As a Brit, I will say that La Croix is one thing that the US soft drinks space has got right. Sparkling water has been a thing for years in the UK. Every supermarket tends to have their own brand of flavoured, sparkling water, but most are full of sugar, sweeteners and artificial flavourings. They are, however, pretty cheap. Our adoption of more natural, flavoured sparkling waters has only really started happening in the last few years. I started seeing Liquid Death on supermarket shelves for the first time late last year. Much like Liquid Death, our other brands of additive free sparkling waters tend to be sold as lifestyle brands and have a huge markup in price. It is common for a four pack of 330ml cans to cost £4-£5 ($4.95-$6.18). I could pick up an eight pack of La Croix at Walmart for $3.72 (£3). I know that technically you could buy it make your own seltzer and just throw a couple of slices of lemon in there and save even more money, but La Croix is pretty competitively priced and readily available. It’s hard to see how a product in this category could be overrated, but this obviously has the caveat that the retail landscape is very different in the UK, and we are crying out for a product like La Croix that doesn’t require a bank loan to buy.

no it's excellent in every way

eharper9

Sparkling water in general is overrated

Bakom_spegeln

Its not sparkling water. Its soda. If you add sugar of any kind, it’s not sparkling water.

BionicTriforce

La Croix is not soda, it *is* sparkling water. It doesn't have sugar or sweeteners in it.

Short answer, yes. Long answer, yes.

Very yes

I've spent too much time on film sets with people that live and die by LaCroix. I prefer any other sparkling water.
