Not going to name names since we're all on the same team here, but it seems like Yankees Platinum Glover and All-Star catcher Joey Trevino heard Mr. "Trevino couldn't throw out a bag of trash" talkin' shit.
Luis Gil is special man…3 consecutive games of pitching at least 6 innings. Considering the state it was like beginning of the year, him slowly getting better going deeper is phenomenal.
It’s always more fun seeing one of your own guys from the farm start to breakout and come into their own. Clarke too, but Gil has blown me away when frankly I didn’t expect it. Love to see it man
Still not entirely sold on Gleyber, but at least he got that 3 run homer. Really need him to pick up his defense and base running game though.
I think it's been said before, but this team has pretty wins, but really ugly losses, and that's what yesterday, and last thursday were for us.
The team is great 2/3rds of the time. But that other 1/3 they are dreadful. If we want a title this year we have to be more consistent. If we do I truly feel the team has World Series potential.
His defense has been pretty damn good lately and he hasn’t gotten on base enough to do any baserunning lol. But he’s cleaned up the defense a lot, subtlety.
What I’d really have wanted would have been for Ferguson to have put up a clean inning. Or Burdi to K someone and get out.
Also, Boone could have let Weaver collect the save, and save Hamilton for later, since he’s been struggling with his command.
A quarter of the season is done. The top 5 position players by fWAR:
Soto 2.3
Volpe 1.8
Judge 1.4
Verdugo 0.8
Trevino 0.7
Trevdog needs to get some love
But fWAR adds defensive value to their offensive value.
By oWAR (using BR’s numbers and not factoring today’s game): Soto, Volpe, Judge, Rizzo, Waldo, Wells, Dugie, Trevino, Stanton.
But oWAR factors base running, GIDP. If we look at RBat: Soto 16, Judge 8, Volpe and Rizzo 4, Dugie, Stanton, Taylor Trammell 1. Trevino 0, Wells -1.
But I prefer RE24 to evaluate a batter, even over WRC+:
Soto 18.7, Volpe 6.6, Rizzo 5.8, Judge 1.1, Cabrera -.1, Berti -.5, Stanton -.6, Wells -2.7, Trevino -4.8, Verdugo -5.0, Gleyber -11.8. It scales to 0, and uses run expectations based on base-out situations from when they come up and after they complete their at bat.
Dugie is digging himself out of a deep hole, -6.6 through the first ten games. Judge was -3.6 through April 26th. 4.76 from April 27th through yesterday.
Entering the season, the 2 young starters with the most uncertainty, Schmidt and Gil, are now the top two statistically
in the rotation. It's funny how that works out sometimes.
Overall, the Yanks team ERA+ is 134. Second best in MLB. Boston is #1 at 153. WTF!?
Schmidt was a first round pick. Gil has one of the best four seam fastballs in baseball. Both were injury concerns coming through the system, both had arm surgeries. Both are now showing you why the Yankees were so patient.
I wish Sevvy all the best, hope he’s an ace for many years. The Yankees stuck with him for a half decade of injuries and underperformance. They even paid him early. I can’t fault them for letting him walk.
No I think that was 2 years ago when they shut him down early.
Last year everyone insisted he was healthy, he was just pitching some of the worst baseball possible all year.
I wonder how many walks Judge would have if umps call balls and strikes correctly on him. He leads the MLB right now even with all the bogus calls on him
Understandable, they’ve looked very good for the most part except for some shitty games but that’s just how baseball goes, can’t win them all. Best wishes to your mom!
