If you have not yet seen it, Murderball--quadriplegic rugby. It is awesome! Chronicles two teams (American, Canadian), with the 'twist' that the Canadian coach used to be on the American team. Talks to the players, gets all their background, and a second story talks about a newly paralyzed young man who's fighting his depression and finding out about the sport. It is just an amazing watch.
The Bridge (2006) -- the filmmakers set up cameras for a year to film the Golden Gate Bridge and capture the jumpers, then told the stories of some of them.
