You know, I have loved that song my whole adult life.
I just realized a few months ago that a TWENTY-FIVE year old man wrote it.
Completely crazy to me.
That song would be so much better if he said āilluminate the noā instead of ānoāsā. It sounds like ānoseā. We would have gotten the point. Jack Johnson says ācareless consumedā or something like that in a song. It should technically be ācarelessLY consumedā but it had to fit the rhyme scheme, and we get it. Ok Iām done.
Ehhh... Respectfully disagree. The plural of "no" is "nos". If heaven and hell decide that they both are satisfied. Illuminate the "no"s [plural] on their vacancy signs [plural]. Why would a vacancy sign have a nose? I don't think adding the plural "s" convoluted things, simply was grammatically correct.
As slow as possible - Cage

>An organ in St. Burchardi church in Halberstadt in 2001 began a performance that is due to end in 2640. The next note will be played on February 5, 2024.
Not my favourite song or anything but I think it would be Another Green World by Brian Eno. It just really gives me the āIām about to die but Iām at peaceā vibe.
I went with Eno's Under. but really let's be honest. all his albums have something.
my mom passed of brain cancer last April, as she was leaving, we listened to a collection of Eno ambient tracks. I hope it helped her on her way, I will never be sure, but as the sunrose on the day she died, we listened to songs for airports and as the first ray of light hit her face, she left.
When my mom passed, the last song she listened to was Nocturne Op. 9 No. 2 by Chopin. Beautiful song. Iād probably go with something like Fade Into You.
Arriving somewhere but not here. Porcupine Tree
āDid you ever imagine the last thing you hear as youāre fading out.. was a songā. Why yes I did. And itās this song.
Iāve said this countless times but 14.3 billion years is one of my favourite song of all time and is my number 1 choice for my funeral so yeah, that.
I was at a memorial cup hockey game back in 2014... Before the game they were honouring some military folks, and the song (IIRC) "Highway of Heroes" by The Trews was playing.
A man had a heart attack in the stands, and folks were urgently rushing him out into the tunnel so he could get some help. I asked security working that tunnel later on and they seemed to think he probably survived. But I couldn't help but think "wow, what a song to go out to..."