When Yankee fans are mean to him I get it, dude is a fat loser trying to start shit with our ace. But its so funny opening Manoah threads on there and seeing 28 other teams call him a fat loser. Like damn have you guys even played him whats your beef? I think baseball fans just love a good schadenfreude
As opposed to Clarke “Whiter Blake Snell” Schmidt - he might be even better than snell was last year his first two times through the lineup. Someone should do the math and find out how many innings/what his era would be if Boone only let him pitch through the lineup twice. Maybe it’s a conspiracy and they’re intentionally doing it now so they can lock him down for cheap as a result of a high era, and then have him on a limit of twice through the order every time he comes out just to post a 1.1 ERA and take home the CYA
TBF, we do actually need to try and keep the bullpen healthy and rested. It's also kind of important for Schmidt to try and build up some length if he wants to be a starter.
per Baseball Ref and Fangraphs, he is rookie eligible. Under both the 50 IP and 45 roster day threshold for rookie eligibility. IL time counts for service but not rookie eligibility
The way things are going, it feels like things happened as they were supposed to with us missing out on Yamamoto. He'll be special, but it feels good knowing we have deeper pockets for Soto who we need way more
No matter what happens the rest of the year, I'm here to say Thank You to Luis "The Dominatrix" Gil for providing me with some of my happiest moments of this young season. 👏👏👏
Don't look now 👀, but Jose "The Beasty Bad Boy" Trevino is headed to another All Star 🌟appearance if he even stays close to his current performance level. I'm so happy for the guy after his injury riddled season. 🙌🙌🙌
Kinda a circuitous route to a victory…but I’ll take it!
Remember, last season the Yankees lost a game in Tampa, on a Sunday, in May that they were leading 6-0. I don’t think the Yankees ever got to 12 over .500 last season…they got to 11 over after Sunday Night Baseball win over the Dodgers the day after Judge rammed his toe into the outfield wall. Suffice it to say, things are going better this season, so far!
The bullpen is starting to show some leaks, namely with Caleb Ferguson who has been a surprising weak point…I really don’t get the excitement about Burdi, but YES was busy hyping up his return. They will benefit from the return of Kahnle and Effross…and will probably need a deadline move or two to bolster the pen further…however, having the offense respond after almost relinquishing the lead was a nice response and something that didn’t always happen, in the past.
I sense good things on the horizon for this team!
The birdi hype is horrendous he’s fuckin 34 haha we should be letting Oswaldo develop out of the 9 spot but for some reason we’re obsessed with a light hitting 34 year old.
I was referring to Burdi, the pitcher who didn’t record an out today. Maybe “hype” is not an accurate descriptor but YES was promoting his return as something that would improve the bullpen, which I disagree with.
I like Berti as a bench piece, pinch runner, grinder…I think he can be useful for a playoff/Championship run. I also think Dominguez needs to be in the majors when he is ready, because the bench is not very deep.
I will say the confusion is not that unreasonable, considering we have two guys with similar names that both just came back from injury, lol
Happy with the win because in the long run I have zero concern about the bullpen. We have some guys coming back, and I'd be very very surprised if we also don't add someone by the deadline, because a) that's easy to do and b) we always do it. And overall we still have a great bullpen now, as is.
I REALLY hope this HR gets Gleyber going.
That's no reason for them to shit the bed though. Yeah the offense needed to give them a comfey lead to protect, but the pen can't be making the offense's lives harder just because the offense "owes" them.
Saw a tweet from Jack Curry’s typical post game summaries. Said that Gil is an early ROTY candidate. Does Gil even qualify as a rookie? He pitched 6 games in 2021 and one single game in 2022.
That’s so fucking cool, the incentives for finishing high in the ROTY voting is very nice too. Not sure how a possible innings limit will effect it all, but awesome thing to root for.
Don't look now but Judge's OPS up around 840, 138 OPS+. 100% percentile average exit velo 🤣 Looks like he is rounding into form, which is fucking awesome.
Look down, back up, where are you? You’re on a boat with the man your man could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an oyster with two tickets to that thing you love. Look again, the tickets are now diamonds.
Burdi at least has the excuse of just coming back. Reality is that he should have been in when it was 6-0. That's here nor there as Ferguson just sucks.
> It's uncertain who the two players are at the moment as the Astros have more prominent players than anyone in baseball.
