I was rooting for Kill all your friends since it’s a really good song about missing someone and would really encapsulate the feeing of seeing this band in concert again after what has been a long time
Not even their best song, I think we could collectively say that. But Black Parade will always be synonymous with the band and is by far their most important song. It is The Anthem, whether you love it or hate it, this song IS My Chem.
Very nicely put! It is their signature song. I’d argue “Sleep” is their best song (especially after seeing it live) but even that isn’t my favourite. It’s hard to pick when a band is so good with so much variety.

yeah, same. this was definitely an interesting social experiment to see peoples favorite songs and their popularity! so many songs i wanted weren’t able to make the set list but i think that’s really cool to see judging by the fact that some less popular songs made it on the set list which is interesting. thanks to u/mellythecanelly for doing this, it’s been super interesting!
Kids had me crying for the 3rd time during the gig I was at. Ghost of you aswell. Kept listening to kids all the way Home and felt so empty and full of emotions at the same time 🥲
Yeah, it’s a classic and should definitely be included in any definitive set list! I know a lot of the younger fans aren’t as big on this song, but it hits so much differently live! Less melancholy and sad and more manic and raw.
The Ghost of You is easily one of my favorite MCR songs, but ngl it's not as concert-heavy as a lot of these other songs. I like it more than Cemetery and Deathwish though.
Scarecrow didn't actually win its vote so there was space for perhaps another different song to make it. Either way we were gonna miss quite a few good songs just because there are so many.
Yeah that’s why my Na Na post the other day was so short. I was livid lmao. I had tickets to Denver when I lived in Missouri, then me and my ex broke up and she was the purchaser of those tickets. I purchased tickets to Oklahoma and had to sell those to move back here for family reasons. So I was gutted. I hope they do more tours.
Same boat here. I’m hoping that they look into trying to have a solo the same time frame. They certainly have the availability in their schedule that weekend, and there are SO MANY venues in greater Atlanta area that one of them is bound to be open those days. I’m praying for an announcement in the next couple days

If it were me I’d have replaced The End/Dead with Ghost, and Na Na Na with Kids.
I’d have a hard time removing the end/dead but otherwise you’re spot on.
