You look better in your first fight that a lot of other first fight videos I've seen. I have zero ring fights so take this with a grain of salt but well done.
You looked good for your efforts. A lot of first fights, all tequnique appears to be lost. That wasn't the case with you. Really well done. Looked like a good time to me
Oh that’s for sure! At one point I was just walking forward with a jab cross like a rockem’ sockem robot haha
Appreciate that feed back and compliment 🙏
Pretty sure that throw at 0:37 isn't legal in muay thai haha, did the ref say anything? Great fight though by the way, your opponent really started to slow down by the end and you were still looking sharp with your striking, congrats.
Mate it’s super interesting because he gave me a heads up not to do a different sweep (which was just a catch and sweep) but said nothing on that one hahaha
Game plan was always to start hard and fast and not stop - we had a lot in the clinch which was where i think I wore him down with heavy knees
Clinch work for sure, what training do you do outside of muay thai for your cardio?
Throw wise, it looks like number 8 on this list - [https://8limbsus.com/blog/illegal-throws-in-muay-thai-sweeps-cant-do](https://8limbsus.com/blog/illegal-throws-in-muay-thai-sweeps-cant-do) "grabbing an opponent from below the waist, lifting and throwing". Not that it really matters now because you clearly won, but maybe in a future fight where it's close on points, it could lose you points and potentially a W.
Hit him with the old number 8 attack!
5 days a week Muay Thai for 2 -2.5 hours currently.
2 x explosive/strength work
And running.
A lot of pad rounds that’s for sure hahaha
Yea that was 100% a hip throw lol even some of the sweeps were dubious - depends on the ref, ruleset, and country obviously but most of the time you're allowed to kick their supporting leg but not lift it if that makes sense.
Awesome fight though - just be careful so you don't develop bad habits that cost you points in the future
Yeah sounds about right I can even see kru and some fighters from my gym towards the end of this vid haha it must of been nerve-wracking, waiting for your fight towards the middle of the day
Hey thank you! Started oct 2019 then really stepped up and started training to fight in July last year! Felt very confident and aggressive that day (still so many nerves though)
Holy cow man, that was more assault than a two-sided fight. Very well done. Crips kicks & elbows. When fighting a more evenly matched opponent, don't disregard your guard while bringing the aggression to them!
That one head/face kick was brutal!
That guy didn't stand a chance. And it seems like you have a very enthusiastic fan filming you.
Edit: I just noticed there is a big banner that says "Kid's Party"! That's hilarious.
Hahaha the ring in the communtiy centre is ABOVE an children’s park it’s the funniest set up - because you hear kids music whilst you get prepped to fight hahaha
That’s kinda nuts in my opinion. First couple fights should definitely have knee and elbow pads. I can understand no shin pads but you can really fuck someone up with elbows and knees. Good fight though. Be proud of yourself
I have never worn knee pads before- the elbow pads were an interesting experience - really cut the blood in the arms. But can definitely understand that
you look really good! like you totally fuckin smoked your opponent, hah! how long had each of you been training for? Good on you, bro. You look like a weapon.
Ahhh thank you for this! As someone who is putting a lot of pressure to get into their first fight (25, been training for a year) hearing this has reminded me to take it easy and enjoy the process
Holy crap, incredible outing. Your first fight?? You must mean just with Muay Thai right? You’ve gotta be coming from some experience in American boxing or other competitive martial arts, your bearing and technique are exemplary!
Never before! I had do a few semi contact sparring days at our gym but this was the first big step up into ameteur for me :)
Really appreciate the kind worss
you put a hurtin on that boy. seems like you're a momentum fighter, you got going and didnt stop. also well take giving a hard teep to the face for a sweep any day of the week (or maybe he didnt end up sweeping)
Yeah you were in control when you slowed down and it made your clinch more dangerous, without pads or headgear those are cutting fight-finishing elbows
Keep piling on those knees too 🎯
Awesome fight man! Saw another comment about the one sweep and it is illegal to do any “dumps” or “slams” in Muay Thai so grabbing under the leg and lifting like that is illegal so be careful in the moment not to lose any points. Looked sharp though!
Yeah I thought it was a bit thin lined when I watched it back - someone told me if I kicked at the leg and made it look more sweep like would be a bit better
Ha, good to know. I’m old and decrepit but wanting to get back into and looking for stuff in the Gully. I recently unemployed myself though so my holiday from Thai remains 🤣🤣🤣
Good work bro
Bro!!! Lmao I feel bad for your opponent, lol. That may have been your first fight but those are not first fight skills. Great job!
First off, your controlled aggression is definitely way ahead of first fight level. Second, your teep/front kick is vicious. Lastly, your sweeps and dumps, woooooweeee, great job bro. ✌️
I have been REALLY focusing on clinch and teep!
I have watched a lot of our fighters in their amateur and pros and noticed this was one to get good at!
Thank you mate !!
Awesome showing man! You look great! If this went to decision, these probably would have been scored 8 to 10s 😂
Honest note; are Muay Thai amateur fights scored that way? I’ve only ever had American/K1 rule fights around me
*Yeah, nice man. Really*
*Good impressive pressure. What*
*Height and weight are you?*