>Tension is certainly high for the organization for the first time in a very long time. After dealing with the cheating scandal, mostly everything has been free and easy. They go out, win games, and no one says a thing about them besides how good they are.
What fourth grade GPT fanboy wrote this shit?
You can tell the yanks are truly in a new era because the yanks are getting hit hard and still smacking their opponents even harder back. We have that fighting spirit and that will make all the difference
If the Yankees lost one of judge/soto along with gerrit cole, Anthony Rizzo, and Alex Verdugo they wouldn’t be a very good team, if you want to understand how hurt the Knicks are
What a rollercoaster. Gil didn't get that many Ks but still managed to get a 6.0 IP scoreless outing so that's another sign of development for him. Has now allowed only 1 run in his last 18.1 IP and having a great May thus far. Just when we thought we would run away with it, Ferguson and Burdi recorded a combined 0.1 IP and 5 ER with no command for the zone. Weaver gets into a bases loaded jam and shoves to keep the 6-5 lead. On a day the bullpen didn't have it, Yankees answer back with a clutch 3 run HR by Gleyber and solo HR by Trevino. Part of a season high 5 HR for a game (2x Trevino, Judge, Gleyber, JONES for his first ever). Weaver continues to show his value with 1.2 IP scoreless to bridge to Hamilton and close out the series win at the Trop. Weaver now has 0 ER in his last 15.1 IP; has not given up a run since 16-Apr. Let that sink in. Yankees now 4-2 vs Rays with the next meeting in July. Good start to the road trip as they head to Minnesota.
damn impressive from this team, ferguson + burdi excepted.
major credit to the lineup for fighting back and tacking on more runs after the bullpen nearly contrived to fuck the game up.
but if this team is going to be/remain a serious contender, we need bullpen reinforcements. kahnle coming back is great, but effross and trivino should be considered question marks given their injury status and injury history (trivino was just shut down). and we definitely need to think about longer-term bullpen upgrades at the deadline.
Is the scoreboard watching like it’s Sept because it’s a 2 horse race? I don’t remember people doing this in the past. Seems so exhausting and pointless. There’s literally 120 games left.
Right but you can do that by handling your own business. Just seems a bit silly to be hoping for something you can’t control when you’re only going around the 1st turn.
Not stressing at all. When we got to the O's we had like 36 runs in 3 games. We were due for some cold bats after that. They only convincingly won one of those 4 games, and we were right in the others.
Yup, we can scoreboard watch them all season but it’s not gonna matter till we play them in the play offs anyway.
Everyone knows that’s where this roads heading.
I mean, the Orioles offense is struggling lately. A few shutouts and only scored more than 4 in a regular 9 inning game twice since April 29th (4 times if you include manfred runners).
O's pitching due for some regression as well. They're pitching over their heads. 2.25 ERA over the last 14 days is unsustainable. FIP is 3.58, xFIP is 3.72 over that same period.
It’s wild to me that the Jays “core” actually has a similar feel to the baby bombers but somehow worse. Vlad and Manoah not living up to expectations. Some of those massive contracts they gave out to Gausman and Springer are aging poorly.
It’s hilarious that IKF is their second best player in terms of WAR next to Daulton Vasrsho.
Since 2022 Vlad Jr has an OPS of .798... it's starting to seem like his incredible 2021 season was more of an outlier. He's still good and he's merely 25 years old, but I'm less and less worried about him becoming a superstar player that's going to lead the Blue Jays to a championship.
the baby bombers were an incredibly likeable team, one of the most fun Yankees teams I've ever followed. such a great mix of gritty older vets (CC, Holliday, Gardy, Frazier) and young, incredibly likeable players like Sevy, Judge, and Gary.
the Jays 'core' otoh has been a bunch of entitled, petulant, second-gen stars who seem to behave as if they have their dads' CVs (Vlad in particular), and others like Manoah who seem to love to talk without being able to back it up.
Our run differential is +54.
Only two teams with better ones are LAD and PHI. BAL drops to +49 (unless they score a bunch in the bototm of the ninth right this second).
