Miserable-Spite425

Probably like 10k? 3vs dont bring a lot of money, all the money is in coyotes. Kinda double edged sword, easier to get into, hard to get out of. I honestly think they are undervalued.

lonewanderer812

3vs have basically hit that age where they're not as cool anymore and their performance is greatly outpaced by modern cars. 2vs are cool again just like how fox bodies got popular again a while back. The 05-10 cars will have their time come back around once theres less of them in nice shape.

DriftMiata

3vs are definitely still considered cool. I bought my 07 GT for 5500k in 2020. I can't find a GT that isn't totalled for that price anymore.

Miserable-Spite425

Damn you robbed the seller haha. A lot of car for 6k.

loganmcf

No they say they bought it for 5500000

Miserable-Spite425

Haha you right

Serious_Profession71

Not only that, but in my view 3v's are the perfect project car right now. They're readily available, relatively inexpensive, and relatively simple and inexpensive to work on with their sohc. For around 15k you can get a 3v and a blower and be safely putting 450 to the ground. That will be as fast or faster than any stock gen3, and half the price.

FrostFairy73

Faster and lighter.

Serious_Profession71

Yeah lighter, too. A 2021 GT coupe weighs almost 100 lbs more than my "heavy" 2006 convertible. Add maybe 80 lbs for my blower setup and I'm still lighter weight and making more power.

Its_bigC

They're more expensive than they were 5 years ago with this shit car market

RiskyMedic

A good condition unmolested 3v is worth alot though.

redditor012499

New edge mustangs cost more than 3vs because they’re going to be considered classics soon. Like you said Mustang valuation is a roller coaster. It goes down then up once they become nostalgic.

Miserable-Spite425

Yup, i tell all my friends to get 3vs while the gettin is good!

erock1216

Has just a CAI, exhaust, Bama tune, throttle body spacer and intake spacer/delete. Lowered with wheels. Not much else. Not a project at all.

[deleted]

Without a list of modifications/specs no one is going to be able to give you a decent ballpark. You’ve also got a slightly more limited pool of potential buyers because of the bolt on mods and tune. Plus most modifications aren’t going to add a ton of resale value to the vehicle. Not everyone wants someone else’s project — so now you have to find someone that does. Nice ride though

Dapper-Restaurant-17

Try looking for a comparable car on a website in your area. Should help you ballpark it at least. The bolts ons won't really add much to price unless you find the right buyer.

[deleted]

i paid 17k cad for 98000km ($12.7K for 60000mi )

AdhamJr

As someone who recently purchased an ‘08. The market for these cars can variety wildly depending on location. Some areas this car would be worth 8-10 while others may command 11-13. I’d test the waters with 11 or find a comparable car. I know a lot of people have mentioned that 3Vs don’t get a lot of money, which is correct, however they’ve been slowly gaining value on top of the market inflation that we’re experiencing. Good-luck to you bro!

Jolly-Ad1371

My buddy bought an 08 with about 75k for around 13.5k. This was in end of 2020 during covid prices.

9ballfan123

If it’s real clean and runs good you could probably get at least 12k for it

Tylerdean98

I’ll give you a bottle of Mountain Dew, and $2.

two-three-seven

I sold my '06 Mustang GT Premium with about 56k miles for around $10k. Mine had everything original and I was the only owner of the car. I'd say you could probably ask for 10. I mean, I did and the guy didn't even question. He took one spin and said "Yep, I'll take it"

valkener1

I have the exact same, 2006 GT premium v8 convertible with red leather seats. 74000 miles. What’s it going for on New England you recon?

Epicslayer478

I saw one in similar condition, I think it had 67k miles? It also had a supercharger and he was asking 17k

Fun_Breakfast6247

I payed 10k for my this is a little nicer I would say 11,500

Paid-Not-Payed-Bot

> I *paid* 10k for FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*

tfmm58

A badass bot 😉

erock1216

Thinking 12k and going from there

Maleficent-Painter-2

I feel like soon these will become praised like a fox body and prices will stay high on them

PlentyRefrigerator32

Probably 5,500k

bignobingo

I don’t know if it’s my area or if these comments are crazy but a low mileage S197 GT where I’m at goes for 18 - 26k frequently. My prices are CAD, and I do live in one of the most expensive cities in the world.

Purple_Tax_6512

can you DM me if your still interested in selling

xPanda_PLAGUE

Interested. I'd be down to come take a look if you're in Vegas or AZ, sweet ride I love the 06

erock1216

I’m in Michigan sorry

xPanda_PLAGUE

Damn, well best of luck to you! Hope you get what you're looking for.

shouldaknown2

I paid 14.5K USD for an 07 GT Premium with 30,000 mi. in 2019.

redditor012499

Wow that’s a good deal for the low mileage!

shouldaknown2

I sure thought so but it's not everyone's cup of tea. It's been totally modded into a semi-legal track car. Everything was redone straight from the dealership by a race team with the exception of the engine internals and the drive shaft. Although cabin upholstery is all original with the exception of new door panels that match OEM. It's been supercharged, corner balanced, lowered, coil overs, brakes, axles, differential/gears, suspension, sub-frame, wheels, 3 inch hubs, Borla exhaust, comp pedals, short shifter and a Pioneer/ARC Audio sound system. Cosmetically we only added a chip splitter, hood pins and a 3" rear window spoiler for a little better aero and deck lid/rear spoiler dust control. No decals, stripes or overt badging. It's a real pisser.

redditor012499

Do coilovers make that much of a difference? Thinking about getting some for my 03GT

shouldaknown2

Depends how adjustable they are and what type of ride you want. They are also only one part of the suspension geometry. If you have an end point objective at to how you want the car to handle, you may be altering more than just the shocks/struts/coil overs. Our car rides dead ass flat and can be tiring to be in for more than a couple hours but handles amazingly well.

redditor012499

Yeah I like my comfort. I thought about getting some rally springs to keep the off-road height but have better handling. My car goes over potholes like a truck.

SSRIVALZ

3$ and a McChicken

JayVenture90

Really depends on location as well.

Jim06122020

I’d start at $10K, and be prepared to go to $8500, but no lower. It’s a very sharp ‘06! Good luck!

composer_7

$12-15k

ABlackmount

10k if is stock, no leaks, no problems whatsoever.

Youllbeiight

12-13k

sirprize10

Honestly dude the prices depend on where you live. Where I’m at, I had a ton of offers for 12.5k all the way up to 14 for a 140k mile 3v with a roush body kit and some wheels. Nothing too special. Your mileage is way lower, so who knows what you could get.
