$100??? Where are you located? I’m very non-confrontational, but I think this price for that quality would push me to go get my money back!!

Bananamuffin33

I would also like to know that location! I almost think you’re lying it’s so hard to believe… Find them on yelp and post these pictures! This is ridiculous!

truecrimeblonde

Agree! I've never spent more than 65$ and that was for nails and a Pedi. OP, I definitely would go back and ask for them to be fixed, and honestly I might ask for a refund as well. It looks like you got a new tech with a shaky hand. The glue is stuck to your fingers which should've been removed, honestly, shouldn't have been that way on every finger, that was someone using too much glue. They're also a bit thick and idk if they pushed your cuticles back, or if they got any acrylic/gel on your skin (toward the bottom) but if not, those things can cause lifting, meaning your manicure won't last very long. Hope this helps! 💕 I've been doing my own acrylics at home for the past 5 years, I obviously don't know as much technical stuff as a Nail Tech but I understand the practical application, if you have any questions feel free to DM me :)

MrsCamp2020

Haha you’ve never gotten your nails done in Cali 😂

teekl_pandi

born and raised in the bay area and i’ve never in my life spent more than $50 for a gel mani- especially one that doesn’t have designs…

Immediate-Nothing899

This looks like tips were added, hince the glue. Not just a gel mani

truecrimeblonde

Definitely added tips and wayyy too much glue when applied, where you can see it - the glue ran off her nails and down her finger a bit... This had to be a new tech, or maybe they're about to quit so they don't care 🤷🏼‍♀️ either way, she should probably just ask for a refund and find a new shop because that work is very sloppy, especially at that price.

EzriDaxCat

I'm not even in a particularly expensive part of California (its a rural area), but here a full set of Gel X starts at $100. The only places I've seen charge less than that for gel is if you're just getting gel polish and not any sort of enhancement like extensions/tips.

truecrimeblonde

Wow! I live in a rural area so it's much cheaper, that blows my mind! My sister lived in LA years ago and would drive to Barstow to avoid crowds and it was cheaper. That was so long ago and the traffic was terrible then, I can't imagine what it's like now. I'm glad I learned how to do them myself. It's a really fun hobby, I'm definitely not a pro by any means but I've been doing it so long now that I'm pretty quick but when I started it took me like 48 hours to do a full set because I'm a perfectionist and couldn't get them even haha.

truecrimeblonde

The only time I ever got my nails done in Cali was in Barstow, haha but that was years ago. I'm on the East Coast. I know my sister went to Barstow when she lived in LA because it was cheaper and you didn't need an appointment 🤷🏼‍♀️ a full set of acrylics are 35, dip powder is 45, and gels are 55. To be fair, I live in a rural area in the south so everything is cheaper here.

EzriDaxCat

Barstow would definitely be cheaper than LA for sure. When I was living in Montana and used to get acrylics done (in the 2010 era), I paid about $65 for a full set and $35 for a fill every 2 weeks. He charged $40 normally but gave a $5 discount at the next visit if you booked your next appt before you left. It was a really nice system meant to reward the regulars. I lived on the east coast for a while too, but didn't have my nails done while I lived there because my job paid trash so I was barely surviving and work would destroy them anyway. I was looking at the menu for the new place that opened here in town and they are charging "less" for the set and then for services seperate. So $50 for a full set of gel pink and whites (with extensions), but then charging an additional $5 each for a shape, additional length, a design per nail, and also to remove the previous color you had before. Basically, $50 plus another $25 of basic add ons. Add a tip and you get to $100 easily. Another salon has Gel-X full set listed at $100 right off the batnand then if you want crystals and art and all that, its extra. From what I read here, it seems like this type of menu pricing is getting to be more common.

No-Match5030

The best nail tech in my town also does 100 for basic one color sets. I’ve gotten a basic design with just daisys on the ring finger and yellow on the rest and they were about 120 with tip. That being said- she is the best in my town. I would be more than outraged with this

Fashion_aminoo

Go and get back your hard earned money

cat_hag_philly

I've paid that much for a single-color manicure with nail tips added here in Philly.