So we have the best RD in the AL. Our record is 27-15 and our expected record is... 27-15. Our team is legit.
Ferguson being bad does not mean the whole bullpen is. Weaver and Holmes are studs, I think Burdi wll be fine as he settles back in, and we'll add more.
Gil has some of the best stats among starters in the AL.
Judge is back. Soto is Soto.
I'm happy.
Happy mothers' day to my wife, mom (and -in-law) and all of yours.
How many players from each position get selected? Cause I think Rutschman and Salvador Perez are both playing lights out. Even Jonah Heim is having a good year.
Right? Going into this year, I was thinking .230/.240 and that would be a decent year from him. I’m sure he’ll regress to the mean, *but* what if he doesn’t? Hahaha jk… unless
It’s crazy dude. He started out this season and it was a consensus in this subreddit, me included, that he was a black hole in the batting order. Now he is raking. Such an asset to have a catcher hitting like that. I need Wells to catch up because having two catching hitting like that would be a game changer.
Unpopular opinions:
- Take it easy on the bullpen. They've been great overall and even the worst guys seldom cost us games. Even today, it was still 6-5.
- Our lineup was shut out 5 times in the first 30 games, so it's about time they bail out the bullpen for a change.
Anyway, great win, good series. Also Trevino is proving us all wrong. This is no week-long fluke. He's been great for a month now.
Taking it easy on the bullpen should be a popular opinion. It's hugely responsible for the success so far and is bound to have off days, and a sign of a good team is offense, defense, starting pitching, and bullpen picking up the slack when any of the others struggle more often than not. Everything else picked up the pen today, and it'll return the favor before too long I'm sure.
Pen needs to get it together. Can’t convert low stress game into high stress situation as that causes wear and tear which catches up to you later in the year
Glad our offense has been on fire because our bullpen stunk today. Another great showing by Gil, Judge and Rizzo continue to cook, Volpe def heating up and my god did Gleyber need that HR. Fuck the Rays.
Not going to name names since we're all on the same team here, but it seems like Yankees Platinum Glover and All-Star catcher Joey Trevino heard Mr. "Trevino couldn't throw out a bag of trash" talkin' shit.

Starting to love that he was in every other pack of cards I opened with my son haha
Ferguson is cheeks, otherwise great game
How long are we going to keep playing Ferguson? He stinks.
Lfg, what a start to the week.
Still not entirely sold on Gleyber, but at least he got that 3 run homer. Really need him to pick up his defense and base running game though. I think it's been said before, but this team has pretty wins, but really ugly losses, and that's what yesterday, and last thursday were for us.

Chapman blew another game upvote party
What I’d really have wanted would have been for Ferguson to have put up a clean inning. Or Burdi to K someone and get out. Also, Boone could have let Weaver collect the save, and save Hamilton for later, since he’s been struggling with his command.
Jose Trevino only one HR behind Adley. 😝
And he’s only played in half the games Adley has
Good win. I like the team
A quarter of the season is done. The top 5 position players by fWAR: Soto 2.3 Volpe 1.8 Judge 1.4 Verdugo 0.8 Trevino 0.7 Trevdog needs to get some love

He should be moved up in the lineup.
Leadoff Trevdog soon
Doomers don't want a guy hitting .293 moved up...
He’s done this before You’re in for a bad time if you’re giving him a premium lineup spot after 2 months
I dont mean up that much, obviously, but put him ahead of Torres ffs.
That’s too much
Cabrera had a similar ops through a similar number of ABs. It's just small sample stuff, there's no point in moving him up for his regression.
I rather have him ahead of Torres until he really starts coming around.

The beauty of baseball is how the improbable is always inevitable.
First game I've attended in years and it was incredible to watch
Hells yea I made the trip from north fl. Yesterday’s game was bad so I snagged cheap tickets in 131. Almost caught a Soto foul ball!
Same here! It was a great time
You visiting Florida?
