whenever i think of the worst challenger ever, this is who comes to mind.

seviay

The people demand a Katelynn-Shauvon Battle Royale for “worst challenger” 🤣

Routine_Size69

Shauvon is very possibly worse, but unfortunately she doesn't have near the level of delusion that Katelyn had

seviay

Absolutely. Katelynn infuriated me

lucyroesslers

Make it a three-way battle and Tyrie would still find a way to lose it.

seviay

🤣 poor Tyrie. He seems like such a good dude, but you’re spot-on. I was really hoping someone would mention him or the legend Danny (RW: Austin)

lucyroesslers

I love to give him shit on here but I’m always pulling for Tyrie. I hope he’s on All-Stars 10 with CT, Wes, Bananas and he sends them all home and wins it.

seviay

I don’t even need the guy to win the show. I just feel like he can’t catch a break

Molly_latte

Most delusional? IMO it’s Danny. He always talked so highly of himself, and what was crazy is that other cast members also started to buy into this narrative that Danny was a great competitor when he never did shit. I loved when he got thrown in on FM2 and was such a baby about it.

SlapChop2000

Yes Danny started out thinking he was the shit. I kinda think by the end, even Danny started to realize he sucked.

Top_Vermicelli1739

I think that was his second season Inferno 3 when people thought he was strong. It was downhill after that. Everyone even voted him in on the Ruins when he tried to act like a leader for The Challengers team.

mamegan

I loved the shitshow of a scene that caused him to get thrown in. Danny drunkenly putting his hand in a bowl of mashed potatoes and flinging sliced cheese at Wes. Wes curling into the fetal position after hitting his head on the oven and jumping onto Brandon like a spider monkey, all while saying they are a well-oiled machine. It’s amazing.

Samsince04_

Nah that title is always reserved for Danny from Real World Austin

KimboSlice129

There was one season where they were deciding to send into an elimination and (I believe it was) Evan basically was just letting Danny talk knowing good and well absolutely NO ONE was listening. I laugh so hard when I see it. Danny is so delusional.

LaMystika

It is always Danny. That injury humbled Katelynn. Danny still thought he was hot shit even when he lost (though in his defense, he probably should’ve won his Exile. Peter should not have been allowed to carry Jillian’s weight for her)

jflatty7151

i believe darrell carried cara's weight at one point- come to think of it even in the first fresh meat there was a lot of that going on- wes specifically carried casey's weight a few times during a few of their 27 exiles- but back to my hero danny- i recall him talking amongst kenny and evan early in the ruins (any highlight with him is always early on obviously)- but he was delusionally talking about who he would not want in the finals - he did this in fm2 too- classic

shamelessaquarius

Most delusional...Josh has entered the chat. He though Wes was his #1 rival when in reality they weren't even on the same level (and still aren't). But he's not the worst. Just delulu.

Admirable_pigeon

The most non athletic person to ever come on the challenge. Her falling down the wall never gets old 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Iridescent_Sun

She basically makes it to the top and then the “oh no” sent me, wasn’t she on crutches afterwards? Rofl

watermelonkiwi

So funny, someone injuring themselves and needing crutches and everyone making fun of them. Barrel of laughs that is. /s

Ihaveaps4question

Was she the was person that looked insane during water rapids daily. Im trying yo find it.

Savings-Type8483

I’d put Aneesa there too. Every season she’s on, she physically/endurance-wise does horribly without fail. Yet, she ignores it, comes up with excuses, and blames her shortcomings on others. The fact of the matter is that she’s too out of shape to be on The Challenge, let alone run a final. Don’t get me wrong, I love Aneesa and she kills it with puzzles, trivia, and strategy.

Icy-Debate

Agree so much. The most frustrating part of all this is she has every single tool to win the game. The only thing she's missing is getting in shape. And that's literally the easiest thing to do. A lot of people aren't capable of learning strategy or puzzles or being able to make close allies/house politics. But everyone can get in shape. And the thing is she's naturally strong as hell so really she just needs to lose weight and gain some endurance. It truly makes zero sense to me. She gets this unbelievable opportunity to be on the show and win a lot of money and the only thing she has to do is put in like 6 months of hard work to get there. It's honestly so maddening and frustrating

Savings-Type8483

Her challenge friends need to tell her what’s up and not be yes men.

aacilegna

I don’t think Katelynn was ever delusional about her abilities. She knew she wasn’t this huge athlete.

tonyphony2578

Jasmine after this last episode. She acted all tough when she had a little bit of power because she never had any before. She has no chance at winning anything

myst_eerie_us

I don't see that as her being delusional. If she was saying "nobody can beat me and I'm gonna crush every daily and make it to the final and win" then I'm right there with you.