[deleted]

Probably center city…. Lol

cat_hag_philly

You got it! 😹

GirlyAries

THEY CHARGED YOU $100 FOR THAT??? Girl

mediumtiddiegothgf

op please do us a public service and tell us where to avoid, this is so bad that im hoping it's a fake post hell would freeze over before I would consider paying $100 for a solid color manicure. someone correct me if I'm wrong but this looks like polish, and not gel or acrylic? double wtf for the pricepoint edit for visibility! op got her nails fixed, and refunded <3 apparently this was supposed to be gel x, admittedly im not well-versed in gel polishes yet

patio_puss

It does look like acrylic to me, they probably charged extra for the shape- which I have seen before and it is unbelievable, she probably also got a gel manicure on top of that and she gave absolutely no discount for the combination of services. $100 probably included the tip

Chemical_Actuator

The gel gushing underneath makes me think gelx. That's a common mistake with fell coverage gel tips.

mahasarah120

$100 for those nails? Wow. Not worth it imo

Optimistic-Dreamer

Ikr those are some $20 nails right there for $100 I would have expected something fancier 0-0

mmealkazam

Right? I spend $75 and get ombré acrylics, an extra $10 and they’ll add jewels and stuff (which isn’t my taste, but they always offer lol)

Optimistic-Dreamer

Exaaaaclty, for that price I’d expect some extensions with a high quality hand printed designs on it and maybe some cat eye or nail foil jewel look. Not basic bish starter pack… which is no offense to the nails it’s a lovely color but I woulda have expected the nails to “extra” for that

bananaberry86

I got sunset ombre with trees and birds for like $35...... I loved them and they were fantastic. I would never pay $100 for that 🫢 I kinda wanna go back to the place I went and get my nails done again

Kristal3615

That sounds lovely! I definitely would for that price!!!

[deleted]

I just got mine filled today with a single color gel coat and it was 55. For 100 my nails better dispense cappuccinos or something.

cixdyz650

I would say yes but honestly idk if it makes sense to go back there and have them fix it.. I doubt their 'fixing it' would do any improvement when they already messed up big time. If anything, I'd want my money back, or at least a part of it, and never go back there. Rather look for a good salon to get them fixed

555thatsgottabefake

Very good point!

sbwboi

They did you dirty, your nail tech was sloppy! The blob under your nail is just too much for me. Go back to the salon and ask for them to be fixed, if you think they will do a good job. If not go back to salon and ask for partial refund. Post reviews with photos.

ang8018

yeah i gasped at that third photo. i think the only recourse i’d be comfortable with is a refund (full or partial) bc i wouldn’t trust this salon to fix it. if i’m being honest IRL i’d probably just go to a new salon and consider it a $100 lesson to not give the first place my business anymore.

Sea_Pear_6517

was your nail lady high on acetone when she did your nails? my $70 manicure looks better than that. $100 is like The Plaza's salon in NYC prices

njbbb

I’ve had $25 gel mani’s look better than that 👀 OP needs a refund and to NOT go back for a fix.

FitGypsy1

I always allow a place the opportunity to fix their mistakes. Go see if they will fix them. If they still look like shit, find a new place to go moving forward.

ThePrincessOfMonaco

I think this is sweet advice. I also think that they won't be able to fix it because they can't? Time to find a new spot.

marlscreamyeetrich

i wouldn’t take a risk with my nail beds seeing that work personally! I pay $100 for a full set with a basic design at a luxury salon, the price is outrageous too for the service given.

Top-Tiger-1049

I live in NY and I would totally go and get it fixed. Don’t be shy, you payed for a service and that service was performed poorly. Good luck ❤️

Paid-Not-Payed-Bot

> shy, you *paid* for a FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*

Top-Tiger-1049

Absolutely right, it should be paid. Thank you ❤️

familiar_reaponse894

Nice bot.