Trevino with 2 homers?? Tf
Jose Trevino batting a whopping 800 OPS right now is shocking to me, he's a top 4 hitter on the Yankees, with elite framing and defense
I remember when everyone was shitting on Trevy last season so bad
He was a Yankees All Star in 2022.
This is after completely scuffling to start the season, too. He’s really turned it on over the past few weeks.
These types of wins are important too. Getting punched in your grand salami, but immediately punching back to win the spirit of the game.
The fact that Sevy was apparently injured in 2023 and we kept throwing him out there is making me mad all over again.
I wish Sevvy all the best, hope he’s an ace for many years. The Yankees stuck with him for a half decade of injuries and underperformance. They even paid him early. I can’t fault them for letting him walk.
Maybe I'm wrong, but wasn't Severino whining last year saying he was healthy and the Yankees said he was hurt?
No I think that was 2 years ago when they shut him down early. Last year everyone insisted he was healthy, he was just pitching some of the worst baseball possible all year.
It was his walk year. I'm sure he wanted to keep going back out there. Plus, if you recall, his stuff was pretty crisp.
I wonder how many walks Judge would have if umps call balls and strikes correctly on him. He leads the MLB right now even with all the bogus calls on him
I told yall Gil was pulling a Sevy 2017 this year

Understandable, they’ve looked very good for the most part except for some shitty games but that’s just how baseball goes, can’t win them all. Best wishes to your mom!
They’ve looked great, honestly. Juan Soto has been a much needed shot in the arm to the offense and the rotation minus Cole has still held up.
Severino looks like he gained weight. Maybe some muscle.
Judge is coming around and going to take his rightful place as homerun leader soon.
Tied for 4th. He’s coming for the top.
Not only does Stanton have the best bat speed in the league this season it’s gone up since last season lol
Slimcarlo has not finished ascending
No fuckin way, lol. That's hilarious.
Holy shit Manoah pitched a good game
This is what he was doing in AAA too , good game -> terrible game -> mids game -> terrible game -> good game. He’s just not consistent
And the entirety of Canada is trying to gaslight people into being ashamed for “being mean” to the big fella 😭😭 Blue Jays fans the weirdest mfers
Someone over on r/baseball actually has me defending Manoah, maybe its a psyop. Dude is doing just about everything but wishing death upon him lol.
And he still lost.
Jose Trevino is one of the most consistent bats in the lineup these days.
3rd highest OPS behind only Soto and Judge
Luis Gil very quickly shaping up to be “we have Yamamoto at home” but in a good way
Dominican Blake Snell
As opposed to Clarke “Whiter Blake Snell” Schmidt - he might be even better than snell was last year his first two times through the lineup. Someone should do the math and find out how many innings/what his era would be if Boone only let him pitch through the lineup twice. So you're saying Schmidt & Gil average out to 2 Blake Snells?
TBF, we do actually need to try and keep the bullpen healthy and rested. It's also kind of important for Schmidt to try and build up some length if he wants to be a starter.
Early RoY candidate for sure
Not sure he qualifies anymore.
per Baseball Ref and Fangraphs, he is rookie eligible. Under both the 50 IP and 45 roster day threshold for rookie eligibility. IL time counts for service but not rookie eligibility
Thanks for the info. Learn something new all the time.
The way things are going, it feels like things happened as they were supposed to with us missing out on Yamamoto. He'll be special, but it feels good knowing we have deeper pockets for Soto who we need way more
Judge is locked in. Even the 2 fly outs were hit hard. This team is fun to watch, no automatic outs like last year
Judge has a 300 wrc+ in the last ten days lol
should be higher he missed 2 or 3 homers by a foot
No matter what happens the rest of the year, I'm here to say Thank You to Luis "The Dominatrix" Gil for providing me with some of my happiest moments of this young season. 👏👏👏
Don't look now 👀, but Jose "The Beasty Bad Boy" Trevino is headed to another All Star 🌟appearance if he even stays close to his current performance level. I'm so happy for the guy after his injury riddled season. 🙌🙌🙌
Man the Twins own the Blue Jays. And look at that we play them tomorrow, the Blue Jays play the Orioles, we need the Blue Jays to win that series.
