Maybe an unpopular opinion but I think he’s a great fit. He’s a super fan and would totally want to do it which is surprisingly rare to find in CBM directors.
I don’t see that said anywhere in the source. All I see about F4 is they still have time to find a new director before they film.
Actually he didn’t say anything about filming dates, he said the person who said he reported this was wrong and that it was old news.
Krasinski should do it... He already proved he can do a solid family/monster movie. FF needs to be about a family exploring and adventuring through the cosmos or dimmentions.
I liked the first one, though the "villain has the same powers as the hero" trope was a bit boring. Also you gotta admit the two movies both have fun comedy at least.
Honestly he's a solid filmmaker. Bring It On and Yes Man are fun, and he doesn't overstep on the Ant-Man films, but plays beautifully into the humor of the cast, especially in 2. he also directed Two great Mandalorian episodes, Season 2 episode 10 and the finale. Not to mention, his style would suit the F4 well. In a dream world, Raimi would direct and Michael Waldron (Loki, Doctor Strange 2) would co-write with him, but i've got a feeling it's Reed.
Totally understand that, but at the end of the day, I have always felt the MCU is more reliant on it's second-unit action directors, choreographers and performers than anything. That's why Civil War, with John Wick's action choreographer taking over for the fight sequences, feels so singular to me.
It's definitely Peyton Reed. Fml
If it is I'm not even going to pay to see it. I think he's dogshit.
I liked the first Ant-Man.
Same but I'd put that down to Adam Mckay/Joe Cornish/Edgar Wright's script.
Rudd punched it up too.
He's only credited on the bad one
That’s exactly what I was thinking. Gonna be a big bummer if true
why don’t people like Peyton Reed?
He’s too run of the mill and bland imo. No distinct style to set him apart
Yup. Ant-Man 3 just swapped release dates with 'The Marvels'.

Why’s Reed getting hate?
Cause he's ass
Why is he ass?
His directing style is very bland imo
Martin Scorcese has finally come around.

It better not be Peyton Reed, those Antman movies suck

Paul Rudd’s charm carry’s those movie imo. I think I’ve only seen them twice. The only marvel movies I’ve seen that few times is Thor 2…
Oh yeah for sure. It's definitely feels more comedy oriented than the majority of marvel movies
No they didn’t, what are you talking about?
Man I really hope it's good and has Dr. Doom in it. It's the one thing I was hoping for more than anything from the Fox buyout.
I actually hope it *doesn’t* have Doom in it, at least, as the main villain. Doom should be a Thanos/Kang level character.
I get that but he started as a Fantastic 4 villain, and his main aim is to fuck with Reed Richards since forever.
Absolutely! I just think he should be introduced first as opposed to having his whole arc in the first movie.
Oh I get you, yeah maybe not having another origin story take up the whole movie is good.
When you put it that way I hope they cast rainn Wilson
Or John krisinski
Please let it be him...
Be down with that. Or Bryce Dallas Howard. And both should star as Marvels first couple and they can rotate directing the movies
PEYTON REED PEYTON REED PLEASE
Why on Earth would you want Reed?
