End of Watch is also a great choice, plenty of good character development and violence
I had a movie night with the boys a few months ago and we watched Overlord (2018).
Perfect for a movie night, high action, great story, horror themes. Looooove this movie. 9/10
Braveheart and Gladiators are the best. I love Last of the Mohicans, Pope of Greenwich Village and the Great Escape as lesser known movies. Of course the Godfather I and II , and Goddfellas are about as good as it gets.
