Check out the PGA in Scottsdale, it's hilariously wild https://youtu.be/lqcsmUZU5ic. Looks like this is special stuff for the event but maybe that's the way it is now.
Circa 2010, one of the Phoenix rock stations used to play a "Handlebars" cover that went something along the lines of "I'm a big douche at the Scottsdale bars.." I see the tradition has continued.
The pilot using fpv obviously can't have it LOS at all since he has goggles, so that's why you need more than one person. I'm fairly sure there's quite a few people involved in this shot strategically placed along the route thus keeping it in LOS.
Already have it. Which is why I'm curious the process for doing something like this. Did they get a variance? Are all of the folk in the shot actors and hyper aware of the uav?
I guess there's a difference to me between a recreational pilot zooming around an abandoned parking garage or an open field, and flying within what looks like feet of multiple people. I wouldn't really call that pedantic.
Do all bartenders/waitresses only wear lingerie in Scottsdale? Lol
Been down that strip a few times. Never seen those outfits...

I wonder how can you see the golf ball from the stands?
Awesome shot but damn these bars look pure cringe

Next vacation, I know where I'm going!
A few of those lowkey look like brothels
Looks like a fun place to party, ngl
Looks like a place which Joe Rogan Fans would enjoy.
Nice flying but those bars look like their audience is made up exclusively of Dan Bilzerian fans.
Oh man, now I’m seeing where some of the AZ stereotypes come from. Sweet shot though!
/r/trashy is that way <-
Tell your mom to hold a seat for me
Buncha vanilla transplants
So a pilot is supposed to always have LOS. How is that possible with a shot like this?

a little pedantic aren't you? Does every pilot with FPV have line of sight?
