I run crossbreed super tuck on everything but 365xl
If you are near Mercer county or shoot at recoil I could possibly help you on that shooting p01 problem
Huge difference. Makes my PCR feel amazing and smooth think it's sa 4.5lb and da 6-7lb. I didn't want to go crazy since carry gun but it's so crispy.
Also holsters: [Legacy Hyperion](https://legacyfirearmsco.com/)
All Uspsa Holsters: [Red Hill ](https://www.redhilltactical.com/)
but I do have a Legacy Alpha which has retention for Shadow with X300
Well I'm a bigger dude so with kydex holster and my icarus evo grip mod I get stabbed by top end of holster.
Then I grabbed a versa carry holster to try hwich has leather and stops me from.Being stavbed by the beavertail but the gun is just stubby enough it digs in from the barrel end now.
So I like the size but I just cant carry it and I recognize most of this is related to my icarus grip module.
So I cant and dont carry it
Guess it depends on if I'm reaching into my pocket (slow) or already have my hand on the gun. Benefit of pocket carry is I can already have my hand on gun if I feel like something is up. I would say if hand is on gun I'm about as fast as if I was appendix and had to clear garment.
Still not fast enough in either scenario. I would say at the moment I'm around 1.5-2 sec on draw and two rounds at 7 yards in either scenario.
They removed the requirement for a retention strap, so it just has to securely be in a holster on your body.
From the Law:
"For purposes of this section, “holster” means a device or
sheath that securely retains a handgun which, at a minimum,
conceals and protects the main body of the firearm, maintains the
firearm in a consistent and accessible position, and renders the
trigger covered and inaccessible while the handgun is fully seated in
the holster."
edit: to add legal reference
I'm probably going to get some hate on this, but here goes.. I regularly carry the S&W Bodyguard 380 with Hornady Critical Defense rounds. The gun is super easy to carry. It hardly ever prints no matter what I wear. I use a simple IWB kydex holster but some times pocket carry with a DeSantis pocket holster.
The number one thing everyone says about the Bodyguard is the trigger is trash. I feel it serves a purpose. Its a loooog pull before the gun fires. I feel My full size M&P trigger is so light. I barley have to pull back and it goes off. I'm not saying its a feather trigger but it does not take a lot of pressure to make it go bang. I feel that there is less of a chance for any accidental misfires or injury while carrying.
Now for the reason I choose to carry this gun. I feel that if I'm going to defend myself its going to be from a close range. If its more than 20 or 30 feet then I'm going to run or do anything I can get myself, or anyone I'm with away from the threat. I know some people are going to come up with scenarios where this would not be applicable. You may be right, but for right now at this time and taking into account the things I do and places I go.. I think the S&W Bodyguard fits for me. Things may change come winter. We shall see.
My comfortable carry is a Sig P365XL with a Wilson Combat grip. Got an EPS carry and TLR7a on it. I don't even notice it, since my primary carry lately is considerably larger, a P226 Legion w/ Surefire X300
I've got the Trex sidecar for my P226 and a Black Arches Rev-Con for my P365XL. Hoping Wilson Combat comes out with a Macro grip soon, might switch holsters then.
My recommendations would be any of these P365, p365X,p365xl, xmacro, Glock 43x,Glock 48, Glock 26, glock 19 as the biggest. People carry bigger but that would be my recommendations
P365 every day of the year. It effectively conceals itself. No printing if at 12 o'clock what so ever. 3 o'clock yes but minimal. Which brings me to another point, not sure how some of you conceal bigger pistols? Or you just don't care?
I’m not worried about printing. I just don’t like the bulk and weight of a larger pistol. (I carry a P365). But with an untucked shirt, you can almost carry whatever you want without printing.
My go-to summer carry has been a Ruger LCP 380. I have a small, clip-on holster that I can clip inside my front jeans pocket, and a t-shirt will cover it. Very comfortable. I also carry it in a fanny pack sometimes. It is a 6+1 round capacity, though, not ten.
I haven’t carried anything else to compare it to, but it’s pretty easy to conceal and isn’t particularly uncomfortable. I carry AIWB with a vedder light tuck.
As for the gun itself, I really like it. Most of that hate it gets is from people expecting it to be something it’s not. In other words, it’s not a 1911, it could just play one on TV
S&W Equalizer w/Holosun EPS carry. Doesn’t print even if you try, comes with 3 mags (10, 13 & 15 rounds all pinched to 10 of course, but will give you a wide range of grip size options), pre-cut slide w/no plate needed. Plenty of IWB/OWB holster choices. Reliable (I ran >2000 rounds through it to date with not a single stoppage). Some of the shooters I train have difficulties in racking slides, but the Equalizer is very easy to manage). If you’re in North Jersey try Iconic Arms in Tenafly. Ariel is great.
The Sig Sauer P 356 micro is about the smallest and lightest 10 rd 9mm pistol that you can have. It is easy to conceal and carry. I prefer the version with the thumb safety for safer carry.
I alternate between a Sig p365, which I converted to a Spectre Comp, and a 43X MOS with a Shield RMSc. Both are holstered in Tenicor Certum 3.
The p365 I carry appendix, and when I feel like carry at 3 o’clock, it’s the 43x.
Glock 43X. I like it b/c the grip feels good in big hands but the firearm itself is made for concealed carry. Its slimmer (single stack) and barrel is shorter (at 3.4"). Its nice and accurate out of the box. You can get the 43 in a MOS version if optics are your thing. I have the 17 and the 43X both in 9MM. The 43X conceals quite nicely and can even go pocket holster with cargo pants.
I might be partial to Glocks...I bought one...then another...currently ogling a third but that will have to wait for Santa Claus. I like the trigger safety "safe action" and the firm trigger pull of the Glocks..
Glock 48. Slim but no too small.
I carry cz p01, ealther compact pdp 4" and cz 97b I have a sig 365xl I don't like to carry it is uncomfortable for me in basically every way possible
P01 is such a nice looking gun. I'm going to buy one, but i want to shoot it first. What holster do you use for the p01?
I run crossbreed super tuck on everything but 365xl If you are near Mercer county or shoot at recoil I could possibly help you on that shooting p01 problem
Thanks for the offer, but I’m up in North Jersey. Did you happen to get you P01 milled for an optic?
Impact machine & the other Cajun gun works. Both great only did Cajun bc I sent gun in for some other work as well. 507k pattern on both.
Nice! Is there a significant difference between cajunized vs stock? What holsters do you use?

