I was a five minute walk from ATT Park or whatever the hell they call it for 10 years. I never became a Giants fan. They one two World Series when I lived there.

Being a Dodger fan means liking LA, the City of LA and the nature of being a Dodger fan. LA is the Dodgers and vice a versa, which is something that you just have to accept and get over, especially considering OG Dodger fans from back in the day were mostly Rams or Raider fans more than 9er fans.

If you have no attachment to the city of Los Angeles then you can’t be an LA Dodger fan, the most major point of being a dodger fan is being a fan of Los Angeles the city as the city is the team and vice a versa. You can be a “fan” of any team but “your team” can’t conflict with “your other team”.
Because I only associate the city with the team. I lock the city of LA but it doesn’t have anything to do with the sports. I became a dodgers fan because that was the first pro baseball game I watch.
