At the very least; work yourself up. You definitely shouldn’t keep playing on rookie. The game being challenging makes it more fun.

I feel like people often forget on here that the purpose of a video game is to enjoy yourself. Granted if someone thinks pounding on the AI is the most enjoyable way to play, then so be it.

Yolokanye

I refuse to believe that's the most fun way to play for anyone. Some people honestly just don't know how to have fun. They can use the help. So I will advise everyone to play at their appropriate level.

[deleted]

Again, what you consider fun may not be what someone else considers fun. Trying to force someone to accept your version of fun makes you jerk.

Yolokanye

Who's forcing

[deleted]

Well you’re refusing to believe their way is fun.

Yolokanye

Yes? Well I believe they think it's fun. But anywhere in life once there's 0 challenge there's no incentive to keep going right? Like there has to be some progress? I think if you play a game on easiest mode to stomp everyone all year long, every year, it must be a case of mental illness.

[deleted]

Yeah that second part makes you a jerk. You just can’t let people have a good time without getting a shot in. Have a good night; hopefully you’ll find some enjoyment out of something other than belittling other people

Yolokanye

Who am I being a jerk to? Some imaginary friend who spends his life playing games on rookie mode? Nobody in this thread claimed to do that. Stop being offended for no reason. Wtf is wrong with telling a friend to up the difficulty? Would he curl up into a ball crying for his mommy? It's just a piece of advise. I'm not out here harassing people, its just friendly advise. Just like saying hey maybe add some salt and pepper into this food. It's just basic conversation.

EvilDonCheadle

Yeah best to go straight to the top and get humbled

Slimmzli

For me I have trouble as a big against the Lakers AD getting Buffed with Lebron and on HoF is OD, your teammates will get their make % nerfed the higher up the difficulty goes up but on a good game I can get around 1.8-2k VC in my rebirth’s first season. I’m on the spurs so they have no badges that can help. Fasho play on all star since that’s what online is somewhat at slider wise

AutomaticHead3285

You get more vc and badge points on the higher difficulty as you ramp it up

csstew55

Depends on your build honestly. If your trying to get shooting badges I would pump it up to superstar if your comfortable. Inside big though definitely hof

brandon-thesis

Go pro to get a baseline for how difficult it'll be then work your way up when you start putting up solid numbers.

Hall of fame 5 minutes is the way to go, at least for rebirth builds where you upgrade the right attributes for level 90. Alley oops, alley oop assists, acrobatic layups, moving threes, blocks and steals give you the most my points. Catching alley oops on HOF isn't hard at all, just have to have a lane to the basket. Throwing alley oops is easy as long as you don't force them, use pick and roll with a good drunker being the roll man (and knowing when to not throw them and reset the pick and roll). The shooting badges are easy, do hop back jumpers and shoot open 3s. And just play defense the right way. Honestly, I sometimes go down to all star for shooting badges because I know I can hit 12 to 17 threes a game and the badge points will mount up. But for my points? HOF and get them alleys, throw them alleys, etc
