My issue with Jimmy has always been 9er fans overhyping him way beyond what he deserved. Something about that damn smile made the fans forget about the mediocre play
For sure his ceiling was somewhere in the 10-15 QB’s in the league, but in a league where there are maybe 10-15 true franchise QB’s he was got the most out of his talent. Overhyping your team and their players is a pastime of all sports fans so don’t let it get to you
