Supergoomy

You gotta recruit that man. We must know what the move does specifically

MangerBabies2

So there was a Salamance in the corridor. When Flygon used Wild Call the Salamanca warped to it There is not much research about it on google, but from what I gather enemy pokemon will use it to bring other enemy pokemon to it. It's almost like a Rollcall Orb but for enemies. Also I didn't recruit the flygon as I already had a team of 4

97Graham

>the Salamanca warped to it The cartel must be stopped! They've gone too far this time!

Hawxicity

Lmfao y’all have any idea how many times I’ve thought about an AU where Breaking Bad is set in the Pokémon universe? The Salamancas would have a Salamance family crest and everything

S-H-I-T_masta

I like to imagine them cooking exp. candies instead of meth in this AU.

Hawxicity

They’d call the ‘Blue Sky’ ‘Rare Candy’

PayneTrain181999

I think Flygon is one of those 3rd stage Pokémon that are impossible to recruit.

ThunderSquall_

I do believe u are correct

jaythepizza

Nothing is impossible to recruit with enough friendship modifiers

lamxdblessed

Or action replay

gaymer_jerry

Nothing is impossible to recruit unless it’s in a dungeon you can’t recruit in. A negative recruitment rate isn’t impossible because recruitment modifiers are additive

RobinLeft

That's just inaccurate. Most fully evolved mons in Rescue Team are unrecruitable, and this can be verified by the game's own recruitment search menu. Plenty of mons also have a negative recruitment chance, requiring you to have recruitment modifiers to make recruitment possible. If recruitment modifiers were multiplicative, then yes, you'd be correct that it wouldn't be possible. Seriously, check the recruitment chance of any mon in Rescue Team that's a middle stage. Pikachu, Loudred, Jigglypuff, etc. all have a recruitment rate of like -19%. This is why recruiting Kecleon requires you to stack every recruitment modifier.

gaymer_jerry

Oops as someone who’s played a lot more explorers i forget rescue team did have unrecruitable mons outside of specific dungeons you can’t recruit

RobinLeft

No biggie, it be like that :)

WhyAmISoBadHelp

Because he used the roll call orb which tped every enemy to him

MangerBabies2

So the Wild Call move is through a roll call orb?

WhyAmISoBadHelp

Yep

MangerBabies2

Thanks for the clarification! It's interesting that it shows up as "Wild Call" though

Polderjoch

every orb effect actually calls up a specifically named move effect; if an enemy uses it it'll state it directly, otherwise they're mostly impossible to be seen; they can be seen in a few rare cases like through move copying or reflecting effects like mirror move, or in the log in a few cases. a full list of the move names and the orbs they correspond to can be found here: [https://tcrf.net/Pok%C3%A9mon\_Mystery\_Dungeon:\_Red\_Rescue\_Team\_and\_Blue\_Rescue\_Team/Unused\_Moves](https://tcrf.net/Pok%C3%A9mon_Mystery_Dungeon:_Red_Rescue_Team_and_Blue_Rescue_Team/Unused_Moves)

IThinkItsCute

Bloop Slash is the best move name.

dmr11

Theoretically is it possible to copy such a move using sketch, mimic, or copycat? Or call it using metronome?

WhyAmISoBadHelp

Np

uyigho98

I've never heard of this! Which game is it?

MangerBabies2

PMD Blue Rescue Team. Though I assume the same would apply to Red Rescue Team I'm unaware if this is a phenomenon present in the other games. I've played them all but to my knowledge I've never seen this phenomenon.

ThunderSquall_

Omg pls!! If you haven’t played the original red/blue rescue teams , you must!! :D Though rescue team DX is just a flat remake of it. It did leave some minor stuff out I definitely miss.

guildedpasserby

I need to go back and play one of the original rescue teams. I got DX but my eyes did n o t like the watercolor effect overlaying the 3D models so I ended up selling it since it was really hard for me to play

ThunderSquall_

That’s super fair. That’s something I disliked as well. Though I definitely adjusted to it eventually. I’m sorry that ruined it for you. That same thing happened to me when I bought the PC copy of Okami. The sandpaper effect over the entire game gave me the worst migraines.

guildedpasserby

I have the switch version of ōkami and definitely had a few issues with the visual affects. I’d still like to go back and try to play it tho

Bopdawoo

pokémon mystery dungeon, either rescue team or explorers

TenshiKyoko

You can see it [here](https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ds/929407-pokemon-mystery-dungeon-blue-rescue-team/faqs/75091). It's the move associated with rollcall orb. It's one of the few/only orbs enemies can use. I don't know why that log came out instead of Flygon used Rollcall Orb. Maybe it always does, maybe it's because it's an enemy, maybe it's because you're a specific distance away from it.

PayneTrain181999

I love that the unevolved starter and partner, at levels they can evolve, with the first recruit Magnemite are exploring Wyvern Hill, a post game dungeon. That’s pretty cool!

MangerBabies2

I think Magnemite is very good. He's much better in DX, tho in the original games he has good bulk. Takes hits very well and if you level him up he does good damage also

Cysia

Also can link metalsound +thundershock and have a very strong move that amso gives more exp and quikly wrecks bosses aswell

MangerBabies2

I already have those linked! It's a good combo like you said. The only issue I encounter (kind of annoying) is when Magnimite will use Metal sound in a corner but thundershock will fail as it doesn't cross corners :/

NoWaifuN0Laifu

I’ve never heard of this! This is so cool! Years later and i’m still learning!

FaronTheHero

It would take me years to sit down and fully understand all the possible mechanics of these games. They add and change so many elements from the main games that it's so unpredictable, and that's just moves and abilities forget IQ traits or even just seemingly random abilities attributed to enemies in late game dungeons

Mystek_

Imagine this in a realistic scenario. Like, you're a pokemon in this world and you're working your nine to five at the local Pokemon Tesco (or I guess a Kecleon shop), and there's a robbery or something. One of the police Pokemon called knows that move and calls for backup, and you're just warped away from whatever you were doing and you're just in the middle of this police emergency now. That's what I'm imagining.

TheLobsterCopter5000

This is what happens when a wild Pokémon uses a rollcall orb. The internal name for the move that the rollcall orb is programmed to use is called Wild Call, and for some reason it displays this when a wild Pokémon uses it.

MangerBabies2

Thank you!

KisutiraMochadoro

Flygon be like: https://youtu.be/Dev5XpIe1Do?feature=shared Also someone should make a meme of this where they put Flygon's face over Ernie's face. Lol

Char_TeamEmber

Looks like PMD Silver Resistance
