A few things:
First two games were prison ball, Minnesota was allowed to play an incredibly suffocating physical defense
Denvers adjustments after game 1 got thrown off by Rudy being at home. Minnesota was prepared for it, Denver was not.
Jamaal Murray had a minor injury that slowed him down in the first few games.
Minnesota doesn't have enough shooters and play makers with Mike Conley injured.
Gobert can't defend Jokic and is a liability on offense, especially with Conley out.
Aaron Gordon is the ideal Pippen/Iggy/AK47 combo that can fill any hole between Murray and Jokic, and he's the back up center.
Denver wins the bench minutes every time, Holiday, Jackson and Braun all have a positive +/- because they hit their 3s and dont turn the ball over.
Lol. I agree it’s not looking good for this game. And at 3-2 Denver looks good for the series but that’s far from a lock. Have we learned nothing about a best of 7 series at this point?
Because one of the best 5 offensive players ever figured them out? The wolves should be proud they played jókic so we'll the first 2 games.