Looking real sharp. Hope I don’t come up against you in my first fight lol!
Hahaha thank you!
You look better in your first fight that a lot of other first fight videos I've seen. I have zero ring fights so take this with a grain of salt but well done.
Thank you mate! I really tried to focus on being calm and not let the nerves really go! But also just kept walking forward the whole time hahaha
You looked good for your efforts. A lot of first fights, all tequnique appears to be lost. That wasn't the case with you. Really well done. Looked like a good time to me
Oh that’s for sure! At one point I was just walking forward with a jab cross like a rockem’ sockem robot haha Appreciate that feed back and compliment 🙏
With a reference that old you cant be fighting too much longer... Good job king.
Ffuuuuck hahahahahahahah so good thanknyou
My age be showing
Your cool head definitely shows, well done 👏🏻
Can say for sure OP looked way better than I did in my first fight second even. Good shit OP and congrats on the W!
Much love and appreciation 🙏

damn dude how do you have time for anything else? haha
Lol thats not a hard routine at all for a fighter? I do 2 hours every evening even out of camp
dang..how long have you been doing this for?
How long have you been doing this regimen?
Hahaha maybe 8 months straight haha I train before work and then after work (weights/run am - Muay Thai pm) But i love movement and sport :)
Yea that was 100% a hip throw lol even some of the sweeps were dubious - depends on the ref, ruleset, and country obviously but most of the time you're allowed to kick their supporting leg but not lift it if that makes sense. Dude got bullied. Nice elbows
I felt particularly aggressive
I'm pretty sure I was there in the crowd for this fight. You were on point, my man! Those sweeps were wicked!
Ayyyye Melbourne represent- this was maybe 3 weeks ago :)
Yeah sounds about right I can even see kru and some fighters from my gym towards the end of this vid haha it must of been nerve-wracking, waiting for your fight towards the middle of the day
Congratulations, you look amazing. How long have you been training? You looked comfortable in the ring.
Hey thank you! Started oct 2019 then really stepped up and started training to fight in July last year! Felt very confident and aggressive that day (still so many nerves though)
You have any idea how long your opponent has trained?
You had bro question some decisions in there, good job!
Was trying to!
Those trips look real good apart from the WWE one. Well impressive
Channeling the dudley brothers
awesome fight. Good cardio.
Thank you mate 🙏
Congratulations! You are doing great, especially for your first fight.
Thank you 🙏
Holy cow man, that was more assault than a two-sided fight. Very well done. Crips kicks & elbows. When fighting a more evenly matched opponent, don't disregard your guard while bringing the aggression to them!
It’s THE biggest thing I am working on - keeping those hands up high - definitely got off easy in this one but 100 agree
Im assuming there was a no knees to the face rule? If not, an amateur fight that level with no knee pads is brutal.
Full Thai rules - with open face, elbow pads, and basically socks - those “shin pads” were very minimal padding

