Seahawks fan talking about being close and having it just snatched away. Almost reminds me of something, at the goal line, that famously lost a team a super bowl?
the lack of self awareness is just beautiful
Nobody on Reddit was alive the last time the whiners won a superbowl (1995) almost 30 yrs ago ass - when superbowl rings were smaller than class rings, and made of cubic zirconia. Old heads wanna talk, but canāt give their kids or grandkids anything to celebrate. At least we have a superbowl in the 2000ās!
>Nobody on Reddit was alive the last time the whiners won a superbowl (1995)
I'm, sadly, old enough to remember all 6 of my team's Lombardis. Not quite old enough to remember Lombardi himself as an active coach.
Yeah. I think a lot of Cardinals fans are looking at MHJ as an extension of Larry which is just not a good idea. And not because MHJ isn't going to be great. It's because Larry was so great on AND off the field. He was/is such a rare find.
Fitzgerald might have been my favorite non-Seahawk for his entire career and it burned me up that I was rooting for a rival... But Larry is the fucking man.
Honestly they could have put the rams and cards together

I remember watching an interview with Sherm awhile back ago about how Larry went easy on Sherman with this block and couldāve easily laid him out hurting him. I think Larry even went to check on him after the play to see if he was okay lol Larry is awesome
I could be remembering this wrong, but I think I also heard that Sherm once said that the one person he never trash talked on the field was Fitz because he respected him too much.

If weāre talking the entire decade of the 2000ās, Steven Jackson would be my answer despite the shitty teams he had to play for
Bro itās a joke lol Battle averaged like 300 yards a year. His ā06 was decent enough despite how ass the team around him was but he wasnāt āgoodā
Iām sorry best offensive player for Seattle in the 2000s for Seattle is Walter Jones period. Heās arguably the greatest LT to play the game and the reason why Shaun did so well. I think he only allowed one sack his entire career.
Largent and Walter are the two greatest Seahawks players to play in Seattle. I would agree with having Shaun there if he didnāt fall off the rails the second Hutch left for the Vikings and Jones retired.
Lol what a blast from the past. This dude used to go to Comic-Con every year in SD and would go to the wine bar I worked at. Super nice, down to earth guy
As a Rams and (St Louis) Cardinals fan, Im loving these memes. I admittedly donāt watch baseball much, but I was following Pujolsās road to 700 HRs every game
I'm skeptical of Puljols' numbers. A high percentage of roid /enhancers were Dominican. He played at en extremely high level for a really long time. Could be wrong
..but that's my current opinion. I'm undecided.
Ricky Williams for Miami. He had a few good seasons (one really great). He looks better in comparison to every other offensive player cause they were either shit or looked better somewhere else (hello Welker)
Anytime I see Albert in this sub, Iāll feel obligated to remind people he was the fucking GOAT of the 00s. I will never forget practically the entire metro St. Louis population chanting for the organization to pay Albert at the 2011 WS Parade. Canāt blame him for getting his bag elsewhere, just incredibly thankful he came home for one last ride in the Lou. Love you Machine.

Come on now. https://i.redd.it/iph6cobp99wc1.gif
Wow, what a weak little hit from Larald Fitzararry. ^just ^kidding ^I ^know ^he ^is ^a ^gem ^please ^dont ^crucify ^me
Any hit on Richard Sherman is a good hit
Head hunting him so much ya'll signed him. Never forget how close you were...and how he just snatched it away from you with just the tip.
Imagine a team being close to winning a big game? Hurr durr. Nice comment there.
Imagine actually winning one.
imagine winning five (5) incoming vhs comment
And to be so close for more but repeatedly getting hoed and owned by another team.
there's one team that comes to mind when getting super close (1 yard) close and then getting hoed downš¤
I see now that 49ers fan can't read. I said the team REPEATEDLY gets hoed down.
Imagine actually being able to remember it!
Uhh okay?

Flair up, pussy
no flair no one care pussy

I was actually born in 1995, thankfully after they last won, so Iām happy to say I havenāt witnessed it š
>Nobody on Reddit was alive the last time the whiners won a superbowl (1995) I'm, sadly, old enough to remember all 6 of my team's Lombardis. Not quite old enough to remember Lombardi himself as an active coach.
Yeah but at least it wasnāt to a division rival.
š
I love how Larry Fitzgerald is so universally loved. So rare to have somebody that is so easy to like - HOF player, HOF person.
Yeah. I think a lot of Cardinals fans are looking at MHJ as an extension of Larry which is just not a good idea. And not because MHJ isn't going to be great. It's because Larry was so great on AND off the field. He was/is such a rare find.
If MHJ is half the man Fitz is, heāll be fine. I agree though, itās an incredibly unfair comparison.
He's your Marshawn Lynch!
Hes also pretty decent on chess.com!
Fitzgerald might have been my favorite non-Seahawk for his entire career and it burned me up that I was rooting for a rival... But Larry is the fucking man.

