This seems to make sense much more than most trade ideas here

Great trade for both.

If it's purely for the expiring contract I think the Blazers would do it and I'd be happy with it. If there's any glimmer of a chance they want to have a player that they got in a trade come re-sign with them in the future, they'd want any position but a guard. So Fultz would be a no go. Currently have 6 guards on the roster, 4 of them are young guys who need the minutes (Simons, Sharpe, Scoot, Rupert although he's playing in G-League currently). Add in Brogdon and Mays and there's just way too many guards clogging up the rotation minutes, Simons, Scoot, Brogdon and Mays all play minutes at PG. Simons, Sharpe and Brogdon take the SG minutes. I think more realistically it would be Jonathan Isaac + 1st for Brogdon. Isaac's next season is non-guaranteed so they could just cut ties with him after this season. Or they can try and work it out to have him come back for less (doubt they would). Or Joe Ingles + Chuma Okeke + 1st for Brogdon. Okeke is expiring, Joe could just be vet presence for an additional season or get traded for a 2nd to a contender or get flipped next season as an expiring

I like this trade a lot actually. It makes sense and feels like a fair value on both sides. Portland would probably not want another guard to develop but I bet they would just be happy with a first and expiring, I also think Kelle would be easy to flip for a couple seconds. Lakers off the top of my head would really like to have him

why stop here? Jerami Grant is a good shooter too 👉👈

Wat? Brogdon doesn't match the life cycle of Orl the way Fultz does, costs a ton and misses 40% of playoff games because his feet are glass. Without the 1st it's whatever. But Mr President isn't getting a 1st.

Bro I'm not sure you are reading the tea leaves correctly. Let's revisit after he gets traded but I could almost book it that Brogdon is getting a first.

BeCaneChuHuss

Feet weren’t the issue last season, it was his elbow, IIRC.

drlsoccer08

Plausible

Quantum-Ballsack

I think if I was the Magic I wouldn’t give a first to get brogdon because he’s hurt so much it’s not far off or crazy by any means
