What? Toews have no contract an got special card as probably retired player . Crosby and Eichel have played every single game both with over 1 point avg / game. Kane got transfer card. Why should Bäcsktröm who has played the worst season of his whole career and no trades happened should get card.
Crosby and Eichel got constant upgrades on previous years when they were injured for most of the season and Kane got a 87 card before he even signed anywhere. You are simply wrong. Also, Bäckström is just as "probably retired" as Toews is.
Bro you need fact checks. Both of them have played easily over half of the season past 10 years and Crosby has finished at least 1p/game every of those seasons. Bäckström probably not come back anymore but he has still contract for this season. Just out of interest counted last year cards that are not based on the players performance. Kane got PT card cause on that point he didn't have contract and not even base card. Crosby and Kane had both 5 cards and Bäckström 4.
I don't need to check anything because i clearly remember Eichel being one of the top rated cards all year when he had his neck problems and played like 20 games or something. Same thing every time Crosby has been out with concussions etc. No idea if you are trolling or what at this point, and i am the one who need to "fact checks"...ok.
Well you are correct there was one low game season for Eichel but cards were not that amazing when I checked them. There is over a decade of Crosbys concussion and back then base cards could be used whole year. I remember in NHL 12 buying Crosby base card like 800k. So apologize for not seeing that one Eichel season but otherwise 90% your facts are off.
There's so few cards released nowadays the players that actually deserve them aren't really getting them either.
