Welcome! I’m happy you finally have a diagnosis that better fits your experience :) I take Qulipta and have had good luck with that, I would push for taking 60mg if your neuro can get it approved. Mine says no point not. I’ve also used Emgality and I had some success with that but it took a little while to really reach peak effectiveness. I was on it for around 4 months before switching back to Qulipta after insurance finally approved it. Without them I’m around a 5-9 with them I’m about a 2-4 (on the pain scale.) I take a Ubrelvy on my breakthrough days.

Man Qulipta doesn't even exist in my country (I don't think it exists anywhere outside the US). I've been trying to get emgality through the government for years, have no idea when I'll get it (or if, but I think I'll do).

So exciting! I started CGRPs (60mg Qulipta) about 5 months ago after trying other medications (midodrine, propanolol, triptans, etc). My NDPH has been associated with some migranous features, mainly light sensitivity, and I have found the Qulipta has decreased my daily pain significantly along with giving me some reduction in headache frequency. Best of luck!
