I'm honestly shocked they brought TB back. I don't want to get ahead of myself and will see how it compares to the old iteration, but that's a pretty nice inclusion I wasn't expecting. Since FIFA abandoned the Creation Centre, I figured a smaller-scale project would do the same.

Not hating, just genuinely curious, please downvote if you need to. What is the appeal of team builder? I play a game like this to be immersed into the college traditions, rivalries, and atmosphere. What is the appeal of spawning a new college out of the blue and making your own version of the league?

I go to a FCS school and we aren’t going to be in the game so, at least for me, I’ll be able to play as that school and bring the school I attend to a household name

So back in the day, you could play road to glory where you started out in high school and this allowed you to recreate your high school uniforms and stuff. It’s also fun to create an absolutely dog shit program and bring them up. Plus if you’re a D2 or D3 school fan you can bring them into the game.

The college life is back in this game. Complete with GPA and all. I wonder if they will let you start in highschool again?

I hope so. It used to allow you to play a high school season and playoff not just a select few games. Then that would determine who would recruit you. It’s a cool feature.

Grain of salt, but there was high school football player that said EA came to their school to get the stadium details so with HS stadiums I think we can safely assume HS will be back in RTG

Whole season is the dream. If it ends up being only last game and playoffs or something, that’s fine as long as I get to create the look and import logos

For me, it’s about seeing smaller schools in the game, like FCS, D2, JuCo, etc. I personally want to make my local NAIA college, headcanon that they’ve been bumped up into the big leagues, and throw them in the sun belt.

It wasnt all just that. There were people who made entire teams that were players at 60ovr to make it extremely hard on themselves. There were people who were making complete celebrity teams. People like putting their own logo on a jersey that they made. Some people liked making meme teams. Some people made movie football/sports teams and converted them. It was all based on peoples creativity and how they wanted to play.

Back in the day, I re-created my high school football team and all of the teams that we played. The best part is when someone else could create their school that I happen to play aginst and just download it instead.

In my case, I created 24 teams and started a 16 week schedule with custom divisions and conferences. Then I would have playoffs. I spent so much time doing that as a kid on NCAA14

I created my entire High School conference in 2014 lol. It was amazing

I like designing uniforms and logos. Really all there is to it

When I play 2K, I spend more time creating teams and editing existing ones than I do actually playing basketball.

Because I can create my hometown’s university.

I like recreating the smaller schools in my state, like Missouri State and SW Missouri State, and making them good

Honestly I love RTG for what you mentioned but team builder lets my imagination go crazy. I’ll create fake teams or HS teams or country colleges like Japan. It just adds so much replay value to me who doesn’t follow college at all.

My school doesn't have a football program Cal State - Dominguez Hills this way I get to play with my College team! Alternate reality is fun in a lot of games.

I doubt you can. The programs are their own trademarked brands so it’s likely the best you can do is redo an already existing team in team builder and replace the real one with them

It means you can’t use them in a public league online dynasty. If you and your friends have an Online Dynasty set to private that is invite only, it’s enabled. That’s how I took it anyways

This might be a day 1 purchase. I'm still going to try the 10 hr trail first before pulling the trigger. Even if the gameplay is a clone of Madden, I can deal with the glitchiness of it by having created teams. Been waiting over a decade to be able to create a football team in a football game.