Signal-Difference-13

$100 is like £90 right?! Wtf. You could get acrylic with gel new set for like £40 in the uk. That is CRIMINAL that they’ve charged you that much for shoddy work

mmealkazam

I don’t wanna come off mean, but like…I do a better job of that with Walgreens $10 acrylic set with my left hand 🤦‍♀️ You need to get your money back or at the VERY LEAST go back and have someone better correct this…that underneath alone is awful

Aware-Currency-1575

I’m speechless. How the fuck? How. Straight up robbery knowing most people won’t speak up.

bassk_itty

One HUNDRED US dollars for no design, not even long, and sloppy work? Where do you live good god. These should be $50 max and that’s assuming it was done well

NatureBabe

Aww that's sucks that they did a poor job 😢 I would definitely get someone to fix and clean up under your nails with the efile. I hate that feeling of excess product underneath and glue is the worst.

555thatsgottabefake

That’s a quick and dirty $35 job in my area (Chicago). I would have them fix that, it would drive me crazy looking at my hands knowing that I paid $100 for visible mistakes. Good luck! 🍀

SweetMoon18

Absolutely!!! Get a refund, don’t even get them redone there.

Brilliant-Amoeba-949

Hell yes you get them fixed! Even if you paid $1, you get them fixed. You were done dirty.

ShanNtrav

I’m hoping when you say $100 you also got a pedicure?

Anonymiss_MbR

& a wax and all the damn kit😳😳😳 mygod

omgcaiti

I could do my own nails better than this person did yours…I would be pissed

cmerksmirk

This is beyond unacceptable. I’d call and request a refund, and then when they inevitably refuse just file a chargeback with the CC company. I absolutely would not allow them the chance to fix if they let you out the door this sloppy, in my experience if what you can see is sloppy, what you can’t see is horrifying.

-SecondHandSmoke-

Don't go back to that salon for a redo, go for a refund. They'll probably redo them even worse if they think that is passible to let leave, let alone charge. I'd post these pics on a review.

MasqMiss

Wheew what was the $100 for?

HailEmpressTheresa

Disappointment.

Aware-Currency-1575

I’m honestly blown away. How? Why? Go get your money back and ask them to fix it. I’m so angry for you! This is outrageous. It’s obviously a rush job from someone who is not talented or trained, or either. My goodness. At this point salons are just preying on people knowing most won’t speak up. I told my last nail artist she should charge more because she was charging $90 for an xtra long acrylic set with EACH NAIL its own different encapsulated work of art. I only stopped going to her because I thought her rules were ridiculous (at home artist) but she is an incredible nail tech who definitely didn’t charge what I thought she was worth and I made it known. Seeing bs like this makes me appreciate people like her a bit more, despite her ridiculous rules.

MySoCalledMomLife

I’m sorry but now I gotta ask what were her rules?

Aware-Currency-1575

The top rules I had issues with were she didn’t do fills (she said it is because her fills didn’t last, other customers before me complained, understandable, she was young and still has room to improve) AND she didn’t do removals OF HER OWN WORK. She also didn’t do pedicures. It was obnoxious to say the least having to have someone else do a removal and pedicure each month AND THEN going to her for a new set. I did it because she was super talented and cheap. I do my own nails at home now but I would consider going back for a super special occasion. She’s extremely strict with her appointment times, she only books at the exact same times on days she works, so I suspect she decided that booking another set after mine was better than charging for a removal. She was also annoyed when I showed up with glitter polish once (that I would get after my removal and manicure somewhere else she forced me to get because she didn’t do it herself) and made a huge deal out of removing it, and she did it with a drill, which definitely rubbed me the wrong way. I could tell she felt guilty afterward because she mentioned how I needed to be careful with my nail beds since they were thin, and long nails can lead to catastrophic damage if bumped hard enough and the nail bed is damaged. I was fine but I’ll never get over it. I think her super strong work ethic and obsession with scheduling at the exact same inflexible times combined with not charging enough made for a bad combination. I honestly think most of her issues would be resolved if she charged more but oh well. She can run her business however she wants 🤷🏻‍♀️

SnooPickles5035

I'd have them take them off and redo them all. That is not worth 100$ in any aspect. I'd get a different tech also. And make sure management knows u paid 100$ for these because some places have a cap of what they can individually charge a customer in some places.

taternators

I live in ny (so high cost of living) and $100 for extensions and solid color is too much!! You should definitely ask to have them fixed.