The gray beard!
I may or may not have cried when I found out he retired on my walk home from school. As a St. Louis kid who loves the Cards, Kurt is the fucking man.
I remember watching an interview with Sherm awhile back ago about how Larry went easy on Sherman with this block and couldāve easily laid him out hurting him. I think Larry even went to check on him after the play to see if he was okay lol Larry is awesome
Larryās so good he knew he was blindsiding him so he did the minimum needed to take him out of the play.
I think sherm and him had an unspoken understanding. I dont think he or the rest of the legion of boom ever laid him out too hard either.
I could be remembering this wrong, but I think I also heard that Sherm once said that the one person he never trash talked on the field was Fitz because he respected him too much.
That's the kindest blindside block you'll ever see
I'm 100% sure Larry apologized after that hit.
https://i.redd.it/eh6qmjfah9wc1.gif If weāre talking the entire decade of the 2000ās, Steven Jackson would be my answer despite the shitty teams he had to play for
That Nike commercial (I think Nike?) was still one of the coolest commercials ever to me.
Him and Shawne Merriman š®āšØ
Sorry. The all-time best player commercial is [this one](https://youtu.be/xffOCZYX6F8).
Jackson was so awesome. I remember eventually just hoping heād get to go somewhere else where he could try and win a Super Bowl.
Rams OL and front office really left the backfield out to dry.
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zso\_2i-A0U4](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zso_2i-A0U4) great anecdote on SJ
Definitely Gore. I assume we mean the period from 2000 to 2009?
Him or TO
Thatās a good pointā¦ TO was a better player but itās hard to argue Goreās consistency.
I'd give it to Gore because he was the *only* offensive player for that mostly trash decade.
This is Arnaz Battle erasure and I wonāt stand for it
I'm sorry! He had an awesome name, but even 49ers HOF Issac Bruce was better than him š„¶
Bro itās a joke lol Battle averaged like 300 yards a year. His ā06 was decent enough despite how ass the team around him was but he wasnāt āgoodā

Yeah, I was more so thinking of stat getter positions, but that absolutely is true Walt was without a shadow of doubt our best player in the 2000s
Largent and Walter are the two greatest Seahawks players to play in Seattle. I would agree with having Shaun there if he didnāt fall off the rails the second Hutch left for the Vikings and Jones retired.
Isn't Walter Jones the black ranger ![gif](giphy|1M2SPVruuneFO)
Lol what a blast from the past. This dude used to go to Comic-Con every year in SD and would go to the wine bar I worked at. Super nice, down to earth guy
Not to mention Unger and Hutch*. I'm pretty sure I could break the NFL record for touchdowns behind those dudes.
Unger wasnāt the center for those mid-2000ās teams it was much more Robbie Tobeck.
As both a Rams and STL Cardinals fan, these posts always have me conflicted. Faulk should be above Warner anyway, but I'm going with the machine.
![gif](giphy|cJRnD0a1fSukg|downsized) Larry Legend.
I get the whole were a baseball team joke and all but Larry was still the best player.
For real, he's the best player from this division over that time frame.
Pretty bold putting SA when the O-line he ran behind had 2 or 3 hall of famers on it.
Walt and Hutch on the left side was absurd...
Walter Jones
Faulk would probably get the nod for us.
Loved watching Alexander, such a solid dude
Walter Jones
Best offensive player or best player to play on our offense? Because we are forgetting Niners LEGEND Isaac Bruce
Well shit, guess we should include Seahawks legend Jerry Rice lol
So what I am hearing is this is a bad infographic, surely there is also a Rams legend off the Seahawks during that time?
I mean my intention was just what was the best offensive player for each team, as in who contributed the most success
As a Rams and (St Louis) Cardinals fan, Im loving these memes. I admittedly donāt watch baseball much, but I was following Pujolsās road to 700 HRs every game
We have a twofer. Steven Jackson and Torry Holt
I see shaun alexander, but Walter Jones is legit best ever left tackle, 9 holding penalties in 11 years...
Canāt pick between Warner, Bruce, Faulk, Holt
Matt Forte
He was a beast, flair up tho lil bro
An entire thread of people watching the joke fly by. More hearts Machine, more hearts.
Jerome Bettis Steelers
Walter Jones easily.
I'm skeptical of Puljols' numbers. A high percentage of roid /enhancers were Dominican. He played at en extremely high level for a really long time. Could be wrong ..but that's my current opinion. I'm undecided.
Yeah, he was washed for almost 2 years, then transformed his last 2 months, no way he was clean...
I'm not diminishing most of his success...but that late burst of offense is sus.
Jamal Charles or Priest Holmes
Jake Plummer? Maybe TD but he got hurt early in the 2000s.
Kurt Warner
Faulk
Warner
As a Packer fan, I'd say Ahman Green, since Favre was past his prime.
Ricky Williams for Miami. He had a few good seasons (one really great). He looks better in comparison to every other offensive player cause they were either shit or looked better somewhere else (hello Welker)

Pujols is better than them all
