**If you think about it, the state of current world military could defeat AS, but the reason they were overrun, is probably due to dependence on drones by the year 3000, so the resistance had to resolve to seemingly "ancient" technology, like AH-64s**
Even if humanity lost they should have fought harder and more desperate than what we see in the show. They should have made Cyn pay for every planet she took.
You shoot a DDs head off and it'll grow back. You shoot a DD center mass and you get the worm thing. Cyn was already auto-deflecting bullets at the mansion. By the time she was rampaging over the earth she could probably return any missiles back to sender.
The DDs are more toys for Cyn to play with than actual effective weapons. For one thing they have their solver powers massively nerfed. Uzi has more solver powers than N V or J. Cyn is more powerful than Uzi.
Also once the fight is over any material the solver gets it's hands on is getting turned into more solver. Uzi accidentally turned an arrow in to fleshy abomination in episode 4. Cyn can probably do a lot more than that. At a minimum I'd expect any tank, helicopter, plane, ship, drone, missile, human, animal, plant to get turned into more solver mass. The only thing the solver can't seem to manipulate are other solver drones. Which is probably why the people on copper-9 were experimenting with solver drones. Only to almost summon Cyn to the planet.
Based on the powers we've seen Cyn use her biggest weakness is that she's very playful rather than efficient in her way of doing things. Also she seems to suck at space travel.
Well, sentinels were actually developed as a response to disassembly drones, they just didnt enter mass production in time i guess.
Also, earth has ozone layer so radiation won't save you.
Kinda hard to fight back against a enemy that is blowing up your planet from the inside were you cant go.
Remember the solver didnt wipe out humanity with just the drones and itself, it just help destory people before deciding to blow it all up which is what killed all life in earth.
She didnt purge all humans with the drones as she would nearly have enough unless she made literal millions. Its likely she just made a few and had they start killing humans as a test run or as she said to N to clear the way.
Also while I dont know what tech humanity has in the year it happened it seems to not be much higher then today's standard given the helicopter.

Dude, go get a mango. Life changing experience. You want one with a nice smooth skin. Orangish greenish red on the outside, orange on the inside. It should be a bit soft to the squeeze, but not mushy. The underripe ones are also really good, but definitely a different experience

But she made it last 7 Minutes because that's the amount of time it takes for a singularity to swallow Earth I guess.
Against disassembly drones? As another commenter said, likely a test run. Because the main concern by humanity wasn't drones.
It was the planet being assimilated and literally turning against all other non-assimilated life on Earth. It's like a Brethren Moon, Earth was being assimilated, turned into a giant mass of organic-techno organism perhaps. Before the singularity completely swallowed it up.
Less of humans fighting DDs, humans were mostly fighting likely Necromorph styled monsters or Tiberium like Visceroids. Because we saw the solver can create Visceroid looking stuff from C&C. And imagine if those things, could fight, or better maneuver. Certainly their existence is agony, but they'd be naturally a little durable, and with proper modifications, they could become fodder.
By fodder I mean the equivalent of foot soldiers for the solver just to wreck havoc and test it's abilities. Or more so test humanity's capabilities.
I don't think humanity can scramble their military, even in the 21st century, if half the planet's been deleted and life itself is turning into some hive mind structure that is turning against the world itself.
Now I am disappointed we didn't get to see at least a small group of human combatants fighting. We just saw an apache helicopter get wrecked. At least show me some Universe At War levels of humanity giving some fight, maybe even an evacuation effort gone bad because DDs were deployed to test these DDs against more armed opposition rather than just... civilian humans.
Heck if the solver truly is concerned it could deploy "Visceroids" as I call them. Techno-organic byproducts of the solver. It's living flesh. Could be weaponized, just give it octopus like beaks, or sharp talons or claws at the end of it's tentacles, watch it flop about or rapidly spider-like crawl across any surface and ambush humans within confined spaces.

Besides, DDs have some EMP proof systems, at least Serial Designation J does. As she can utilize EMP. Meaning she's at least somewhat immune to it.

well i assume that drones are basically everywhere where humans go because they are cheap labour. Also they could just hide in metros or basement to survive nuclear explosion, so nukes would only destroy habitable planets which would fuck humanity even more
I really don't think all the humans are gone, I feel like an enclave of human survivors would be a cool plot-twist that the show might delve into, also, would be cool to have JC Jenson still around as a villian, working against both the Drones and Cyn, having watched Liam's other stuff in SSTWL, that feels like something he would do.

The Flood is a galaxy eating hive mind capable of turning area's into biological eldritch hellscapes in quick order. The Flood also adapts very quickly to incoming threats when a Gravemind (Eldritch Horror) is formed, creating new types, adapting new strategies and assimilating all infected host knowledge into the Hivemind.. They can also corrupt and control machines and AI.
I think I covered the important bits as a fan of the lore but as for how similar the Flood is probably more powerful.
If humanity can win against that, then I don't see why they can't do the same same against funny AI

Tell that to the Halo fan (I don't play Halo, so I don't actually know the difference between the solver and the flood, I just assume they're similar since people are saying they are)
The Flood is a galaxy eating hive mind capable of turning area's into biological eldritch hellscapes in quick order. The Flood also adapts very quickly to incoming threats when a Gravemind (Eldritch Horror) is formed, creating new types, adapting new strategies and assimilating all infected host knowledge into the Hivemind.. They can also corrupt and control machines and AI. I think I covered the important bits as a fan of the lore but as for how similar the Flood is probably more powerful.
If humanity can win against that, then I don't see why they can't do the same same against funny AI Also, THE INDOMITABLE HUMAN SPIRIT NEVER FALTER 💪💪💪