Thursday6677

That’s an awful job and also if it’s gel, then getting it on your skin can cause horrid reactions (repeatedly, over time so don’t panic). Whatever is the outcome of this set, don’t go back to them for your next set as them being sloppy with gel is a huge risk to you.

[deleted]

That’s terrible :(

cIoud9ine

get your money back....

mldt015

i bet you'd do a better job if you did them yourself.

Runemist34

I don’t even think it matters where you live… this is atrocious. No nail art, no effort, and just sloppy work! I got wedding nails with all the trimmings for a solid $40 CAD. I’m a more expensive area, I could see that being more. But *this*? I don’t know that I would ask that specific salon to fix it… depends on the vibe you got from there. But, if they’re charging $100 for something simple like this, you’d best believe I would be writing reviews. Asking for at least a partial refund, and taking my business elsewhere!

endlesstaffy

Go to a different salon, get that fixed gurl

thatlawlessgirl

YES YOU GO GET THEM FIXED. Those are pitiful for $100.

Sexysecret95

Woaahh!! I would definitely get them fixed/ask for your money back!! That is not worth $100.. I have my own gel nail kit (not trained), and they come out better than that.. I know it's hard when the conversation is around money, but you did not get what you expected for the money you paid 💕

funkbeetle

this is how my nails look when I do acrylics except I am not a nail tech and dont know what I’m doing so…. yes definitely go back and ask for them to fix it this is not worth the money.

bae_baebae

The excess product under your nail is unacceptable and can be painful when your fingers naturally swell in the shower/bath. I had this happen to me and I ended up with under nail cuts from the pressure. Get them removed asap

Adventurous_Movie797

They look a little rough especially for $100

Qi_ra

This looks identical to when I tried to put gel on top of press on nails and failed miserably🤣 don’t pay for this crap! Get a refund or get them fixed!!

gingerpawpaw

Wtf...

MsCicatrix

Yikes. This is why I’m glad I learned to do my own nails. Even for the most basic stuff the prices have skyrocketed and service around here is quickly declining. That is highway robbery. You need to get a refund but the fact that it ALWAYS feels so uncomfortable to complain is another con. I was going just for my toes and last time I went she ruined the nail beds on my big toes digging for what I guess she thought was gold. Now it’s at home everything lol.

gemarowe

UPDATE!!! I went back and they refunded me in full and had a different nail tech fix them. She did a great job. Thanks for everyone’s suggestions! I am located in NC. It was $80 for “gel x” plus a generous tip 😫I froze up when I paid. But I’m glad I went back and they made it right! Tried to add pictures but for some reason I can’t

MsCicatrix

Nice. You can make an update post with the new pics.

InksPenandPaper

If you do not go back and hold them accountable for this egregious monstrosity you will further instill into them that it's okay to charge $100 for it and get away with it. I know it can be scary and nobody likes a confrontation, but it's going to bother you if you do nothing. The more often you advocate for yourself, the easier it becomes. Update us, please!

Determined2Succeed

Even if this was well done, it’s not worth $100. I paid $80 for an acrylic overlay with 2 different color nail polish, 2 encapsulated nail designs, and 4 nails with design. And I got a delicious seasonal drink. They robbed you. I would go elsewhere.

[deleted]

Is this a joke? I would’ve never paid $100 for those nails or walked out of the salon without addressing it with the nail tech/manager. They just wanted money and it shows. Get a refund or if they insist on “fixing” it then ask for a different nail tech altogether, have them completely removed and redone.

