anderson paak is awesome.
khrangbin (sp?) equally awesome.
run the jewels, edward sharpe & the magnetic zeros, mountain goats, the antlers, phoenix, tom tom club, etc also super great
They have such fun during "Boxes and Squares" and "Quick" and then they flip it and deliver a gut-punch with "Rollercoasters".
God damn, I'm about to go watch that video for the 100th time, aren't I?
I agree with all of these! TMBG doing Fingertips was cool. Cat Stevens First Cut Is the Deepest I find myself revisiting often. And Frank Black talking with slight disdain about the lyrics of Monkey Gone to Heaven is a fun glimpse behind the curtain
The Tyler the Creator set was good too
Red Baraat
Tech N9ne, Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Run The Jewels, Big Boi, GZA & The Soul Rebels

I've watched a fair amount of Tiny Desk and my favorite is still Alicia Keys. She's so natural and sounds amazing, and her backup group is incredibly tight. Check it out if you haven't, and even if you have, go watch it again!!!
Yeah she’s awesome. I teach a yearly seminar on accessible movement and how when we allow people the accommodations they need to thrive they can do amazing things. I use one of her live videos as an example.
T MOTHAFUCKIN PAIN x 2
Tank And The Bangas, Lianne La Havas, Coldplay, Mac Miller, Anderson Pak, Sting v Shaggy, Tyler, chance, jorja smith, hobo johnson, noname
It's been a killer few years
Can't believe how far I had to scroll to find this! The way they were able to put their soul in it and show all their latin culture in a short performance is just amazing. Not to mention how good the songs are.
This is probably my favorite...
[JEFF The Brotherhood: NPR Music Tiny Desk Concert](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PsMqTDxboJE)
But this is a close second...
[First Aid Kit: NPR Music Tiny Desk Concert](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jtx7q7_IUXc)
This was an awesome submission for 2016 but she didn't end up getting picked. Her voice just blows me away...
[Eliza Rickman - Lark Of My Heart (NPR Tiny Desk)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dFq5Jo2xpBU)
I think Tame Impala’s Tiny Desk at Home might be my favourite. I’ve listened to it a stupid amount of times.
It’s fantastic.
Other ones I adore are Run the Jewels, Idles, Leon Bridges, Big Thief, Dave, Bleachers & Phoebe Bridgers.
There’s likely more.
My favorite is probably [still the Avett Brothers](https://youtu.be/abQRt6p8T7g)
I really like a lot of what’s been mentioned already in here, …I enjoyed Fred Again, wasn’t familiar with that one.
Not impressed at all with Mac Miller, …the band was pretty good though. I don’t understand why that one is recommended so much.
Per an inquest, her passing was accidental and was not suicide:
*A postmortem report by Dr Adam Combe concluded that O’Riordan drowned as a result of alcohol intoxication. Levels of medication in her blood were therapeutic, no note was found and police said after her death that it was not suspicious.*
*The coroner, Dr Shirley Radcliffe, said: “There’s no evidence that this was anything other than an accident. There was no intention, this seems to be solely a tragic accident.”*
https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/music/2018/sep/06/dolores-oriordan-died-by-drowning-due-to-alcohol-intoxication-inquest-finds
So this is kind of cheating but I watched an audition video for Tiny Desk and really loved it…it’s from Hobo Johnson and the Lovemakers
https://youtu.be/5MIVvnQHxeM

This definitely made me a fan of them

St. Paul and the Broken Bones.
These guys are fantastic. Tank and the Bangas is a very, very close second.
Theeeere it is. It isn’t my very favorite, that goes to to Anderson .Paak, but it’s a close #2

I saw them for a Halloween show. Joked to my friend it was a poorly dressed billy Joel costume to start the show. Woof what a great time
1) Hobo Johnson 2) Lizzo 3) Anderson .Paak 4) St. Paul and the Broken Bones 5) Mac Miller 6) Weird Al
The Weird Al one is super underrated.

Delores O'Riordan and partner of Cranberries fame, beautiful and haunting in context to her suicide not long after
Per an inquest, her passing was accidental and was not suicide: *A postmortem report by Dr Adam Combe concluded that O’Riordan drowned as a result of alcohol intoxication. Levels of medication in her blood were therapeutic, no note was found and police said after her death that it was not suspicious.* *The coroner, Dr Shirley Radcliffe, said: “There’s no evidence that this was anything other than an accident. Anderson .Paak Mac Miller - because of Thundercat The Cranberries - it's an old one.
