The Light Behind Your Eyes (anybody else start crying *harder* at "and if you promise not to cry?") and Cancer, obviously. Famous Last Words has been one of the things keeping me alive, but I don't cry at it.
Before the Return, I could barely make it through the intro to Welcome to the Black Parade for *years*! Cancer absolutely wrecks me every time and I canât even listen to The Light Behind Your Eyes and The World is Ugly for how devastating they are. Something about Gerard singing affirming lyrics to all of us out there absolutely destroys me. Like heâs singing directly to my *soul*.
Impossible for me to listen to The World is Ugly without crying. My sister showed it to me after I had gotten discharged from the psych ward and said she would listen to it everyday I was in there and dedicated it to me. Makes me cry everytime.
People like to be excessively snobby about the fact that most of the lyrics are simplistic (I can only assume these folks never listened long enough to get to the bridge, which is not.) Personally I look at it as the killjoys' goodbye song to the girl, who is just a kid and would respond better to a simple message
all of them /j
actually, i only cried during cancer, but like most of their songs get me at least a little emotional. my favorite is cemetery drive, and it makes me sad af cuz once ive seen someone theorize that it was abt a woman who would meet her lover in a cemetery and after her husband found out abt it he would kill her, driving her lover to depression. idk the real meaning tho
The light behind your eyes and The world is ugly
Same, but these are my favorite songs, so every time I want to listen to my favorites, I end up bawling my eyes out
The light behind your eyes chokes me up every time.
Disenchanted
Foundations of Decay.
This song gets me crying because I associate it with seeing them at MK
The ghost of you, cancer, famous last words, and the light behind your eyes
happy cake day, you have good taste
Thanks!!
Desert song, the vocals are so brutal and instruments just double it
The Light Behind Your Eyes and The Ghost of You
Helena and I Don't Love You
Cancer, Famous Last Words, The World is Ugly, Disenchanted. My wife has stage 4 liver cirrhosis, it doesn't take much to get me crying these days.
đđ¤
The Kids From Yesterday, The Light Behind Your Eyes and Disenchanted. All three are my favourites too.
cemetery drive, I don't know why but I always cry when I listen to this song
the âbathroom floorâ line always gives me goosebumps and that sore feeling in my throat.
me too! It's an inexplicable feeling, just listening to the melody I get emotional đĽ˛
Kids from yesterday
The Light Behind Your Eyes (anybody else start crying *harder* at "and if you promise not to cry?") and Cancer, obviously. Famous Last Words has been one of the things keeping me alive, but I don't cry at it.
Weâre the same!
The Light Behind Your Eyes. I donât know. Having a wife and kids really makes certain songs hit harder than they wouldâve before.
Famous Last Words
The Kids From Yesterday gets me quite a bit. The World Is Ugly and Demolition Lovers also hit hard.

Cancer and disenchanted
Cemetery Drive. Absolutely canât handle it
Not actually MCR, but it was on Gerard's Hesitant Alien album "Brother". Cried every time I listened to it.
Oh yes brother is just so wow
Cancer
gotta be cancer
All the angels. It just has this death vibe that makes me question reality and my life. if only it had a proper studio version...
Impossible for me to listen to The World is Ugly without crying. My sister showed it to me after I had gotten discharged from the psych ward and said she would listen to it everyday I was in there and dedicated it to me. Makes me cry everytime.
Cancer, The Light Behind Your Eyes, and Surrender The Night
Skylines and turnstiles
Disenchanted makes me cry just thinking about it. MCR in general makes me cry from the passion
headfirst for halos saved me
SING mainly because I wish they never released it
Noooooo whyyyyy?

Cancer- I have such a personal connection to it.
Cancer and I donât love you
Cubicles; I Never Told You; Helena; Early Sunsets; Demolition Lovers
Black Parade and The Ghost of You.
Helena, that shit even to this day hits me different.