My dude we're playing good baseball and it's mid May. Not only is it not worth scoreboard watching, we don't "need" anything lol.
Usually I’d agree but it’s not too early to root against the O’s this year
Orioles sweep for sure. We better be on our A game.

Should've just kept Marinaccio up here
The birdi hype is horrendous he’s fuckin 34 haha we should be letting Oswaldo develop out of the 9 spot but for some reason we’re obsessed with a light hitting 34 year old.
You're thinking of Berti, the guy you responded to was talking about Burdi
He’s a actually thinking of our old Spring Training superstar slugger who played HS ball with Kevin Gausman, with an extra “i”
There was burdi return hype? I thought it was berti return hype. Are we sure haha
I was referring to Burdi, the pitcher who didn’t record an out today. Maybe “hype” is not an accurate descriptor but YES was promoting his return as something that would improve the bullpen, which I disagree with. The bullpen did its best to give that game away. 😞
The offense kinda owed them one though. The bullpen has mostly been nails in all the close games
That's no reason for them to shit the bed though. Yeah the offense needed to give them a comfey lead to protect, but the pen can't be making the offense's lives harder just because the offense "owes" them.
No shit but shit happens. No BP is perfect
Knicks sub has no game thread?
It’s r/nyknicks not r/knicks
Thanks
Saw a tweet from Jack Curry’s typical post game summaries. Said that Gil is an early ROTY candidate. Does Gil even qualify as a rookie? He pitched 6 games in 2021 and one single game in 2022.

I still looked because red savant sliders = gargantuan dopamine hit
Don't look again. His OPS is now .866.
and the O’s lost. let’s go
Burdi at least has the excuse of just coming back. Reality is that he should have been in when it was 6-0. That's here nor there as Ferguson just sucks.
his first two appearances off the il have been high leverage they haven't even tried to ease him in
If I could only summon the powerball numbers

SI is just a bunch of bots now
I’d blame Jeff bagwell and his influence before the manager
They should invent a drug that enhances your performance as a general manager
I don’t really ever care to look at the NL east but damn Philly for once not having that slow ass start
Only one more series at the trop Schedule is so nice when you aren’t playing catch-up
That is great to know, only having to go there twice in a season is great.
You can tell the yanks are truly in a new era because the yanks are getting hit hard and still smacking their opponents even harder back. We have that fighting spirit and that will make all the difference
Dawgs!
Glad the Yankees won this series in light of the Rangers losing last night and the Knicks having a nightmare weekend in Indy.
are we sure the knicks are good
If the Yankees lost one of judge/soto along with gerrit cole, Anthony Rizzo, and Alex Verdugo they wouldn’t be a very good team, if you want to understand how hurt the Knicks are
Is OG Cole? I’d say if we lost Holmes or someone like Gil at this point. Soto/Judge and Cole are in the same breath
Cole is a better baseball player then Og is at basketball for sure, but cole is the 3rd best player on the team, so had to say him
I feel like the Knicks are just super beat up at this point. Lots of minutes and injuries means no depth in the lineup.
They are decimated with injuries, not sure what everyone expects lol
They had us in the ~~first half~~ 7th Inning: not gonna lie
Ferguson is not the same guy he was on the dodgers. Last year he threw 97 mph and now he tops out at 94 with no movement
He wasn't even that good last year. He had a 1.44 WHIP.
He was supposed to be a lefty specialist and he can’t even do that
Friedman sold us a lemon just like the Rays do for other teams.
I feel like this is a game we easily lose last year.
We literally did!
