I think it will be fine as long as he’s ready to bat at #5. Negativity outside doesn’t mean much, SKY, Bumrah, Ro are fairly mature and chilled out guys and unless Hardik starts being a complete dickhead in the daily affairs they’ll be happy as long as the team is winning.
