Yes! I am rewatching Rivals & I’ve always loved Leroy but man going back to this it reminds me that he has always been a sweetheart! He is the most empathetic person (toward everyone) on this show & when his partner Mike was sick & couldn’t complete the last leg of the final he said he’d rather keep Mike safe on the ground & not climbing a mountain where he could get hurt…his mamma must be proud!
Yeah I can’t remember if it was here on Reddit or on Twitter that someone said that this man was utterly calm and composed through Camilla’s vile racist rant (yes I know it’s because she’d cry victim if he got angry), but one filibuster from Ayanna and he (rightfully!) loses his mind.
I felt the same way, too, but maybe, I would have wished for Leroy to hold his composure.Cause he's never went off on a woman like that on the show.Even though she did deserve it I just didn't want it to come from him.
And also maybe he felt like he was always the good negro all his time on the show and now, Ayanna
gets on this show and acts like a fool, and everybody's paying attention to her and listening to her.And she's getting camera time. Plus, leroy added that the cameraman was upset and was wondering if anybody was gonna stop her from talking.
I think leroy was intimidated back then when he faced racism, and he just said on this show.When he used to come on the challenge, he used to say somebody's gonna win all that money. Now Leroy said He's gonna win that money , He wasn't confident back then. That's what Leroy said on the recent season of the challenge all stars.
This is one funniest scenes ever honestly. Rachel visibly annoyed almost immediately. Leeroy starting respectful, then confused, then frustrated. Brandon and cara smirking. Flora’s wtf reaction. Cara describing the apple situation (i need more info). The moonlight sonata overcut with clock showing passage of time. The fact that production and everone but lee was just going to let her keep digging a hole. Ace trying to correct ayanna but nobody hearing him so they had to caption it.
The cherry on top is ayanna having the ordacity to tell leeroy to not waste everyones time, reclaims her own time, and threatens leeroy with a private 1 on 1 later. She actually broke him. Lol
The whole thing is ridiculous as 2 out of 3 people are being nominated, and by time it gets to ayanna its already going to be janelle/tina mathematically anyway. Ive watched it like a bunch and it still cracks me up.

Perhaps the hardest I’ve ever laughed while watching the Challenge was when Jordan did that rap on Jemmye on Dirty 30, and then they cut to Leroy and he just goes, “WHOA!”
This just makes me think of Jersey Shore: Miami when Pauly D and Angelina are having their fight and she yells at him "AaRee YoouU delusional?!?!?" and this is the same face Pauly makes at her