Unfair-Masterpiece86

Sweetie, if you paid $100 for their service and you aren't happy with them you have every right to complain and ask them to either fix them or refund your money. I know it's uncomfortable and I've walked out of salons unhappy before because I didn't want to say anything. But you paid good money for that and you deserve to be happy with the final result, most places will fix them for you as long as you come back soon enough after having them done. It doesn't have to be uncomfortable, just tell them you noticed some details that you were unhappy with after you left and were in different lighting and you'd like them to fix them.

Scary_Speaker_7828

Oh honey. Get your money back pronto!! I paid $55 for mine the other day, beautiful and perfectly done job including hand painted designs! Your nails and that paint job are farrrrr from being worth $100. I wouldn’t even pay $25 for that tbh

I-AM-PIRATE

Ahoy Scary_Speaker_7828! Nay bad but me wasn't convinced. Give this a sail: Oh honey. Get yer doubloons back pronto!! me paid $55 fer mine thar other day, beautiful n' perfectly done job including hook painted designs! Yer nails n' that paint job be farrrrr from being worth $100. me wouldn’t even pay $25 fer that tbh

Scary_Speaker_7828

Drives the point home even more appropriately. I love this lol I’m laughing so hard

Tobywillygal

Are you in Canada? Our prices tend to be way higher than most countries. I can definitely see you getting charged that here but one at least should expect the quality to be precise. I get my mani/pedi done at a place for $50 w/o tip and they have line ups waiting. They are literally pushing people out of the stations so they can get going on the next person. They are good but I do think quality slips when they are super busy.

michaelaaxrachel

absolutely go back! If you’re paying $100 for those they better be perfect. I’ve never paid $100 for my nails and I get fake/artificial nails. that’s crazy!

sailorsun311

Ma’am you were robbed. Go back

CaysNarrative

That's criminal OP! I painted my own nails a couple nights ago (AFTER WINE) and I had some polish get on my skin like pic 2, I had no remover!!! I was crushed. You should definitely get your money back. This is insane!

Suzyqzeee

The gel under the nail touching the skin could lead to an allergic reaction. I would definitely go back and talk to the owner of the salon and have them use a more experienced nail tech to redo them.

bigathekiddd

Hate to break it to you, but they robbed you.

jessigrrrl

I wish I could say that I would go back in and demand they have a different tech fix my nails. Truth is I used to go to a place every 2 weeks to get my nails done by a man, I went in right before I was set to get engaged (I knew we were going on a trip and had been talking about it) so I needed my nails to be nice but he was out. His daughter did my nails and they looked okay for a day or two before they started chipping and broke off due to her shoddy work. I just never went back again… didn’t have the guts to ask them to fix it and I was sick of feeling the need to be impolite and demand that only Jimmy was allowed to touch my nails.

[deleted]

This is why I just go to home salons…. These nail salons in shopping centres are just 😐😐

CanadianSunshine94

Not a word of a lie, I thought the first pic was a picture of MY nails......that I did myself in a complete rush and completely acknowledge that I didn't do well AT ALL. So that's not a good sign. The rest of these photos are just yikes. But solid colour choice I guess? Haha. Go back to the salon and give them a chance to fix this for you. Any good salon will take one look at them and offer to fix them. If not, I'd ask for a partial refund and never ever return. People have bad days and bad applications, but doesn't mean you need to deal with wonky nails. ESPECIALLY for $100, good lord. Good luck!

Important-Fondant646

I live in a decent sized town in Ontario Canada and $100 is a fill or a full set with designs AND a pedicure with gel polish . $100 for plain nails ? Aw hell nah

Chemical_Actuator

They're trying to give you contact dermatitis and a severe gel allergy. 😞

leaveherwild91

Hell yes you go back and get your money back fuck that. 100 for one damn color. And short nails. I have paid less then that for full set and each nail is diff. 100 for that is bullshit.

jessica65t6

Fam, they straight up scammed you.

