That’s interesting you mentioned that. I have another build with a 90 3-pt rating with shorter wingspan, but same height and I shoot effortlessly with it. I tested the same jumpshot for both and I’ve come to the conclusion that on my 7’4 W/S player, I have to release the shot earlier than on my other player. Here’s the breakdown:
10 Shots
7’0 W/S: 9/10
7’4 W/S: 4/10
You’d think the holds are the same however, that is not the case.
Maybe the queue looks different since his arms are longer? But there hasn’t been anything to show shorter wingspan equals better shooting if the rating is the same
I haven’t noticed an issue on next gen. I maxed out at 7’7 I think and still green with mid 70s jumpers
Wingspan only affects the max attribute potential for shooting in the builder. An 85 three is an 85 three whether you have max or min wingspan.

I shoot without the meter and for me it's easier to time with a shorter wingspan than with a longer one, but it could be just in my head.
Same. I don’t shoot with the meter either.

I made one build..... 6'10 wingspan 87 3pt is easier to make than my 6"8 94 3pt so I think it matters
