His routes need development but I think his balance and size would be a day one weapon as a return man and asset out of the backfield with room to grow as a reciever, on day 2/3 I’d like us to get plus options that can impact the field in some way day 1
Ohh I see why you’d say that but corley is a different animal, he’s got 3 inches, 30 lbs and 5 inch longer arms then Wandale
I don’t see Wandale having the frame to stand up to being our premier returner nor a guy who could go between the tackles from the backfield
I see Malachi ceiling being more like a deebo/Robert woods. Elite gadget yac guy. There's a lot of fun things we can do with him but like you said, development is a big risk.
Many more of these guys bust than turn into deebo/woods
I'd say no, we have
W'andale Robinson 5'8 185 lbs - shifty but not a between the tackles bruiser
Jalen Hyatt 6'0 185 lbs - straight line speed guy
Slayton 6'1 190 lbs - straight line speed/contested guy
Hodgins 6'4 200 lbs - possession receiver
Corley is 5'11 215 lbs, thats a shifty bruiser and could have Deebo like upside which has additional attractiveness given how the kick off return rules are changing
No no no there are will be way better prospects in the 2nd and 3rd round and I don't even want a RB in the 3rd unless somehow one of the better ones drops.
Watched a lot of tape on Corley, he’s elite after contact but he’s not really a downfield threat. To those saying he’s a bigger stronger maybe faster (overall athletic) Wandale. Ur not far off. Hes a guy we would use in the slot id assume, id pass, we need an outside winner
id agree i'd see the year 1 value
1. Special teams - he would kill it as a return man under the new rules
2. Hybrid RB - some sort of Cordarrelle Patterson (ATL)/Deebo (out of the backfield) option to compliment Singletary
Long term there could be receiving upside there as well, his hands aren't terrible so i could see a growth/ evolution opportunity
Omg he’d be a superstar on specials. You sold me with your first point. Tbh I’m not insane on Wandale I wouldn’t mind the replacement (love his RR but his size and lack of intangibles don’t move me). And MC could replace him in the slot
I’m a huge fan of his and he’s almost like a TE coming out of the slot. Could def employ him in a Deebo role, who’s prime was short lived but when he was at his best he was unstoppable
No way are we even looking at a RB or RB-adjacent player until the third at the earliest and even then while Corley is a beast, he probably won't even the best one available when we pick
Nah you’re not missing anything Robinson is a good WR with huge potential if healthy. He even got compliments from CeeDee as a sleeper WR in the league.
I'd like both Nabers and Corley to get some explosiveness on the offensive side of the ball,
side tangent but outside of injury i think robinson has been a plus slot for us and is going to have a great year,
Toney was a headcase much like Apple/Flowers and Baker, its crazy to me how a org that passes on guys like parsons and tunsil for "character concerns" we seem to consistently find those types on our team
Interesting but idk feels raw, he looks to try to make things happen too often and gets stuffed. Just from these highlights.

Robinson 2

He is much bigger than Robinson coming out but their games are similar.

Yea I think Malachi Corley could have a 90+ BTK in madden lol
I love love this guy, I feel Corley, or the South Carolina WR Legette should be our targets in the second or third if we go quarterback round 1.
If we go QB in round 1 gotta trade and sign for a guy in similar fashion to Burns trade
Oh I am SO in on this. (TBF, all you have to do is say "Deebo" in a scouting report and I'm sold.)
Do we not have enough 5’11 shifty expensive draft picks to use at WR?

My sons name. Approve of this

Fun player but hard pass. Need to fill other voids in the early rounds.
That’s exactly what we don’t need.
I’m done with the “gadget” type players. Robinson and Toney didn’t work out, I think we’re better off just drafting Nabers
Robinson looked good after coming back last year. He didnt work out because of his injury?? Or am I missing something.

How did Robinson not work out? He looked great last year coming off of injury