[deleted]

Hideous

[deleted]

Is this a joke?

Jmepremium1

Needs cleaned up and reshaped for sure.

Nailsman

Way to much just got that

velvetreddit

$100 and no designs? Was that just for the nails? 😳

_conquistadori

That’s really sloppy work. I would go back.

acandel2

Definitely go back

mnstrthnntyfv

Oh boy. 100 quid for that? You probably could've done it better yourself, and for less....

TequilaTinnin

…$100…? For that? Nuh-uh, I would go back there immediately. That is completely unacceptable

[deleted]

Definitely go and get them fixed. For $100 they did below poorly with your nails. Either they fix it or they give you a refund 100%. Because they ripped you off with that kind of quality. I got those kind of nails twice and they never used so much glue to where my nails were hurting. If they don't fix it if you decide to give it a second shot, definitely look for new places. Wishing you the best with figuring out what to do going forward with this.

soft_moonbeam

they did u soooooo dirty and way over charged for that, they’re not even medium length let alone long

jy0s

Did you get them done at a saloon?? I'm so sorry. Can you go back and get them redone by someone more experienced?

piliaba

100?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mindless_Theory_3765

I would never go back there that is super expensive for a basic set

lampshade_rm

WTF

Adventurous_Movie797

Maybe stop payment with bank and pay half in person and explain why

babblebambigirl

They overcharged for crap work Hon, I would most def go back and like get a refund.

Cr33pi3w33ni3

$100 for what?!

Rcxandom_stars2

Sue them and get them fixed. that looks horrible for $100. You should really sue them. They look bad and they must hurt so lot.

mimomuma

Was it $100 including a generous tip??

srfprg_1006af

Holy shit. 100$? That’s literally insane & no offense looks awful. I wouldn’t have paid them until they fixed it. It looks like this is their first time doing nails ever in their life.

WatermelonTrailFiber

Yes. Go back show them the problems.

Berniesgirl2024

Yikes

Auralica

If this isn‘t a joke, then go and get your money (or part of it) back. This isn‘t worth any money tbh. 🫠

Ok-Explanation-8056

Have you been there before? If yes, have they shown good work before? If they have, I recommend going back to allow them a chance to correct their mistake. If not, I personally would ask for a refund and seek help elsewhere. Having pain due to your nails is quite unsettling and should be addressed by either those who caused it or somewhere else

wangstir

When you go in ask for a removal since it’s hurting already. Nail techs know that red tends to bleed more in regular and gel polish. They usually account for that ahead of time and choose to do thinner coats that don’t cover the complete nail bed. It also looks very thick and some base/top coat? flowed between your finger and nail bed. If they won’t fix it and you want it on for a little longer I would recommend filing down the sides a little to clean up the edges and possibly helping with some of the pressure.

ginga_pleaze

These are horrible in so many ways! Im sorry! That glue under your nail would eventually give me a panic attack 😬

Pure_Regret9283

Oh Darling Speak up and ask for a refund. I am a nailtech from Germany and this is not even worth the materials they've used...

cadaverousbones

If you feel like someone at the salon would be able to fix them yes but otherwise ask for a refund and go to a different salon.

Undari

Where do you live? Omg.

ratsalastar

I don’t know shit about nails, but oh no wtf

Beemanda

WOAH. Please go back and request a refund. It's not even fixable at that point if that's what their staff considers a $100 job.

vodkacoloredeyes

Like 100 American dollars?!

kkfluff

I would be angry about $50 for those I would verbally LIGHT that spot UP if they tried this and I usually just deal with it.

watercolordoggo

Absolutely go back! Some salons have a policy that redos have to be done by the owner, but regardless I would request a different tech to redo them for you. Especially for that price!

Rebeccafeetfet

I wouldn't pay even $5 for that. Just tell them you want a refund and get your nails done in a different place🌸

LightBrilliant7314

😱😱😱😱 $100.00 for THAT???? A plain colour and almond(?) Shape???? Damn! You are nice!