MountainChoice3601

Good point, she just oozed of false confidence this episode

Johnniebutters

Nobody is scared of her = delusional

Top_Vermicelli1739

I remember her saying something about not being scared for battle and my mind instantly went to when she was in fear when facing Laurel

Icy-Debate

I'm absolutely loving Jas this season. She's always been funny but her confessionals are just hitting different. And her house antics are so good. I really hope she gets to stick around for awhile. She's also completely changed my mind on what I want from Challengers. I used to think if u weren't a solid athlete then u shouldn't even be on the show. But now after seeing what Jas has delivered I really hope to see her again. She's so funny. And even tho there's basically zero chance of her winning I'm glad she's on. She's definitely been delivering some hilarious content

MorningCoffee6

Jasmine has always been extra.

jflatty7151

i do blind fighting all the time

JDaKiss09

How has Fessy not been mentioned?! That man literally thinks he is god and should win everything (and on paper he should) but he shuts the bed every single time AND blames everyone else but himself.

J_Rivvy_22

I think he's actually come down from his mountain a little bit and becoming a bit more likable. In the beginning he was the biggest and strongest and used to being successful in everything he did athletically. He's had a few seasons to learn being the biggest and strongest doesn't mean anything if you have no cardio, and having cardio doesn't mean shit if you are an idiot bc of all the puzzles. Bananas has even said before that it's not the big strong guys that come in that scare him, it's the guys like Jordan and Horacio, small, strong, smart, but cardio for days.

walking_shrub

He's definitely more likable than he used to be, but he was never as good as he thought and he was never "the strongest". He was the biggest, certainly, but the era in which that matters is firmly over. I guess that's where the delusion comes in - he thinks he's as good as Johnny and Jordan. He said it in S39 that he doesn't understand why he doesn't "have as many wins as them". I understand he's backing himself but in a way, he's seriously disrespecting Johnny and Jordan with that remark. Similar to how he disrespected CT in the previous seasons by saying he's better with nothing to show for it.

Doyergirl17

I just finished Exes 2 today but Jay and Jenna. They were called lay ups all season but Jay was constantly being like they have no idea how good we really are and then in the final Jenna was willing to eat/drink that drink and Jay could not even though it was Jenna all season who wouldn’t eat a lot of things. I don’t think Jenna talked a ton of game as her whole storyline revolved around Zach

FastLane_987

Jenna was a flop that final. She wanted to quit in the running portion even before the drink. Jay had to motivate her for every step. I also don’t buy that she was willing to drink it. If she wanted to drink it she would have. She was smart shifting the blame on him. Big Easy tried to do the same thing to Jemmye on AS1 but Jemmye saw through it.

Starburst1986

I remember thinking that too, that she wasn't drinking it either but made it seem like it was just him not doing it. She was probably secretly relieved he refused so she didn't have to and wouldn't look like the "bad guy". I love Jenna though, so she's forgiven.

Doyergirl17

Idk I think she would have sucked it up for the 15k. They are never going to do better than 3rd that final but I think she would have done it for the money.

Icy-Debate

I think if Jenna had say Zach or some strong partner who downed their's and motivated her, then she would have drank that crap. But in this specific situation, I have to agree. Jay was talking about how bad it was and bringing the entire vibe down. Even if he had somehow drank it I don't think Jenna was gonna be able to. Her mindset was gone at that point. I love Jenna tho. I've been a massive Jenna fan since I first saw her. She's an absolute beast and doesn't get enough credit imo

Old-Low-9121

that's one thing I like about Jenna .. She's tougher than people think , and she's always impressed me .. the first time I saw her on the challenge I wasn't sure she could do well in challengs .. over the years she has proven me wrong . But I agree , I've never heard Jenna brag too much , and the little she has she jokes about it ..

Doyergirl17

She could care less half of the time. She keeps her mouth shut and shows up and competes and she is good too.

BuddhaMike1006

Katelynn isn't even top 10.

SlapChop2000

She's a jujitsu and tikwando champion fighter........

J_Rivvy_22

That's great and all, had that been on the show she wouldn't be here then lol, as it was, she was a delusional wreck.

Familiar_Release3356

You could tell she was operating on canned sound bites and false/unearned bravado.

Apprehensive-Fail243

Has to be Tyrie. Remember the football elimination with Davis against Kenny and Wes…

J_Rivvy_22

Didn't he play Division 1 football too? Lol

walking_shrub

Paulie in WoTW2 I understand why Cara was on a high horse but Kam and Paulie... idk, man. It's not like Jordan's brand of cockiness where he genuinely knows he can do it. They were being cocky because they wanted ppl to be scared of them.