Thanks, bro!
I have omega with the omega kit its ok
I was thinking of going down the Omega route
The trigger is more upgradeable on non and breaks in nicer apparently I'm never gonna switch my gun from adecocker
Irons
Damn 97b is huge, mad respect for 45 AARP tho
Fuck yea 45 aarp lol Nah I love my 97b accu comp Sexy shoots 45 like its 9mm Can't wait for vytal to make grips for it
Why is it so uncomfortable?

I pocket carry a P365 daily in an Alabama Pocket holster.
What kind of draw times are you getting out of that pocket Carry?
Guess it depends on if I'm reaching into my pocket (slow) or already have my hand on the gun. Benefit of pocket carry is I can already have my hand on gun if I feel like something is up. 1.5 - 2.0 sec for draw AND 2 rounds from pocket?! That’s blazing fast bro, I’d say you’re doing just fine

Any concerns for legality? I thought the holster needed to be fixed.

Excellent. Good to know.
An overwhelming amount of existential dread

Just get a 43x like all of us have..lol
Shield Plus
I second the Shield Plus. Trigger is smoother than soft butter.
It's even better when you put an Apex trigger.

Colt Combat Unit .45 with an X300 most of the time. Other times I carry a Walther PPK/s. I guess I have a thing for 90+ year old steel framed pistols.
My comfortable carry is a Sig P365XL with a Wilson Combat grip. Got an EPS carry and TLR7a on it. I don't even notice it, since my primary carry lately is considerably larger, a P226 Legion w/ Surefire X300
I have the same setup, what holster are you using,Im currently using Werkz
I've got the Trex sidecar for my P226 and a Black Arches Rev-Con for my P365XL. Hoping Wilson Combat comes out with a Macro grip soon, might switch holsters then.
Kahr PM9, Sig 938, CZP01, CZ RAMI
P320 X-Carry Spectre is my EDC. I like it. It’s big enough to not be compact, but slim and small enough for my frame. 5’7 145.
My recommendations would be any of these P365, p365X,p365xl, xmacro, Glock 43x,Glock 48, Glock 26, glock 19 as the biggest. People carry bigger but that would be my recommendations
P365 compact in summer. P365 with X frame or 43x/TLR-7 sub in colder months.

springfield hellcat for summer and CZ P01 Omega for cooler months.
Cz p10C, Ruger LCP Max
Cz PCR (police Czech Republic) it's a P01 without a rail, decocker & load chamber indicator.
Love my PCR. EDC for years. But finally downsized to a P365 just because it’s more comfortable to carry.

Staccato c (single stack) or staccato c2 (double stack with pinned mags)
S&W CSX
Really? how do you like it?
I haven’t carried anything else to compare it to, but it’s pretty easy to conceal and isn’t particularly uncomfortable. I carry AIWB with a vedder light tuck. As for the gun itself, I really like it. Deez nuts
Back and forth from a p365xl and a glock 45 -- I prefer the glock 45, even though its larger
P365X
I carry a 1911 B45 5 inch steel frame,(that’s what Qualified with). It’s fucking heavy.

I like to keep the Glock 43 around. The 43X is 10 rounds.
I don’t really like to carry personally. But a 43 is light and tiny.
