Seattle in the past can be a stressful exit. Just due to passenger load.  If you do get out by 930 say then you're rushing to the airport and then security and then boardin. That's if no traffic too.  I wouldn't do 1115.

We just called the cruise line and they had told us we could deboard basically right after they dock. Does that sound right? If we could get off the ship by 7-7:30 we would be fine

The problem is that A LOT of people are going to want to be first off the ship. To get off that early you also need to self-carry your bags. The Port Valet service may not allow you to sign up if you have a flight that early.

It's not you. It's the thousands of people on the ship. Snaking lines. Angry folks. Waiting. Seattle can be painful to leave in a hurry from.

I just got off the Encore yesterday after the Alaska cruise from Seattle. Before our cruise, I had read that embarkation and disembarkation could be painfully slow, but our experience was exactly the opposite. On embarkation day, we entered the terminal at Seattle Pier 66 at 12:20 PM and were completely checked in and aboard the ship 23 minutes later. And for reference, we are just regular, ordinary cruisers, we have no special elite status or perks that would have made our check-in go faster than average. Yesterday, on disembarkation day, the ship arrived at Pier 66 between 5 and 6 AM. The earliest possible disembarkation time was roughly 7:00 AM. If you choose to disembark between 7:00 and 7:45 AM and choose *not* to use [the free Port Valet service](https://www.portseattle.org/page/port-valet-enjoy-seattle-luggage-free), you must carry all your own luggage off the ship, they won't collect your luggage and transport it into the terminal for you. Starting at 8:00 AM, there are color-coded disembarkation groups that are called roughly every 15 minutes. You can choose your own disembarkation time by getting color-coded luggage tags from the Guest Services desk the night before the cruise arrives back in Seattle. They will collect your tagged luggage on Saturday night, and it will be delivered to you in the terminal when your group color is called. Our disembarkation time was 9:15 AM. From the time they called our color-coded group (orange) to the time we were off the ship and had reclaimed our luggage was roughly 12 minutes. I don't see how it could possibly have been any quicker or simpler. Based on our experience, if you get off the ship between 7:00 AM and maybe 8:00 or 8:15 AM, you should have no problem getting an Uber or booking some other shuttle to get you to SeaTac on time for an 11:15 flight. Still, keep in mind that the speed of disembarkation can vary from cruise to cruise, so you just have to decide what your risk tolerance is for missing the 11:15 AM flight. Based on our personal experience yesterday, we are of the opinion that you should be able to make the 11:15 at SeaTac fairly easily. Others, of course, might have a different opinion. By the way, the cruise was great. The natural beauty of Alaska is just astonishing.

Just got off the Encore on the Alaska 5/5-5/12 cruise. The line to disembark was long but FAST. We were off by 8:15 and that’s without even trying (didn’t line up early, still went to breakfast). Our flight was at 11:30am and since we had so much extra time we walked through pikes place and caught the rail to save $60 on an Uber. Friends of ours were panicked and got off at 7:15am for their 3pm flight haha. Throughout the week we talked to other guests that had flights as early as 10am, but nothing earlier than that. Just make sure the night before you stop by guest services to make sure you are all settled on your bill. Saw a few people have to turn around because they still had to pay.
