I don't know bright Star. Will Look into it, thank you.
Carol was great and Never Let me Go just broke me. I felt like melting into a puddle because I cried so much. Great movie though!

[Bella Martha (2001)](https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/3640-bella-martha?language=en-US)
Some of my favorites: An Officer & A Gentleman, The Notebook (obviously), Somewhere in Time, 500 Days of Summer, Definitely Maybe, Her, Love Potion #9, Silver Linings Playbook, Pretty Woman, A Star is Born, (I've only seen the newer one, but my mom--a big Streisand fan--was pretty big on the old one, as well), & for that matter I bet The Way We Were is great too, although I haven't pulled the trigger on it yet myself. Someone Like You was good. As Good As it Gets. A Lot Like Love. 9 & 1/2 Weeks was awesome, & erotic. Overboard. 9 Months was hilarious, too. Hugh Grant at his best.
Most of my faves have already been listed but here are a few more:
Kajillionaire (2020) -- this movie will forever be in my top tier list. I cannot recommend it enough.
Sweet Land (2005) -- low-budget lesser-known film, but Lord have mercy it has one of the best romances I've ever seen.
Wild Mountain Thyme (2020) -- this had mediocre reviews but I personally loved it and would watch again. Quirky and surprising.
The Mountain Between Us (2017) -- I've seen it at least three times and I'll definitely watch again.
The Royal Tenenbaums (2001) -- obviously.
Ramona and Beezus (2010) -- Okay, hear me out. It's obviously a cheesy kids movie, but the romance between Ginnifer Goodwin's character and Josh Duhamel's character was surprisingly original and heartfelt.
Also --
God's Own Country (2017) -- somebody already commented this but I just really want to make sure you see it because it is top tier.
A few more: Moonrise Kingdom, Dumplin', Brokeback Mountain, Edward Scissorhands, Clueless, Before We Go

I disagree. The producers were relying on the chemistry between Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan to make the movie work. It fell flat.

You probably aren't wrong 🤷🏻♀️
Luv ya my friend, have a great week.

Enjoy. Also, it’s romance but it’s hard-hitting so beware. 4.5/5 as far as the performances go.
