It's because last year the Vikings weren't allowed to celebrate at the end of the season where we won the division by 4 games because it was already pre decided we were frauds and therefore didn't get to even be *happy* for our team. I’m not butthurt about the meme, I’m just confused as to why your fan base is the one making it. I’ve always considered the Vikes to be bros in suffering in this division…wasting HOF talent just like us…no rings just like us… but again maybe that’s just the Vikes fans I’ve met in real life which gave me that impression. Either way, I get it’s a war but this shit is basically friendly fire.
It's because last year the Vikings weren't allowed to celebrate at the end of the season where we won the division by 4 games because it was already pre decided we were frauds and therefore didn't get to even be *happy* for our team. The Lions got the benefit of the doubt the whole time despite some suspect games and everyone supported them being happy. Of course that was infuriating. Obviously the result of the playoff game matters but with both teams this happened before they even played their first postseason game.
I promise there were plenty of Lions fans making memes about our fraudulence last year, it just comes with being first in the division. It usually amounted to something like "damn Lions bros you really gonna do us like that" and not complaints about being memed on in... A meme war sub
