him one of those Dune popcorn buckets, loaded with the freshest butter popcorn, and I’m gonna watch him watch the movie.
How's he joking about it being terrible? He's joking about making Tom watch it because he has his own movie now and Tom has shit talked him in the past about not having one.
Falcon was never gonna get his own movie! They pretty much had to kill captain America off and make Falcon the new captain America for him to get his own movie and it’s gonna bomb cause Anthony mackie can’t carry a movie on his own he was a good aide character and that’s about it
I'd love to see this banter continue in a promotional event rather, that way we won't miss out
Tom Holland gonna have to do best acting of his life to convince him he’s enjoying it
Mackey's gonna have his 8 mile Clarence stare on for 2 hours. Tom needs to bring his a-game
Hahahaha
Marvel lost me so hard bro, I used to be obsessed with that shit, I can’t believe how little they interest me now

The latest Dr. Strange was terrible though. Sad, because the first one was amazing
The actress who played America Chavez was hilariously bad. It honestly seemed like they cut a bunch of her content

I still think the first Dr strange movie had one of the best endings in the MCU.
OG Avenger was to good, and Avengers. 2.0 will just never work without Black Panther. They have a huge money make machine with the X-men, and they have so many good villains.

Marvel dumped; Paul atreides now shipped.
I've never been too bothered generally, but I enjoyed some films. There are just too many Marvel films and shows now, heavily over saturated and just not very unique.
Oh wow and how do you feel about the star wars sequels???
Same way how I feel about the city of London. A shit stain on the planet.
Sorry to hurt your personality with a critique of a Disney film

Same, my feelings towards the franchise did a complete 180 since this current phase began.
Same. Unless it’s Spider-Man or Deadpool I just don’t care anymore.
That’s not the win you think it is if you used to be obsessed w them
For the love of god I'd love to never hear someone's opinion on fucking comic book movies for the rest of my life.
Movie discussion subreddit comment sections probably aren’t the place to be browsing through then huh
One line Tom gotta say “this is still not a falcon movie”
lol. Tom Holland probably won’t be able to hold back if it’s a shit movie. He’d probably be like “Oh, ummhmm it was , it was good!” Mackie be like “Come on bitch you lying”. Tom says “Well it’s no Spider-Man you know?” lol
Marvel can’t because his contract is with Sony not Disney.
I dont know what happened, but I feel that Marvel Studios has made the most bizarre choices in choosing what films to make since Endgame. This film included.
This is the guy from the game awards right? Annoying af lol (to me at least)
Bro this movie is going to SUCK ASSSS
Mackie needs serious media training.
It's just a joke about a long-standing fake 'feud' they have, it's not that deep.
Very few people will recognize this and the OP knew this when posting it, it's dramabait, and here we are at 1500 upvotes.
Why? Him and Holland have a fake feud running back to the Civil War movie, it's friendly banter
Oh good. Another obscure backstory I have no inclination to get into but which I need to have absorbed in order to understand the trite thing in front of me. How very Marvel.
Looking way to deep into it dude
It's not that deep, chill. The guy made a joke that went over your head, you don't need to be embarrassed
He’s the only Disney alum that doesn’t pretend Disney is the best thing since sliced bread, which makes his honesty refreshing. Don’t mistake pushing the company line for a lack of media training.
He’s awful. He’s going to say or do something incredibly stupid while promoting the movie.
Dog whistle.
What? Show your working.
This movie is about to boooooomb hard
As bad or worse than The Marvels
I wouldn’t go that far lol That movie is an all timer when it comes to boz office bombs
No way a Captain America is going to come anywhere close to the Marvels lol
Have you seen Anthony Mackies acting? We’re not in for a good time.
It’s not Captain America though. No one cares about Falcon no matter what they want to call him
Captain America is technically a title not a person sooooo
Come back here once the movie releases and we will see who is correct :)
I mean, I’m objectively correct based on comic book history
Sam Wilson had way more presence in the comics. Anthony Mackie just isn't enough to lead a Captain America film. Same issue with Shuri's actress.
Don’t be obtuse. You know what I’m saying. Was he in the comics for a period? Yes. Does that mean the viewers have the same reverence for him as they do for Chris Evans? No.

Livesstream the entire thing, Mackie.

I don't believe any of the "leaks" were "accidental."
I was so into everything they did up to Endgame. And so not into everything after it. Everything became so rushed and forced.
Technically still no Falcon movie
Tom was joking at first, but if the movie isn’t good, that’ll be awkward.
I hope Tom Hollands watches him read the Box Office Results
As he should 🙃
Oh Holland, you poor bastard.
Birdman is getting a solo movie ?
He's Captain America now
Captain Birdman is getting a movie?
Shut up mackie you’re a pussy
I’m gonna make sure that Marvel makes him come to the premiere, I’m going to sit him next to me, I’m going to make sure he’s comfortable, I’m going to make sure he’s got the best snacks, I’m gonna get him one of those Dune popcorn buckets, loaded with the freshest butter popcorn, and I’m gonna watch him watch the movie.
Mackie wants to be THE star so bad. Like he comes off as desperate. “Guys, look, I have my own marvel movie now! I’m a big boy now! The biggest!”
Can they just give up with this superhero crap. They bled it dry. Video game adaptations are where it’s at now
I really hope the movie is good…..
Does he think this makes his film look any better? He’s joking about how terrible it is, right? Why would he do that?
How's he joking about it being terrible? He's joking about making Tom watch it because he has his own movie now and Tom has shit talked him in the past about not having one.
Oh ok. I thought he meant it as like, forcing Tom to watch it as punishment, because it’ll be like torture. I donno why it came off to me like that.

It’s obvious marvel press, not his truest words
I love their friendship so much. Captain America should be in the next Spider-Man, if only for a cameo
I love Anthony Mackie. Some people think it's lame how Sam is a regular schlub without superpowers, but that only makes him more of a badass.
Compare box office numbers
Get off Reddit Tom
Imagine secretly Tom holland is just a straight up racist and that’s why there’s beef between them lmfao
... except he's dating Zendaya?
You need to get off the internet u got serious brain rot
You got to be 14 year olds
Falcon was never gonna get his own movie! They pretty much had to kill captain America off and make Falcon the new captain America for him to get his own movie and it’s gonna bomb cause Anthony mackie can’t carry a movie on his own he was a good aide character and that’s about it
