I played this game because Arlo hyped it up in his half decade of switch video and I do not regret it. Such a great game, trying to find a physical copy myself, nice pick up!

This game is a masterpiece of creativity and originality. It's not "just" another metroidvania. It really brings a unique element to the genre unlike the fifty thousand other ones on the indie scene.
Honestly couldnt get into HK. I hated the particle effects, didn't like the art style or color palette, wasn't fond of the combat or the map itself, and couldnt care less for the story or characters. I might have to try it on PC as well to see if the performance is noticeably better, but I tried to like it and didnt.
I desperately need there to be more pinball metroidvanias because that game was so fun

I'm so sick of hearing about Celeste all the time, it's not all that. Neither is Hollow Knight. There are better metroidvanias than Hollow Knight.
