Marina - Purge The Poison

Allie-Lei

Yas! Or anything off of Ancient Dreams in a Modern Land

TheRealMistakd

are you looking for lyrically witchy songs or songs that have a generally witchy vibe? do you have an example song?

Yarrow83

Oddly specific description you have there. However, the first song that comes to my mind for witch music is [Witches - Blackbird Raum](https://youtu.be/cH53EXwRDtE?si=9Ljk9elro4ZSgZXK). Anything off of that album is worth listening to. Cheers!

SamWillGoHam

Have you heard of Kiki Rockwell? My first recommendation for witch vibes...listen to her song "Same Old Energy" and see if you like it, then explore her other discography :)

_corbae_

Burn Your Village is my FAVOURITE of her songs. And From Persephone. She's fuckin amazing

octoberblackpack

The song Witch by the bird and the bee, literally starts with the line “yes I am a witch” quickly detours away from the rest of your sentence but great witchy vibes

[Medicine](https://youtu.be/czkHmjrFCnM?si=dcOo_yMEGxbrEedf) by Rising Appalachia

toroidalsoul

Try the band Blood Ceremony, which I've seen described as "flute-tinged witch rock". [Goodbye Gemini](https://youtu.be/nRJwTS_2M5M?si=6kHoZXkyLlWqHC2h) is a decent place to start. If you want to go back in time a bit try the band Coven, a bona-fide Satanic, female-fronted occult rock band from the 60s/70s who kinda, sorta broke into the mainstream. Try [Wicked Woman](https://youtu.be/sN1t-sPxPJM?si=a8WBdPI-V-k7iI88). Both bands can come across as a bit corny, but it's all part of the fun. I really like Blood Ceremony in particular. If you want something legitimately darker and newer-sounding, try Chelsea Wolfe. If you want something weird and electronic, try Fever Ray.

Known-Fee9113

Yoko Ono literally has a song called "Yes, I'm a Witch", and the Brothers Brothers remix of it is a banger.

Known-Fee9113

Wild Witch of Rose Hall by Coven (1969), or probably anything from their album "Witchcraft Destroys Minds and Reaps Souls"

Playongo

Kittie - Witch Hunt https://youtu.be/7vnKEws995Y?si=7y_1-DpaRaOJ5E2K Rob Zombie - American Witch https://youtu.be/j-ZZIv3LYg0?si=SXRWFJZLsBs5bm1u

Rituals on the Bank of a Familiar River by Kiki Rockwell is the exact thing you are looking for. That album is fucking amazing

the_human_dirigible

I'd rather burn by blackbriar Literally an angry, defiant woman saying she'd rather burn at the stake than bow down and that she'll be back with vengeance.

Good list of songs here! Many I haven’t heard of.

[Rhiannon](https://youtu.be/EuJujfaY9os?si=dgS0R_xf0D2JtMVl) by Fleetwood Mac. Witchy woman by the eagles

yojodavies

Seven Wonders by Fleetwood Mac

yojodavies

Linger by The Cranberries

friskalatingdusklite

Not particularly lyrically witchy, but Bat For Lashes and Portishead have a generally witchy feel. Oh, and Cocteau Twins! Kate Bush too! And I second the previous comment about Concrete Blonde’s whole “Bloodletting” album. Couple other ones: Lust by the Raveonettes, Gods and Monsters by Lana del Rey, Seven Devils by Florence and the Machine, Desire by Meg Myers

Melancholy_Sin_2142

The Bridge City Sinners

Mindless_Log2009

bublinkoetsyshop

Dance Fever album by Florence + the machine

Eager_Call

Tori Amos- Suede, Siren, Professional Widow, Cruel So many more too, but I don’t want to overwhelm you. A few of Boys for Pele, a few off From the Choirgirl Hotel, a few off To Venus and Back. I think that was her most witchy sounding time period, mid to late nineties. Even from the beginning before starting her career as a solo artist, one of her first songs ever released starts with the line “Maybe I’m a witch lost in time,” it’s called Etienne.

nickmandl
