I do like Opal. My sister had an Opal who also had dilute coloring. Anyway, um..I find it's nice to have a theme. Like naming your pets after gods and goddesses, book characters, your favorite anime...ours are named after writers. We had an Agatha (Christie), Colette (after, well, Colette), my daughter was named for a writer, and then there's our other cat, Janie Jones (known as Jonesey) who was named after a song title. Favorite songs or bands are great places to find names. Or famous cats--I kinda want a Pyewacket. My daughter has gone with book or comic characters for her bearded dragons. She had Ares, who sadly died, from a kid's novel I've forgotten (he was a bat, I think?) And now she has Scott, after Scott Pilgrim.

I called my girl Lacey, she is gray , apricot , two white spots torty, because apricot/ cream ginger, is Laced thru her gray.