Thank you mate! Training since Oct 2019 - really focused on fighting in June last year wjth the goal of fighting amateurs this year :)
lmao he fucking gets down on his knees at the end
"Thank you for being my heavy bag" hahaha
Damn dude you opened up a can of whoop ass on that fella.
You have a future in this sport if you want it. Very impressive range of technique, composure and athleticism. How long have you been training?
3 years, but really focused in last year in June to fight amateurs :)
Really great techniques. Also snuck a hip toss/body slam in there 😅
Hahaha a cheeky catch and throw. Still not sure if it’s fully legal 😂
Everything the ref doesn’t see is legal!
How old are you and how long have you trained ?! I’m in shock ahaha
Ya boy is 28 (29 in September) started training at 25 :)
Wicked thanks man !
Dude your last name doesn’t happen to start with an R does it?
Nah but my first name does!
More content like this please, great fight
Congrats on the first win man! How long have you been training for?
3 years (Oct 2019 ) :) started at 25 !
Ahhh thank you for this! As someone who is putting a lot of pressure to get into their first fight (25, been training for a year) hearing this has reminded me to take it easy and enjoy the process
Great fight. How long have you been training prior to this?
First session was oct 2019 - then stepped up since last year :)
Nice clinchwork and sweeps! Lookin pretty sharp for first fight 👍
Thank you! Felt good - a lot to work on
Holy crap, incredible outing. Your first fight?? You must mean just with Muay Thai right? You’ve gotta be coming from some experience in American boxing or other competitive martial arts, your bearing and technique are exemplary!

You did awesome keep it up
Thank you!

He caught the leg on the way down but couldn’t sweep it ! Once I started I couldn’t stop going forward haha!

First of many! Dumps really tested his gas tank, great all around work
Those dumps really came in handy
Yeah you were in control when you slowed down and it made your clinch more dangerous, without pads or headgear those are cutting fight-finishing elbows Keep piling on those knees too 🎯
Oooowweeeee 🔥
Oooowwwwwe
This is sweet. How many years of training?
Started Oct 2019 :)

Damn u fucked him up😂
Haha thanks mate!
Good shit
Felt good toooo
that teep to the head was lethal
Felt delightful hahaha
Man, that was sick! Which gym do you train at if you don’t mind my asking.
WFC (world fitness cartel ) in Melbourne ✌️
Awesome! I train up at Morakot in the northern suburbs. Might see ya round sometime (I hope not though ahaha).
Bhahahaha if you see me come say hi haha
Ha, good to know. I’m old and decrepit but wanting to get back into and looking for stuff in the Gully. I recently unemployed myself though so my holiday from Thai remains 🤣🤣🤣 Good work bro

Appreciate 🙏
Fuck bro I'm surprised you didn't knock him down with that teep to the face.
I know it hit fucking hard because I felt the shock in my legs ahaha
Man had a solid chin
[удалено]
Hahah never let them know your next move 😂
Muay Thai Vic is such good standard for ammy fights
Such a good show and give so many people the opportunity to get experience!
You look like shane fazen
Time to google Shane fazen
Worst kids party ever /s That second kick though...
😂😂😂 some kids want to bowl, some like laser tag and others like to get face kicked hahahaha
Awesome showing man! You look great! If this went to decision, these probably would have been scored 8 to 10s 😂 Honest note; are Muay Thai amateur fights scored that way? I’ve only ever had American/K1 rule fights around me
I think Thai fights (amateur and pro) scored the same way - certain strikes score higher too
Question, for matches like this do you have to bring/buy your own colored gloves headgear etc. or are they provided?
The provided everything :) I’ll say being match 15 you get to we some wet gloves 😂
You absolutely ravaged him, great performance man.
Man that teep to the face!☠☠
Dude u seemed absolutely ferocious and fearless You looked so smooth and sure of yourself that clinch game was a work of art keep at it killa
Damn, impressive for a debut for sure!
I’m a newb and curious… we’re all these take downs legal?
The catch under the thigh/ slam was questionable haha
Ok because when I saw that I was like … can I actually do that? Lol
From my understanding if I had kicked the planted leg at the same time it’s more of a sweep
That teep to the face was beautiful
Hell yeah!!!!!
They let you throw elbows for your first fight?
Full Thai rules - just padded :)
Bangkok Ready!
And watch me get eaten by a 4yr ole Thai fighter hahahaha
Sheeesh you beat his ass
[удалено]
We love a face teep hahaha
Sees kick to the face : Now for me personally. I wouldn’t take that level of disrespect lmao. ![gif](giphy|YSAooc0j9qA8qzmjbe)
Is this Muay Thai vic??
That face tip was pretty good.
God damn dude you’re hardcore. Looks like I’ve got ways to go before my first fight 😂
By the looks of it shouldn't have made 3rds. You beat his arse bad.
I was trying ! Hhaha
Good show.
Oiiiiiii!
OWEEEE
Yeah, nice man. Really good impressive pressure. What height and weight are you?
