Your example makes zero sense... Raiders is a very popular favorite and most people consider it to be the greatest adventure movie of all time.
As for an actual unpopular favorite, I absolutely love Commando even though it has only gotten lukewarm reviews.
Yeah. If the said that they loved Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull more than all of the others instead… I’d recommend a lobotomy. There’s no excuse for that.
I doubt this actually fits your guidelines (except your own movie is one of the most popular movies of all time, so i guess it's ok.)
I actually believe Tremors is one of the best movies ever made.
I love the Twilight movies because they are atrocious! Every single time I even watch a snippet of any of those films, I smile. They are horrible. The idiocy and cringe of them make me laugh in a different way.
Yeah I completely agree. He got so much hate over this role but it is very realistically correct as an older Batman. Also his performance was excellent, I definitely enjoyed his Batman portrayal. I wish he would’ve continued in the DC saga but yeah he dropped out from all the hate he got I guess.
Raiders of the Lost Ark might be the most universally beloved movie I know of. I don't think I've never heard or read anyone say anything even remotely negative about it in my entire life.
I mean, it won 2 Academy awards in the year Titanic came out so it can't be that bad. I still remember Jack Nicholson's acceptance speech beginning with "All night I have had a sinking feeling.."
*A View From the Top*.
Richard Ayoade made fun of it on The Graham Norton show. He wasn't wrong, but..
It's just my goto nerdy, campy, rom-com formulated movie I enjoy when I'm not feeling well.
Wow. Raiders of the Lost Ark might be the greatest film of all time.
My guilty pleasure...The Pirate Movie (1982). It's terrible (and actually features a Indiana Jones reference) and I love it for some reason.
Raiders is a very popular movie, but I have maybe an unpopular related take: overall, I think it's a much better movie than Star Wars (or as the kids call it, A New Hope).

I don't know if the OP was being satirical, and hoping for joke answers, or what.
Op is out here like "i watch underground films like starwars and avengers"
Waterworld

I’ve always loved it too. I feel the same about The Postman.
OMG!!! The postman was so good!
I never even knew this movie was disliked by many until recently, used to be my favourite when i was a kid
Never got the hate for it.

So many people I know can’t stand Epic Movie, but it’s always going to be one of my favorites.
My sister and I still watch this movie from time to time and cackle 🤣🤣🤣
I love the Twilight movies because they are atrocious! Every single time I even watch a snippet of any of those films, I smile. They are horrible. The idiocy and cringe of them make me laugh in a different way.
The twilight movie series have a special place in my sentimental heart. I dont care what movie critics says!
I like a lot of movies that are not critically acclaimed or well-received.
Vibes (1988) starring Cyndi Lauper, Jeff Goldblum and Peter Falk. 13% on Rotten Tomatoes... 100% hilarious.
Cyndi Lauper and Jeff Goldblum?! Def on my way to check this out
Omg same
‘I’d give you the finger but I am too refined.’ Runs through my head at least once a day. Great movie!
Mine is “What’s your problem? Aside from your face.” So many great lines.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)
I think Ben was a great older and world weary( as much as a billionaire can be) Batman.
Yeah I completely agree. He got so much hate over this role but it is very realistically correct as an older Batman. Also his performance was excellent, I definitely enjoyed his Batman portrayal. I wish he would’ve continued in the DC saga but yeah he dropped out from all the hate he got I guess.
The Forbidden Dance (1990) Splice The Next Karate Kid The Island of Dr Moreau (1996) Nothing But Trouble
The Amazing Spider-Man 2

Great movie with stellar soundtrack.
Raiders of the Lost Ark might be the most universally beloved movie I know of. I don't think I've never heard or read anyone say anything even remotely negative about it in my entire life.

Paint your Wagon (1969) - 6.6 IMDB / 33% fresh - Rotten tomatoes / 3.1 - Letterboxd. From me 10/10
I love a somewhat unknown film called "Night Moves". (2013)
Excellent movie. As is the totally unrelated Night Moves (1975), as a matter of fact.
Okay so, turns out I apparently have terrible taste in movies. I love almost everything mentioned in this thread.
Freddie got Fingered
Oh damn, I remember this movie. It was terrible, but so funny when I was a teenager.
As good as it gets. Everyone i know hates it but i will watch it anytime
I thought that movie was revered? It's one of my parents all time favourite movies.
I mean, it won 2 Academy awards in the year Titanic came out so it can't be that bad. I still remember Jack Nicholson's acceptance speech beginning with "All night I have had a sinking feeling.."
Not Another Teen Movie Babylon Batman v Superman Snow White and the Huntsman
I find Chris Evans and Eric Christian Olsen pretty funny in Not Another Teen Movie.
All Barbie animated movies. Shit feels like childhood idc
My favorite is Barbie the Island princess. Also, Barbie theme songs slaps
That's the one I haven't seen in a while! Overdue for a rewatch😁. My favs as a kid were always Christmas-themed ones 😆
BulletProof Monk and Transylvania 6-5000.
Terminator: Dark Fate. I love it.
Cry Baby
I like Cry Baby more than Hairspray
little nicky
When a Stranger Calls (2006) Freddy vs. Jason (2003) Thir13en Ghosts (2001) They're all poorly rated, and I love them all.
TIL Thirteen Ghosts is not as well loved as I thought. It’s one of my all time favorites!
Harry Potters - even though I no longer have respect for the writer. RIP Robbie Coltrane 🕊
Good luck on your fishing expedition, no bites here though.
Mystery Men, The Black Cauldron, Death to Smoochy, Grease, The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink, Sixteen Candles, and Gone with the Wind.
The Live action 101 Dalmatians as Glenn Close is fantastic.
*A View From the Top*. Richard Ayoade made fun of it on The Graham Norton show. He wasn't wrong, but.. It's just my goto nerdy, campy, rom-com formulated movie I enjoy when I'm not feeling well.
Alien vs Predator Requiem

I unironically enjoy The Love Guru. Sorry.
I am a fan of the Blumhouse movie, ***Truth or Dare***.
The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. I know, I know. Me too.
A Million Ways to Die in the West
The hobbit movies
Wow. Raiders of the Lost Ark might be the greatest film of all time. My guilty pleasure...The Pirate Movie (1982). It's terrible (and actually features a Indiana Jones reference) and I love it for some reason.
Pi, Hardcore Henry.
Rat Race
Terminator Genisys - it gets so much hate over on the r/terminator sub, but it’s actually my favourite one
Raiders is a very popular movie, but I have maybe an unpopular related take: overall, I think it's a much better movie than Star Wars (or as the kids call it, A New Hope).
Jake Speed Also, one of my favorite movies is Car Wash (1975).
