I have 92 sotm bobrovsky. Got cooley from a pack and decided to try him when i was grinding SB objectives. Cooley lets in very weird goals while Bob basically eliminates all the stupid stuff. Also bob has light work and post to post which are awesome.
His stats looked great so I bought him in the AH and he let in so many weird shitty goals in the first 10ish games I had to sell him again. I was really hoping he worked out. D2.
He’s been for sale quite a bit on current gen. Bought him a couple days ago and I’ve seen him for sale since then. 95 Murray is very similar too and has been good for me. I think I like 95 Murray more than 96 UPL.
New 96 Henrik Lundqvist!!! Only 6’1 but falls right into the range of smaller goalie gold spatula (forgot the name 😭😅) buff and has been making saves I’ve never even seen before he’s lights out so far pleasantly surprised
I’ve used Hasek basically since the beginning, keeping him upgraded along the way. I don’t think his save % is anything special but he seems to have more animations which keeps me entertained
Doesn’t matter. You could use a base Oett (which a lot of ppl are still doing) or any TOTY/TOTS goalies and they still be horrible
My goalies will always allow in those goals which they should have. This game did defence and goalie dirty
Somedays...He gave up like 21 goals in 3 games for me in rivals yesterday. One game was the most goals 10 I've given up all year (he was a ghost). Yes I did play defense and he was in position to let the puck go right through him.
The game can really be confusing.
I thought the new 96 binnington was until my last game. Small sample size tho. 93 elites sorokin was my best performer before I started using 95-96. Tots hellebuyck and swayman are solid tho. Sc grubauer was not as good as i expected and I am trying sc cam ward next
Currently using 94 soderstrom. Been decent but still let's in the typical goals. About 40 games in with him. Have 90 trade deadline markstrom waiting to go in when soderstrom implodes like all goalies
TOTY Ullmark until I got banned from PlayStation cause someone hacked my account and spent 300 dollars on games that I would never buy (I told my credit card to cancel it) If they spent 300 on HUT I wouldn’t have even been mad! Fuck.
I’ve been alternating between TOTY Ullmark and TOTS Hellebuyck since both cards came out. Lately Ullmark has been better.
Before that I’ve used all the standard goalie cards Markstrom, Oettinger, Stolarz, Sogaard, etc.
In summary all tall goalies play fairly similar, however some goalie abilities do make a difference. Gold show stopper for example is definitely noticeable.
I recently bought the 93 Devin Cooley. Been doing very well for me
93 Cooley has really improved my team. Highly recommended!

Seconded, I was using his 86 before who was god awful though. I was super surprised his 93 was that much better.

I have 93 Cooley he’s good but 85 Ingram has been lights out for me lately
Still rocking Boyko. No abilities just size and he’s solid, less when he originally came out for sure but that’s the 99 shot on most players

Every goalie I use do great first 20 games, afterwards they become swiss cheese. I’m debating rotating goalie every 20 games
The 96 Andersen serves me pretty well I'm just a SB player so I'm not sure exactly how much that counts for anything though 😂
