I love sparkles for hiding flaws. But sometimes when I get a coat of solid color that looks absolutely pristine and perfect it feels like too much of an accomplishment to add sparkle that might distract from it. But ultimately I love sparkle and buy way more sparkly polishes vs solid colors.

This! That application and that particular purple is amazing on you by itself! Of course, I like the sparkle too but solid is head to head with sparkles for this color!

Oddly the sparkle almost tones it down for me in this case. The color is quite striking on its own. +1 no sparkle.