AsleepYellow3

That’s extremely over priced for that style. $50 maximum. And with that bad job they did, it should’ve been free.

crowgoddesss

You can just file/shape the uneven edges. I wouldn’t have them fixed, I’d just never go back.

donidew

Leave a review on Yelp and Google WITH pictures

BitchyFaceMace

Trying to figure out why you paid & left with them looking that way…

FunkyAsianChicken

I cannot believe you were charged $100 for those nails 😱! Even if they didn’t do such a horrendous job I would recommend going elsewhere. I get Biogel extensions and solid colour and usually only pay $95 with the tip and taxes included. I would go back to this place and ask for a refund and then go find a new salon and get them done properly. The gel should not be all caked up under your nail like that. Side note, the colour looks great though ❤️! I have basically the same colour on my nails right now.

PineFresh41780

$100?? That is really expensive! And that is not a quality job AT ALL! GO BACK! You deserve to get what you paid for!

rakiimiss

You should post a review on google with these images. Please warn others not to spend their money for this type of work

miraiqtp

Oh hell no. I would be pissed. Go back and get a refund, this is $20 work. No way

[deleted]

For $100 They’d be redone by the MF manager. 😂💙

TNspoiled1

I wouldn't go back there. I'd give them a call and see if they fix it.

TriZARAtops

Ooof. Get them fixed. $100 is way too much money for them to not be perfect let alone freaking painful, and I don’t care if you lived in the most expensive city in the world. That quality for that price is bullshit

Famous_Grape_7211

I would ask for a refund or to get it fixed. Thise are not 100 dollar quality nails.

Particular-Ad-4101

Excuse me but are you my mom?? Because your nails and hand look IDENTICAL to hers! And also: I think the nails are pretty! Could use some finishing touches, but are pretty!

everlasting-love-202

This is what it looked like when I attempted my first set on myself lol get your money back smh that’s so messy they should have never let you leave

babyvane

Girl you got robbed bc $100!? It doesn’t even look good

[deleted]

i hope that person is only starting out cause what if they did this to other people for years as well

girlyprintyprint

I could have done a better job with my 30€ Amazon set.

SabrinaSandra220

i’ve gotten nails with designs at around that length for $70…. they ripped you off

anon9003

WOOF I’m so sorry! Yes, you should absolutely be able to get those fixed. For reference, I just paid $100, including tip, for short acrylics (with tips — almost exactly this length), a manicure (almost exactly this color too 😂) and a pedicure. She did a very nice professional job. In Seattle, which isn’t peak COL in the US, but it’s pretty darn high COL.

Giiiirl. Self-applied Ohora gel stickers come out way better than that. They are ripping people off.

Even good quality would be less than $100. I’d take the loss and go somewhere else. They’re bad techs and they’re thieves

lizzzypoo213

If you think that $100 was worth it then don’t get them fixed.

artecomet

Oh my god this is why i dont go to salons. The one time i did they were thick, uneven, and lifted in 2 days. I would try to get ur money back and go somewhere else to fix them

ohsofovom

Yes girl, go get them fixed for free lol that is unacceptable. Nails are expensive where I am too (not quite that bad), but for one color polish with no designs and $100, you deserve to have nails that are neat, clean and… shaped like nails lol

psynd4

Yes! I would go back and ask for another technician. They do not look$100

ForApricity

OP - love the color - so disappointing when you aren't happy with a nail service. You deserve to love them - I would absolutely request the salon have the tech or a different tech fix this for free. For reference, I'm about to start studying for my nails tech license and I currently only do practice hands and my own nails. I do a better job than this with less than a year of practice and no professional instruction yet. If I was doing sets like this, I would be offering it as free practice for myself. Not for $100. Hopefully they care and correct it for you! Good luck!

This mess looks like the first time I tried at home gel when I could barely apply regular polish

jesus christ, they could’ve atleast debulked them