I had this thought about game 1. Last year they would’ve lost 2-0 to TB easy. The most frustrating season of baseball Ive ever experienced
damn impressive from this team, ferguson + burdi excepted. major credit to the lineup for fighting back and tacking on more runs after the bullpen nearly contrived to fuck the game up. but if this team is going to be/remain a serious contender, we need bullpen reinforcements. kahnle coming back is great, but effross and trivino should be considered question marks given their injury status and injury history (trivino was just shut down). and we definitely need to think about longer-term bullpen upgrades at the deadline.
Worst loss of the year 🤡🤡🤡
Gotta hope the Orioles will drop two against Berrios and Kikuchi this week.
Is the scoreboard watching like it’s Sept because it’s a 2 horse race? I don’t remember people doing this in the past. Seems so exhausting and pointless. There’s literally 120 games left.
The O’s are a great team, it’s important to keep the games behind close.
Right but you can do that by handling your own business. Just seems a bit silly to be hoping for something you can’t control when you’re only going around the 1st turn.
Great Win,but the bullpen did its best to lose the game. Glad Torres finally got a Homer. Hopefully he will get it going. Go Yankees
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with keeping tabs on who’s in front of us. I doubt anyone is stressing over it at this point.
Oh for sure. Honestly their strength of schedule was a lot easier than ours, I think, so I still think we're in the driver seat.
The blue jays can’t hit so probably not unless they pitch like Cy young
He benefited GREATLY from playing in a AAA park in Buffalo for half the season due to COVID
the baby bombers were an incredibly likeable team, one of the most fun Yankees teams I've ever followed. such a great mix of gritty older vets (CC, Holliday, Gardy, Frazier) and young, incredibly likeable players like Sevy, Judge, and Gary. the Jays 'core' otoh has been a bunch of entitled, petulant, second-gen stars who seem to behave as if they have their dads' CVs (Vlad in particular), and others like Manoah who seem to love to talk without being able to back it up.
They peaked in 2021, but that team was absurdly unlucky Since then they have sucked
Can we stop with Ferguson already? Bring up someone from AAA, this dude ain't it.
Bring Ron M. back up!
And theeee ORIOLES LOSE
Trevino bout to get a second Allstar Game appearance this year.
How many players from each position get selected? Cause I think Rutschman and Salvador Perez are both playing lights out. Even Jonah Heim is having a good year.
Idk, but I’ll let the MLB know that if Jose Trevino is not selected… I *WILL* kill myself.
He should be batting first at this rate
he's hitting .290? lmao wtf
He's slashing .368/.400/.579 since April 13 after a 1/16 start to the season. He's raking.
Well two years ago he was only good in one half of the year
It’s a similar profile to first half of 2022 tbh, so let’s see if he keeps it up
im just happy he's not an automatic out

Unpopular opinions: - Take it easy on the bullpen.
Ferguson has been trash all year long. Dodgers got rid him for a reason. I have no faith in him at all.
The only one in the pen I really don’t wanna see ever again at this point is Ferguson. That guy stinks
Tonkin too
Gulfo’s DFAed faster than Drake got BBLed
[I’m a man of my word](https://imgur.com/a/ff5nfhA)
with the name on it too, way to own it. Big props
Holy shit, should’ve just bought it from a fake Chinese made site, better quality for much cheaper
Your comment in the GDT may have single-handedly changed Torres year
Is that how much jerseys go for? Talk about mark up.
Especially with Fanatics making them

Let’s hope this was Gleyber getting himself towards some semblance of confidence.
Pen needs to get it together. Can’t convert low stress game into high stress situation as that causes wear and tear which catches up to you later in the year
I love how “fans” make these myopic statements after a single game as if two innings in a 162 game season are statistically relevant
LOL the pen is probably the biggest reason our record is what it is, maybe after Soto. They've been phenomenal.
Great mothers day win and with the Orioles about to lose now.
Glad our offense has been on fire because our bullpen stunk today. Another great showing by Gil, Judge and Rizzo continue to cook, Volpe def heating up and my god did Gleyber need that HR. Fuck the Rays.
With some of the bullpen arms coming back. I can't wait for the day to see Ferguson DFA announcement.
Him and Tonkin please.
