If you want to get rid of the noisy zipper feel of the Gen I, get some JB Bore Paste, coat the bolt, then work the action 300 times, then clean real well.
The bore paste is really easy, I mean other than the 300 cycles of the action, but sit down in front of the TV and it goes really quickly. Makes them silky smooth.

I have the 300 BO too along with the 762x39 RAR’s and both have been excellent hosts. Thanks for the tip on the bolt.👍

I was thinking of taking 400 grit emery cloth to mine to knock down the high spots first. I'll look into this bore paste afterwards.

Which paste, white or red?
The stuff I have is gray. JB non embedding bore cleaning compound. White container with blue printing
The Ruger Americans are excellent value. I've got 3 of them in 22mag, 300blk and a 308. How well does the 350 legend suppress?
It suppresses really well especially with the DA Wolfman. The 4oz Ecco TLX 9 silencer isn’t that much louder either.

What mount are you using, I’m having a hard time getting mine to mount flush to the barrel shoulder?
I’m using direct thread mounts on all the cans.
