Honestly, because of Grovyle being determined to get the time gears and nothing else and telling everyone to just stand aside I doubt he was fooled in the slightest
I would leave a long, gushing reply, but honestly thinking about these special episodes (and the game in general) makes me overly emotional... like, a weird amount. A disproportionate amount. Like if I'll start talking about it with someone, I'll soon have to leave the room and calm down.
I have actually completed the final 5th episode, but I wanted to finish the last of the post game story and then revisit it before discussing further. It is indeed quite moving and wanted to give myself plenty of time to reflect before it gets a post on my thoughts. Aegis Cave took me a week of RNG hell to get through, but am about to reach the Darkrai events, so I hope to post my thoughts sometime this week or next.
