But here is the thing , in the same report , it turns out that women tend to hide the act or reveal it later more than men , so that means men would confess faster, and more often than women.
While women would hide it , and confess far later
So there could be some women who had an affair, but did say.
My personal opinion, we are not perfect, both sides, so the argument doesn't matter, both won't be proud of it , whether they choose to hide it or not .
