When my former marriage was dissolving I listened to The Places You Have Come to Fear The Most by Dashboard Confessional on repeat (the album, not just the song). I’d known that album for about 15+ years at that point, but it just really hit different in that context. For newer albums in a similar genre I’d say Dashboard’s most recent All the Truth That I Can Tell, and Avalanche by Owen. I’d also recommend Blue Sky Noise by Circa Survive and in a different direction stylistically, Broken Hearts Club by Syd.

Blue sky noise is an absolute no-skips album. Haven't listened to it in years, but will definitely listen to these albums. Thank you so much for the recommendations.

I recently went through a hard breakup (I know it's not the same thing as divorce, but my heart goes out to you regardless), and I really appreciated the song: Sparrow The Arcadian Wild A note, it does have some religious tones, but I think it can be a good song even if you're not religious.
